Great place to stay and be secluded. Staff are very friendly, you need to get a boat too and from the resort but that is fun.

Not walkable. Not convenient despite times transfers. I’m so glad I only booked two nights. I drove my self crazy with the lack of comprehension. English or Tagalog it doesn’t matter. These ppl saw money first

Very inconvenient to get around. Some of the staff weren’t very nice.

Booked this hotel on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to see it was much more private than Coron Town Proper. Only hiccup was that there was only one boatman at the time, and missed us in the last pickup to the hotel. They were very helpful in getting us to and from the island, providing hotel shuttle service (private).
Great tours too, and loved the pier and floating villas.

Quite place to stay.food prices are expensive and no other interesting things to do at night in the island.

If youre staying in Coron, might as well stay on an island resort like this. We understood that staying here we wouldnt have options for restaurants but we were very pleased with the hotel restaurants menu and food quality. Great cooking. In fact we found that we were better off eating at the hotel than going to town looking for meals. Access is also easy, they have their own designated boat that comes every hour to take you to town or to pick you up from town. The employees are all really nice. Great views as well, its a quiet and peaceful resort.

I liked the view, the pools, and the staff. It was very relaxing and the view of the nearby islands was exquisite all day round. I also like that they routinely have our rooms cleaned and scan the pools for leaves. Just one suggestion: I just think that - since their restaurant is the only one in the resort - it would be good to expand the menu in the future.

the photos do not look like reality. lots of insects. food is bad. however, we appreciated that they did an effort to satisfy us after complaining. the stay was ok but i would not advise it for a couple, especially if honeymooners

Not even close to a three star hotel. Maybe 1.5. Rooms are extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. Service was good

I have NO IDEA how this place has such positive reviews. First off, it looks nothing like the pictures. The place is eerily empty and quite rundown. It says both online and on the form you sign that there is boat service shuttling hotel guests back and forth to town until 10:45pm - but they have changed ownership and this service now ends at 6PM!!

We were disappointed. Coming from Coron town proper, they only provide shuttle up to 6 pm. Since we did island hopping everyday, we had no choice but to eat in their restaurant. There were limited choices with the food and the price was expensive for a hotel in their caliber. The service was poor. You have to draw the server’s attention every time. We booked two rooms and the first night the cover of the air conditioner fell and almost hit my sister

I like that they offered free kayak. I wish they had a gym.

Location is uniquely isolated but accessible at the same time... a short 12 minute light boat ride from dock to hotel. Can watch sunrise and sunset from the hotel property.Staff are very hospitable... from the boatmen (forgot their names) Jayne at reception to the amazing restaurant/bar staff Matt, Carlo, Wheng, Victor as well as the extremely quiet Housekeeping staff. And the new OIC so courteous and helpful.Coldest beers in Philippines GUARANTEED!Property requires a fair amount of cosmetic facilities work, bathrooms need a bit of updating, bedroom mattresses could be softer, more hotel quality.AC very goodThe 3 pools are amazing... infinity views from all and right on the water. The amazing coral garden u see the end of the pier is incredible... untouched, swimming distance from the beach, saw a dugong, starfish, giant clams, myriad of fish species... definitely should be mentioned in their marketing more.

Very quiet place since we are in an island. This is still a tropical country so we expected a few bugs but nothing we didn't expect. The place is very comfortable.

My stay at the CUGR was disappointing. While the room was clean and renovated, everything else was very basic, like a motel. The pool areas were uninviting and had no shade or staff coming to offer food or drinks. Speaking of, the food selection was dismal, especially for a vegetarian. The views even were not of the turquoise waters and white sand that we want to see when in coron! I felt stuck on the island and regretted my stay.

We thought the hotel has alot of potential, beautiful grounds, lovely pools, very peaceful etc, but a few things holding it back from being the hotel you expect for the price. For example, the staff in the restaurant seem lazy and unhelpful, and the kitchen is definitely understaffed, as one day for lunch it took 1 and a half hours to get our lunch. The included breakfast is nice, the pancakes are lovely, but you only get one. No teabags so tea lovers bring your own! Nice pool, but the fresh water pool could do with a clean. Our room was comfortable, but it lacked a few things,eg the complimentary water and toiletries were not refilled in the 3 days. The hotel was generally clean but our bathroom was a little grubby, and it's annoying how the shower gets the whole bathroom wet. Good points about the hotel is that you can borrow pool towels free of charge, they give you a nice welcome drink on arrival and the beautiful grounds. The boat service that takes you to and from Coron town proper is very good, and runs up until 10:45pm. The two men who work on this boat are lovely. I appreciate thatyou can pay alot more for the 'island hotel' experience, and this is a relatively budget hotel for a similar experience, but we found that in cheaper places we have received much better customer service, bathroom facilities and restaurants. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Service was the worst I experienced in the Philippines. Staff seemed disinterested. I ordered a vegetarian omelette. It took 45 minutes to arrived and when it did it was a ham and cheese omelette. Which was appealing considering I don’t eat meat. Food and drink at the resort was overpriced. You have to request room cleaning as nothing is standard

The good:
- Many things to do like kayaking or board games
- Really nice location with free boat service into town
- Infinity pools, nice facilities
Can be better:
- Food. Hard rice mixed with normal, probably they cooked rice once and used it for a few days.
- Drinks. From the around 4 drinks our group ordered they used non fizzy Coca Cola two times = not tasty drink at all. They don't use screw bottles but still keep old cans open and reuse them until empty.
- Breakfast. No water/juice for breakfast, only tea/coffee.
- Hard beds.
- Many staff with time but still 15 beer cans and things stayed around the pool area more than 24 hours from a group that had a party there.
Overall it's still a really good place if you don't mind the hard beds and try to eat in town.

Everything was good from the hotel except the colors of the hotel! They’re too colorful almost like preschool colors :( I would’ve love to ser more rustic style and colors for the hotel!
