Such a great stay!! Stephanie was very communicative and gave me instructions on how to use the hot tub. Everything in the cabin was great! Only negative is I noticed some mold starting above the shower in the cabin I chose, but there is a vent so hopefully other guests will start using that more. Thanks for a great stay!!

The room was awesome! Fire Place in room was perfect!!!! Access to RMNP was huge bonus!

I’m a minimalist, this little cottage was great for my bf and dog. We enjoyed a fire place and watched two movies (dvd) provided from the cottages. Super close to Rocky Mountains and easy to access. If I had any questions is was easy to get ahold of the office for answers. Highly recommend.

Wife and I along with our dog stayed one night in the iris cabin. It was perfect and clean. Bed is very firm but for us that was great. Jim and birds restaurant is across the street and excellent food. Great location and amenities.
We loved it and will be back

The room was rundown. The weather stripping was coming off the door. The bathroom had dried paint in the floor and the floorboards were dirty. The toilet ran loudly after flushing and the thermostat did not seem to work in the living room.

Colorado Cottages is a cute and cozy option for a stay in Estes Park. Staff was helpful and friendly. The cottages, though small, were adequate and clean. However, they could use with some updating, particularly the bathroom. Shower was very small and difficult to manage toiletries in small bathroom. Great location and convenient to explore RMNP.

We very much enjoyed the Iris #1 cabin we rented. It was VERY clean. The bed was comfortable. And the location was perfect! It was 10 minutes from RMNP entrance, 10 minutes from the Stanley Hotel (great place tour), and was 10 steps from Bird and Jim’s restaurant that I highly recommend. Check in and out was a piece of cake! We would definitely stay here again when in Estes Park!

Really great and neat places to stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Very clean, beautiful views, comfy-cozy.

Cute little cottages on the edge of RMNP so very easy access. Quiet and friendly, easy check in and out. A couple good restaurants within walking distance as well.

Great location to stay see Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
We walked to restaurants and enjoyed the scenery. It’s not walkable to the middle of the tourist strip, but half dozen good restaurants and coffee shops are around the intersection.
The Beaver Hut cabin is two or three cabin structures cobbled together. I say cobbled because the Beaver Hut is two structures with a pass through hall way with a ceiling low enough to hit my head and I’m only 5’10”.
The structures appear to be vintage so they have cool features like windows that fold out at the top, hinged at the bottom. Flower boxes, and a porch.
There’s a legit old timer wood burning stove and back up heater.
No AC. We didn’t mind cooling with the breeze through the windows but the back wall of windows don’t fit the frames well and need sticks to prop them open in their frame.
The kitchen had the necessities for a long stay but we didn’t cook on the full size oven/range or microwave.
Tha bathroom is spacious but lacks any ventilation of my kind.

As advertised. Not splashy, but comfortable. Tiny bathroom. Please do not use fragrance on the bath towels - some people very sensitive.

We traveled here to go to Rocky Mountain national Park with her four and five-year-old daughters. We loved the rustic, feel and very quaint. We also really enjoyed the ability to have a kitchen. The bathroom was very small, but worked for us. While the kids are still young, we will definitely stay there again.

It was a cozy little cabin and we appreciated being able to cook in after a long day of hiking! Would stay again

Property is very basic and small, if that's what you're in need of. It's an upgraded KOA, with minimal ammenities, but very close to other conveniences. It's right at a main intersection, so there was consistent traffic with both vehicles going into RMNP and the other facilities. I found it hard to get some sleep and the bed was hard. I come to Estes Park yearly for events and continue to look for a nice comfortable place to stay each time. This location was average, but acceptable for what it offers.

The property wasn't fancy it was ok for a cabin. Check in and check out was super easy.

Definitely a no-frills kind of place. A little bit quirky but nice for a weekend away. Felt a bit like a glamping trip - shower, bathtub, cable tv, and functional kitchenette but the WiFi wasn’t really functional. Super close to the entrance for Rocky Mountain National Parks. There are restaurants and a grocery store in super close walking distance. Downtown Estes Park is only a 5-10 min drive away. Staff was quick to help fix a mix-up with our room.

The team are excellent to deal with. I had big travel issues and my keys were left in the office so no matter what time I arrived I could get in. A little map of where my cottage was would have helped as it was very dark, I was tired and I had to wander round until I found it.
The cottage had everything I needed and was clean. I’d love to be back when it’s cooler to get a fire going inside. I would definitely stay again. Great restaurants close by and a grocery store. Perfect location.

Very noisy traffic. Had an attached cabin and could hear everything from the people who rented next to us.

We came to Colorado Cottages 30 years ago for our honeymoon and never forgot the Cottages. Iris cottage was perfect for us! We loved it! We even got to light a fire!
Thank you Colorado Cottages, for a perfect vacation! We will be back!!

Very cozy cabin(s); fully equipped kitchen. Fire pit and hottub in back.
Walkable to restaurants and drive is close enough to many more dining and shopping options.
Views of Rocky Mountains.

I enjoyed staying here with my family that came to visit out of town. The property was perfect for what we needed to enjoy Estes and RMNP!

The bed was a bit lumpy, I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t available for use. Cute cabin very quiet and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very cute cottage. Perfect for what we were looking for. Clean and well maintained. Process to check in was exactly as expected from the welcome email and the cottage had all the essentials we needed. The bathroom is a little tight, especially the shower if you’re tall (we are both over 6’) but it was hard to really care while relaxing on the balcony with such a beautiful view.

Comfortable beds, lots of pillows. It's an older cabin but kept up and clean. Very dog friendly which was great for us.

This is a cute concept but needs some updating for sure. The linens, mattresses, futons etc. all need to be replaced.

Close to Rocky National Park. Several restaurants close by.

Great location, near the park, safe, well lit.

As someone who needs a place to sleep and easy access to the park and restaurants ideal.

Nice, quaint cabins with nearby restaurants.

Where to begin. First the bed is too big for the little “used to be a porch” bedroom. In order to walk around the bed you have to navigate the dresser and make yourself flush to the wall/windows. The thin curtains on the windows that covered three walls did not block any light. Only one of the 10 windows had a shade. The very thin and worn blankets are in need of replacing.
The couch is worn and sags terribly.
The little bathroom smelled of mildew and sour drain smell. We called the manager and he came out to work on the drain. The sink is good for left handed tooth brushers only.
All that being said the property was cute albeit old.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Colorado cottages and we were very satisfied with the service and overall cuteness of the cozy cottage. Everything was so convenient and close to the national park. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything. Especially the last day when we left, my husband had left his I-watch there and by the time that we realized we had forgotten it, we were halfway home to Texas. So we called the staff and spoke to Aaron who was so helpful and he advised us to call UPS and create a shipping label and he would drop it off for us. My husband and I were very impressed with the way it was handled that Aaron would take the time to go out of his way to do that for us. Even though the watch may not had been a big deal it was of sentimental value to my husband and it was super nice of Aaron from Colorado Cottages and UPS to take the time and hospitality to go out of their way to help us get it back. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be going back to Colorado Rocky Mountains and stay at Colorado Cottages. I recommend this cozy place for anyone who is visiting and wants to feel welcomed and can experience an amazing Colorado vacation like we did.

Very clean, love the cabin living, had fireplace, and saw a couple big moose on the property eating folliage. A great experience. Gps didn't work well on this section. I would stay again if in the area.
