I had to keep telling myself that I have stayed at worse, but the smell was awful. At first when we got here, the smell was so overpowering of chemicals and air freshener smell that I could taste it. When we returned to our hotel later, it smelled like someone was smoking cigarettes one after another throughout the night. I woke up at 3:30am to get some fresh air and considered sleeping in my car. Also, one of the mattresses in our room was unbelievably hard, so we switched to the other bed in our room, which thankfully was slightly better, but then one of us had to be in front of the air conditioner, which I believe is where the cigarette smoke musty smell was coming from. Breathing that in all night was making me anxious, so I got maybe a couple hours of sleep. I’m also glad that I had beach towels with to cover the pillows because they were so old and clumpy that I was nervous to put my face on them. All in all, I gave this place a 2 because, like I said, I have stayed at worse places. They also accept pets which was something a lot of places in the area did not allow and we were close to family that we were visiting.

I needed a place in this area to vist reletives.It was quite clean and comfterable.No pool or hot tub but it was cheap.The important qualitys were covered at a resonable price

The check in person was friendly, the room was spotless and in great condition. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay while traveling through.

It was only for sleeping while 4 wheeling up north.

This motel is great for a simple overnight or to stay while checking out all of the beautiful water falls in the area. The staff were fantastic and readily available to assist. It is an older style motel and being so, is somewhat outdated. It is very clean. It is very close to Dave's Falls and the downtown. I would stay here again.

They gave away our room so after driving 4.5 hrs there was nothing else available either BC of the air show

You do get what you paid for I guess. The room was very musty and dark. AC was on and sending out musty air. Location off the highway was fine. Parking was OK. No amenities. No restaurants nearby that were open. Shower was powerful but was made for a person 5' tall. Hit me mid-chest. Oh well, no bugs so I guess that is a positive.

Owners are very nice and the cleaning person was helpful. The motel itself is no frills, and some of the lights weren't working properly. But the room itself was fine and the location good for our needs.

The property was old and not updated. I stayed there 23 years ago and it seemed that nothing had changed. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean and comfortable. There were not enough blankets to keep me warm so I brought my own. You have to get the key from the convenience store near by as there is no front office. Also, you have to pay in advance and there is no refund for days you don't use if you book through EXPEDIA. EXPEDIA said there was only one room left so I paid for 3nights before I had my plans set. That was not true and I ended up paying for 2 nights that I didn't use. I recommend you call the property personally to make arrangements.

Everything was very nice and the owners/staff were very nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was very basic, but OK if you’re on the move.

The room it self was nice. Plenty of heat,beds were nice,the bathroom tub needed to be changed. all in all it was ok.

Think Motel 6 but fewer amenities- but it was priced accordingly. The property was the perfect distance to everything we wanted to see (fall colors and waterfalls of Marinette County) - HOWEVER, the description on expedia is not accurate- It says accepts pets for $10 per night- the owner said they don't usually accept pets but they would for $20 per night. It lists American breakfast- they don't have ANY breakfast- and you have to go to the gas station next door to check in and you apparently can also get coffee. You also have to go there to get ice. Expedias description says fridge and microwave upon request but each room has one of those. When checking - they were not welcoming. Upon checking out- i told them the description wasn't accurate and they may want to fix that to avoid future issues- instead they argued with me about what their "policies" were. Also during the peak of another covid way- neither of the owners wore Masks -and neither did their house cleaning staff. She was very very nice

Nothing to like here. Received a phone-call Friday evening around 5pm asking when I would be checking in. "Around 1030p", I said. "I won't be here.. (a strange and long pause)", she replies. "Okay, what would you like me to do? Aren't you supposed be there if it's a hotel?", I said. "Your key is in the lockbox and the code is ****. Goodbye.", she said.It took just about 20 minutes of driving around (it was 5° outside) to locate the 'lockbox'. My friend I'm traveling with finds it on the front of the gas station entrance with the code already set to open.The next morning the woman played dumb and, further, never took herself off the phone with whoever she was speaking to (in Hindi).There are several local small motels and cabins that were not listed online that we ended up seeing everywhere in this area. Would likely be best to try and find a local Facebook ad for one of those. AirBnB was an option for us too but we booked last minute.This stay was disgusting:from the beds, to the carpet, to the shower and sink in the bathroom, to the awful lighting and lack of privacy (that's correct, if someone wanted peek in your room while you're there or away - they can easily do it b/c the window-coverings are recessed and hardly adjustable. ).Honorable mention: worst memory was; the temperature was 45° and took about an hour to heat the room (both days). You're better off camping at a rest area.

I would love to tell you about my stay, but I didnt have one. I booked a room so we would have a bed to sleep in after a late night concert in Green Bay. I even said that we would be checking in late - like midnight - and was told it would be fine. Well guess what? They close at 11pm, so we couldnt check in (got there right at midnight). We ended up having to drive another two hours home, with a 9 year old, in pouring rain, dodging deer, half asleep,and am now out $75. Nowhere did it say there would be limited hours for checking in. I CHECKED BEFORE HAND and was told NO issues. Wont book there again.
