The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere.

This is simply a great place. Rustic feel, but modern and clean and fun. Picnic area out back along the Mad River with WiFi access was one of the highlights of our week long visit too Vermont.

The room was small, but the space was very well used and super cute! Lovely decorated, it had a queen and twin beds that were very comfortable. It even had a full lenght mirror, refrigerator and closet with additional pillows. Free parking in front of the room was convenient. There was free coffee and tea at the office, and snacks and beverages for purchase. Lodge grounds are very pretty and well maintained, with the Mad River nearby and accessible. The area is quiet and has many places to eat that you can get to in a few minutes. The only issue we had is that we couldn’t open the room with the instructions we were given, but we went back to the office and help was provided inmediately. We definitely recommend it.

The Warren Lodge would text me about our upcoming trip. It was self check in. Which was great. We were going to be arriving late. The Lodge texts were personable and to the point. Check in and out were easy. They sent things to do in the area. Places to eat. It was very well organized.

the rooms are spacious, rustic, and well kept. The beds are updated but too low to the floor for this old lady with bad knees. We loved the babbling river flowing behind the room.

Our only concern with the property was the strong moldy smell in our room and the thick mold growth on the window frame. Not healthy for people with mold allergies.

The shower is very, very small and the pull out couch is also very small and very uncomfortable. Really not suitable for more than 2 people. The location is good and the main bed is comfortable.

Stayed here while driving through the area. Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the shower was great. The thermostat didn't work as the heat didn't come on all night. There was a comforter provided int he room so that balanced out the lack of heat. Overall I'd stay again if in the area.

I enjoyed my quaint, comfortable, clean and quiet room. WL's location was perfect for me, as I wanted to be fairly close to both Stowe and Montpelier. It certainly met my needs for two days. there.

I cannot give a fair review of The Warren Lodge. We completed all steps to use the remote check-in and downloaded directions ahead of time. The communication pre check-in was great. Unfortunately the weather was not good (but still daylight) and the Lincoln Gap road from where we were (the seemingly only road, narrow and at one point dirt) was completely closed to Warren due to rain/ fog. According to locals this is a regular occurrence and why I am leaving the review. In order to re-route our trip we would have had to drive over an hour on unfamiliar roads in the dark/fog/rain to get to the Lodge. We are from Northern New England and used to back road driving but this was not safe. I would buy trip insurance or take a chance and not pre-book if you are planning to stay here.
