We liked the property very much. What put a damper on the visit was that we reserved a water view room and ended up in a wood view room. The manager handled it well, explained that Orbitz advertises things that do not agree with what is available at the property itself. I don't disappoint easily, but I was SO DISAPPOINTED - I' e been waiting to enjoy the harbor view.

I liked a lot of things. The property was unique and interesting to look at, it had its own lakefront area and gazebo, each room had a balcony with a view. The sheets ? Super soft. Staff was super kind as well. The whole building smelled pleasant. Easy to park, <1 mile walk to multiple food options and things to look at. Hiking options <10 minute drive- did the eagle hike in the morning. Literally super close to sister bay as well which was awesome. Really enjoyed our stay we think we’d come back next year. Also? We both fit in the bath together :) very lovely

The property was great, and clean. We appreciate the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The room was a bit humid and I questioned how well the A/C unit was working and the breakfast was lackluster, but beyond that everything was great! The view was amazing and we loved our outdoor deck area.thanks for a great stay!

If was great experience with the hotel

Wonderful stay, one thing I would improve are breakfast options - include some local products. Nice surprise was complimentary wine and cookies in the afternoon. Great sunset view. We were upgraded to bay view. Walking distance to restaurants.

We have a nice weekend seeing the sights and dining. The room was clean and staff freshened it up every day. The view of the lake across the road was wonderful!

The town of Ephraim is perfect as far as location - bit of privacy - a lot less traffic than Sister Bay. All "resorts" have an older feel, but this one truly does -- nothing appears to be updated, stuck in the 70's/80s. The positves: * Awesome Staff *Awesome View if you choose full harborside. Great patio with a perfect little table and chairs, complete with floral arrangements * Free wine and cheese from 4PM til it's gone (usually 9) * Cookies & bottle water upon check-in * Door County Coffee, water, lemonade, hot cocoa & tea at your disposal off the lobby * Cold breakfast that you can toast or heat yourself * Large indoor pool and hot tub attached Cons: * Bathroom in the double queen room is unacceptably tiny. We only had 3 in this room, but it can fit 4 and there is no way that you can fit more than one in there at a time. That makes everything you do take so much longer waiting your turn. * Long hair was on everything, from the carpet, to the chairs to the "fresh towels" - in which I put one to my face after my shower, only to spit out a long hair that was most definitely not mine. * There were food pieces, crumbs and toys under the cushions of the chairs in our room (#203) * Breakfast was less than ideal for my dietary restrictions. I could only have bananas and fruit in lobby. No plain oatmeal, everything had to be made and toasted yourself. (No eggs, although my boys microwaved the frozen Jimmy Dean egg sammies) *Fitness room could not be accessed with your key

Loved the location with a balcony with harbor views. Rooms were very clean and well furnished, but unfortunately the Mattresses were very uncomfortable.

The view is PERFECT! The staff was very kind and helpful with recommendations. The hotel was quiet, very clean, easy parking, and close to many local shops and restaurants. The have their own beach front for watching the water, and they have a grill at the water's edge if you'd like it.

This property is better than the photos. We were pleasantly surprised. The view of the lake was beautiful. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean. We slept well and didn’t hear any noises in the night. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they looked nice. The front desk staff was a joy. We skipped the free breakfast as door county has too many good food options we wanted to try. The breakfast looked basic (some fruit, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and Jimmy deal sandwiches) but would work for people who like a light breakfast.

Hard water in room faucets. Needs to address

Pine Grove has been a favorite for a while. Beautiful view of the water and very nice staff. Only downfall is I wish they have 2 bedroom rooms available. I believe they only have 1 family room.

Waffle irons were advertised in the breakfast photos and there weren't any. The complimentary water bottles in the room were already open The bathroom exhaust fan did not work The bathroom was advertised renovated but the room we received was dated The hot tub made me itchy There was a thin veneer of oil sitting on top of the cold pool It didn't seem like either the pool or hot tub have been cleaned in a while

The Pine Grove is conveniently located on the bay in Ephriam. Our room was very clean and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

Everything was fine- not great for the price charged. Since this was a special weekend I get the outrageous up charge. If you are going to charge over $300/night, maybe leave more than a bag of popcorn and two bottles of cheap water. But it was the only room available- I get that. But I have family in Fish Creek and come up often. Guess where I won’t be staying…
