They had the wrong room that we had booked for. They switched it to a another room , we went to the room and entered finding a woman coming out of the shower. Quite shocking. Went back to desk and told them situation and they gave us another room, once again went thru door only to find another guest in the room. So frustrated and angry went back to desk and once again gave us another room that was nice but initially had a king suite only to end up with a double suite. Very poor service and obviously not to safe. So make note to always lock your door at this location.

I booked through hotels.com and the form reverted back to the previous day, even though I'd originally chosen the correct day This meant when we arrived not only did they not have a room for us, but I got billed for our two rooms. The front desk clerk kindly got us a room at their sister hotel in Victoria, and we stayed there instead. All they had left at the second hotel were suites, which were a joke. The pull out bed had metal parts sticking up everywhere so you couldn't possibly lie on the bed. My son ended up putting the super thin mattress on the floor. The clerk at the first hotel gave me the name and number of the manager who runs both properties and suggested I call her to get a refund for the first night. I have tried calling 8 times, and she is always "in a meeting" when they ask who is calling. This is without a doubt the worst customer service ever, and the GM should be cleaning toilets not running two hotels. The contrast with our stay at the Holiday Inn in West Vancouver is startling. They were courteous, professional and I would highly recommend. Stay away!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Colwood. We were a group of 5 adults and they had a room large enough to accommodate us! We opted for the room with an extra sink but there were other rooms without the sink for less. The room was clean, as were the public areas. The location is convenient to Victoria as well as Langford and Mechosin. Adjacent to the Old Island Highway and minutes away from the Trans Canada Highway. There is a good restaurant and pub next door but not many other restaurants and services within an easy walk.

Overall this hotel is good, clean, breakfast has a lot of choices, parking is free. Coffee machine does not work and reported to front desk when checked out, hope it can be fixed/replaced for the next customer.

It was great for the one night stay. Loved the breakfast!!! It was a great family hotel. Could definitely use a hottub. I honestly liked it, but wouldn't stay there for a relaxing vacation. But for what i had to do it was great. Clean, good service. I know you were busy as it was a long weekend. Thankyou for your services

Everything's was excellent, except for the breakfast choices. It was good, there was no bacon or hashbrowns, I was looking forward to both. The staff were excellent, very helpful. I love staying at this hotel when I come to visit

The property was great, clean and sufficient. The free breakfast was a great idea and very much appreciated however on some days they were very limited items ie the hashbrowns. The scrambled eggs were awful, not such if they were carton powdered eggs or what but they were pretty bad

Safe, new, clean, parking was okay. Pool was small. Gym looked adequate. As far as cleanliness and room setup was brand new and great. Staff was great. Only non fast food restaurant nearby was a pub style that was good but not open late night. Many fast food and c-stores nearby

Great hotel, great staff and location. Walking distance to the casino if you are looking for something too do. Actual dishes for the breakfast. Love to see this over the usual plastic/styrofoam.

I love that they now allow pets and am so grateful for that. We're in the middle of moving so the hotel was the only option at the time. Everything was fine when we got there, but after I put 2 of my girls in the bath and started to unpack/settle, another family opened the door and almost walked right in, almost letting my dog out. We then got a call saying they gave us the wrong room, so we had to repack and get the kids dressed and out again. We got to our new room and it was fine except for the top latch/lock on the door didn't work. But the staff in the morning was very kind and considerate. We were coming downstairs for breakfast, found out they had just shut down but the staff asked and they allowed my family to grab some breakfast quickly.

Breakfast offered is just fine. The staff I encountered were pleasant- especially in the breakfast room and housekeeping (same girl). The pool was cloudy and needed attention. They certainly need more than one elevator. No bottled water offered in the room. Kurig coffee machine was great! Thought it was expensive for a midrange hotel.

The property is pretty good like any other Holiday Inn. The only thing I wished if they had smart tv or some better channels while we were in room and winding down. Breakfast is decent with lotta sugary pastries. Swimming is small but water was warm. Overall I enjoyed the stay
