The staff are very friendly and treat you like kings here. The food is actually surprisingly good ! sushi, tacos, quesadillas, ribey, desert, chips and guacamole were all sooo good !! The only thing that makes this experience not excellent is that we payed $500 for an Ocean view but got a pool view instead.. No ocean view at all. Love the staff all very kind. Our mini fridge was restocked daily which is very nice. Love how you don’t have to leave the resort the gym, spa, little grocery store, restaurants all in the resort!

The property had constant construction on going throughout my stay. Pool service took over an hour to receive drinks, the bar closed at 5pm and limited restaurants to choose from and no swim up bar. Pool was not clean and had leaves and bugs in it. Expected more for an all inclusive resort.

Great resort for a family, with many pool options and activities. Staff was great, food was good and typical for a resort, however, i do wish they had more authentic mexican food. The spa was amazing as well as all the amenities. Overall, a good experience.

The food was not good at all. Then we booked 2 beds and got one. The hotel was under reservation and there were jackhammers and construction and a few bars were closed. I was not very impressed.

Our family stayed at this property and ended up buying a timeshare here! we loved the staff, the food especially, the entertainment and the drinks were (okay) but everything else knocked out of the park - we are looking forward to returning in January

The rating provided would be mainly for Alfredo our waiter and Carmelita the one that cleaned our room. The beds were extremely firm. They did try to accommodate but wasn't successful. There was only 2 main restaurants on site that were delicious. The views were beautiful morning and night. The room was too crowded with furniture. Towel rack kept falling. The snacks in the room can have better options. Overall it was ok. Personally won't consider coming back.

Summer vacation (family of five) we have a 7 yo, 5yo and 1 yo. We chose this property because it seemed very kid friendly and it was! Awesome pool, we spent most of our vacation pool side. Our server Carlos was super friendly and helpful. By day two he knew each of our names and went out of his way to make our time special. The pool activities were fun and our kids loved the games and activities. In the afternoons we signed them up for the kids club so they went there for a few hours, the loved it. Got to decorate cupcakes one day and make a fish bowl the other.The staff there were awesome too. The evening shows were good. Our favorite was the Michael Jackson show. The night show usually gets packed, so get there early for the shows you like. We ate at all the restaurants -Tomatillos had the best food (requires reservation) but also takes walk ins if they are not too busy. Carbon Grill restaurant was our least favorite, it’s the one nearest the beach and the flies this time of year will attack your food. As soon as our food came out it got attacked which wasn’t fun. I’ll also say the servers at Carbon are least friendly. No smiles, no joy, they didn’t make it enjoyable. We loved our room (one bedroom suite) with two bathrooms. Overall we had an amazing time and we all said this was our favorite trip we’ve ever taken and we’ve been to (Hawaii, Belize, Jamaica etc) Thanks Villa Del Palmar, we’ll be back!

Beach is beautiful. Live shows were great. Food was ok, but better during themed buffet served during nightly shows. Service was hit or miss. Some were great, others seemed like we were bothering them. Only place to have breakfast had long lines & wait time due to limited seating. Only 2 pools, with only 1, the smaller pool, being for families. Amenities were cheap. Only 1 ply TP & tissues & limited stocking of in room snacks & beverages. After cleaning the room, they did not restock the paper products so we had to ask for more. Villa Del Palmar Cancun was WAY better & Cabo did not compare sadly. We will visit Cabo again, but will try a different hotel.

Overall we had a great experience. But the fact that there is only one bar is a negative. Also the bartender by the kids Pool is unfriendly and takes forever to make drinks. Several time Had to stand there and wait while He had conversations with co workers. But on the other hand food was great and everyone is helpful and very friendly. Yes would go back with the family. So that’s why I’m Giving a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Excellent property and excellent waiters as well as excellent food. The only issue is in the rooms. It felt like it was wet at times. I’m not sure if that was because of the AC or if it was just an overall feeling, but my bedsheets and my bed felt like they were wet the times that I were there the waiters were excellent service was excellent. The food was great. The pool was great. The overall experience was spectacular. I would highly recommend going to this resort, especially for all inclusive perspective.

Spent 4 nights at Villa del Palmar w/ some friends. The staff here were great! We also enjoyed the food. It was much better than some of the other resorts I have been to. We loved the sushi from the Taco Bar!

I liked the hotel view n look but the service was absolutely horrible in the evening if we wanted to go downtown there was no help to assist with a taxi which I find us unsafe. The dining was very limited and some places still charged for food.

I hope to clearly express my profound disappointment with the cleanliness standards and customer service experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. After sleeping a long day and a multiple checkins to various rooms which were not the room types I requested, we went to sleep. I woke up and discovered a tip left for the housekeeping staff by the previous guest when I moved the pillow on the bed. This discovery was deeply unsettling, as it indicated that the sheets had not been properly cleaned or changed between guests. Finding the tip not only revealed that the sheets had not been changed but also made me question the overall cleanliness practices followed in your hotel. I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk, requesting that a manager address the situation. Unfortunately, I never heard from the manager. I lovely lady named Wendy helped me, but no manager ever followed up or offered any apology. . This lack of follow-up has only added to my dissatisfaction with the overall service provided. Given the importance of hygiene and guest satisfaction, I believe it is crucial for you to address both the cleanliness issue and the failure in communication. Please note, my three children stayed next door and complained their sheets smelled awful. Wendy also had their room changed. I have waited two weeks but no one has called from your hotel.

This property is about the worst resort I’ve ever been to. The hotel only has ONE elevator working. It rained one day and they closed two restaurants. So, every hotel guests in the resort waited for at least an hour and half to get a simple order. The room service didn’t pick up the phone. I hate that every time you order something I had to sign a check. Never that happened to me before where I had to sign a check for a drink. The food is the worst. It’s not even the choices we’re talking about. They served the same food all the time whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The resort basically has only two pools not counting the small on for the kids. It’s way too crowded and dirty. Too many kids screaming Hairs and leaves floating all over the water. I was careless to leave my slippers while I took I walked on a beach, I came back and someone stole it. This place is unsecured some locals were trying to sell illegal drugs in broad daylight in front of my 15 years old son. I can go on and on. I had a VIP access from Expedia and the front desk wanted to charge me additional $150 a night for an ocean view room. The only good thing about this resort is the show which me and my son enjoyed. Other than that, stay way from this property. Terrible

Do not book this hotel. Rude and terrible service. Very limited eating areas. They either decline you of eating there or its at least an hour wait. All the pools and surrounding areas was packed. No tan chairs where put out on the beach. Nobody care and you can clearly see they don't either. I would say i only had good service from a total of 4 people out of all the workers. Everything was slow, over packed, and bare minimal service. Even when you tip them, they give you attitude like you are suppose to. Completely unappreciative. We had and all inclusive package, but it is actally with limitations. I went in with low expectations and they couldn't even meet that. Cabo is beautiful, book at another resort for sure. That way you have a better time.

We recently stayed at Villa del Palmar and had a fantastic experience! Although the hotel is a bit dated, it is closing sections for renovations. The lack of a swim-up bar was not an issue at all because the pool staff was absolutely incredible. Carlos, in particular, was hands down the BEST! He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel is very family-friendly, with cute shows every night that entertained both kids and adults alike. While the food was good, it wasn't amazing, but the overall experience made up for it.
