I've stayed at the HGI since the year it opened. I loves the people that work there, always nice and efficient. However, it is starting to show its age. Linens need updating as well as mattresses. Still a great place in a great area with amazingly friendly people!

Cleanliness is not its strongest... They have signs everywhere about "sanitized" and it just remarks the evidence that it's not even clean. AC grids full of dust and sofas with stains. Sometimes there was a smell of drainage in the hallways. The cleaning personnel does a decent job but its evidente that a professional cleaning and maintenance has to be done more frequently.

Great hotel. Has become my family's go-to for several years now whenever we're in Puebla. Great staff, very helpful (let us in to our rooms several hours early due to travel with elderly family member!) and incredibly clean installations. Breakfast is also very good. Pool is nice, can be a bit windy up there but no complaints!
