This was a great find. Located just across the street from the ocean and a short distance to Atlantic Ave Restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable and offered living area and small kitchen. Outside area provided seating and picnic table to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. Staff was great and available via text at any time.

This motel style accommodation is an older establishment. It’s nicely remodeled and very clean! keep in mind it has experienced share its wear and tear. That being said, it is well maintained by the staff whom are some of the nicest, most accommodating people I have had the pleasure to deal with. Immediate response time to any and all requests! The location and price cannot be beat in this area. We live 30 minutes away and know all the places to stay.

We very much enjoyed Dover House! Location couldn't be better - across from the beach, walkable to numerous shops and restaurants, and we always felt safe. The ocean was not swimable during our stay (end of March 2024), but the pool was perfect! Well maintained, plenty of space and never too crowded. Appreciated the beautiful landscaping around it too! Our unit was very nice and mostly updated. But extremely fancy by any means, but very nice. Bathroom could use more hooks to hang towels/swimwear, and as is typical, the sleeper sofa wasn't comfortable without lining an extra blanket underneath to cover the springs and level it out a bit. Overall great stay and great experience to the Delray Beach area!

Dover House exceeded our expectations! We picked the property for the great location right across the beach and steps from Atlantic Ave. Given the very reasonable price, I didn’t expect it to be so nice and well-maintained. The grounds are pristine and include grills and picnic tables for guest use. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. There are free beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to borrow. The unit was larger than expected, spotless and new-looking. All around a great stay! Highly recommended.

Location, location, location. Right across the street from the beach with several options for dining and shopping close by. The rooms are starting to show a little age. Dirty upholstery and worn upholstery. Two roaches were crawling in the room, which was somewhat disconcerting.

I will absolutely stay here again! The photos were good, but didn't do it quite justice, in my opinion. There is some rust on the doors and the updates in some cases are a little rough, but it was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful and so perfectly situated right across the street from the beautiful ocean. Staff were so responsive and helpful. My experience was such that I stayed an extra night! Can't wait to go back.

The location of the property is good if you are looking to explore the west palm beach. The property has a good view of the sunrise. The delray beach outside the property is probably not the best if you are looking to spend sometime in it. I would consider Hollywood or south Miami Beach. I would say the location is great only if you are looking for a calm and quiet place to stay. I preferred the price of staying in south Miami Beach better compared to Delray Beach.

Renovated, modern, very clean units. The beach is directly across the road and Atlantic Ave. shops and restaurants 30 seconds away. Virtual check-in/check-out system with immediate response by text. Exceptionally well run and maintained property.

This place is amazing, especially with little kids. It was slightly cheaper than the other hotels in delray, BUT also, it’s motel style so I don’t have to trek my sandy kids through a hotel lobby. ALSO, they have a whole room of sand toys and chairs. And they give you beach towels. You text with whatever you need and they are at your door in a minute. The place has a kitchen, perfect for kids. AND ITS DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BEACH and right next to restaurants. OH YEA, free parking as well. This place is a hidden gem. Let’s be honest, Kids are no fun to travel with, but this place made it easy. Will definitely be staying here every time we come to delray.

We loved our time at the Dover House. It is a very efficiently run property with cute little touches, such as monkeys tucked into the decor of the property. Staff is very quick in bringing towels or ice. We really loved that it was easy to have parking there and that we can just walk across the street and be on the beach. It doesn't get better than that. Actually, the view from outside of our room was so beautiful and we took a lot of photos of the beach and sky. My only request was that they update the maintenance of the bathrooms a bit. It's a lovely place to chill out and enjoy the beach. Definitely bring and use SUNBLOCK!!!! The UV is intense on the Delrey Beach. :) Also, there is a cute little shop for beachwear just on the corner that I recommend checking out.

This is our second time staying here. The service they provide is amazing. Need a towel, they are there quickly. Bed is comfortable. The staff is quick to take care of any issue from noise to getting you a extra blanket. We will definitely be back.
