The place does need some updating. Staff are so friendly and will help you anytime you need it. Did see a roach in my bathroom. Overall it was just ok.

It was the most awesome place. 1950/60 motel on beach. Perfect place to do morning walks. 3 places to eat within .2 miles. Love the staff

Had a very great experience with colonial Shores. The staff was super nice, rooms and property were very clean. Across the street from the beach. Was a cheaper alternative place to stay in Panama City Beach. Will definitely come back.

This property is in need of a major overhaul. It’s obvious that the the owners try to maintain it but just barely. Worst feature was their internet. Most times it didn’t work and actually limited regular phone use when on.

Colonial Shores is clean and convenient. Lori was great to work with because we ended up staying an extra day and did not have to switch rooms. I like knowing that no one will be in my room while I am out. I didn’t mind taking out my own garbage and having the towel exchange. However, bring your own coffee and filters. I would definitely stay again.

Our reservation didn't make it from hotels.com to their book. So I was a bit paniced since we had driven down to Florida from Michigan during spring break. After a phone call, they were able to get us a room which looked just like the pictures of the room we reserved. It needed to be cleaned so they wouldn't let us in it for an hour and they wouldn't let us use a restroom which was frustrating because I REALLY had to go. We got in the room and it looked clean but smelled very musty.

The staff were very friendly and eager to please you. The units are on the older side but kept up fairly well. I will definitely stay here again as the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're short on money. Plus its right on the beach.

quick decision on a trip and pleasantly surprised on this find. Clean room, great location. Great value for this charm. Will be trying to stay there again soon.

It was an older building nothing fancy. I stayed 2 nights and had all l needed.Was not in room much just to watch a little tv and sleep.It had a wall ac unit which was loud and that was fine because it drowns out noise outside.And l sleep with fan for noise anyway.

We were pleasantly surprised with the ocean view and location of this property. The room had full refrigerator, sink, and stove. It was clean and taken care of. A nice quaint and quiet area. We would definitely stay here again!

First, the staff are wonderful. Everyone is helpful very friendly. If you are looking for a no frills place, this is it. We had a king room which included a separate bedroom, living space, and small kitchen. It was dated but very clean. The fixtures in the bathroom are old, and the shower head came to my nose. I am 5'8" and had to bend over backwards to rinse my hair. Would be nice if there was a detachable shower sprayer. The parking spaces are not marked, and it is a haphazard square gravel lot. Luckily, only a few room were taken. Not sure where everyone would park if it was full. We were in a corner room and were a little surprised when they put two families with lots of kids on either side of us. The doors to our rooms were literally a foot apart each. The two families kept their doors open and the kids ran from room to room right in front of our door. With so many vacant rooms, the management should have put these two groups in their own space instead of cramming everyone together. It was cold and windy so spent a lot of time in the room and the cable went out daily and frequently. If you have no expectations and can go with the flow, this place would be great budget friendly stay. We were a little disappointed and will spring for a pricier place on our next trip.

If you are looking for old Floridian type cottage that has been well maintained and clean, this is the perfect place. Comfortable bed, quiet a/c, access to the beach by crossing one quiet side street. Towels available on request daily. Dumpsters across the road for garbage. Would definitely return!

Good price for the location and size of unit. VERY friendly staff. Bed was relatively comfortable. Felt like there was a sunscreen film on the tile floor. Wish they had provided paper towels or a dish scrubber - had to go buy them so that we could cook/clean.

It was as promised for where I stayed and it was very very clean in the room. Staff was very attentive.
