Took us 20 minutes to gain entry to the hotel on arrival at 11.15pm as staff were asleep. Reception guy had no idea of our booking as was unable to reboot his computer. He eventually rang his manager and we were assigned a room some 50 minutes after arriving. Breakfast is continental but only consisted of omelette and toast, pancakes not available oh and fruit on the odd occasion which becomes tiresome after 1 week. There is one sunbed around the pool which is old and no umbrellas. Only had 1 meal in the 2 weeks which was delicious but order way before your ready to eat. Room was spacious, had to ask for toilet roll a couple of times and a towel. Lovely quiet area with nice views down to Accra. Noone on reception to check out with or to help with cases and open the gate. Staff quietly pleasant but only talked if spoken to, Customer service not quite there but hotel is perfect for those staying for a couple of nights in peaceful surroundings.

Decent stay. Breakfast could be better. Tv didn’t work in room. No other alternative was given. Lavatory water had brown tint. Hotel security needs to improve..they allowed an uninvited guest to linger around the property until I came out my room. I made it clear I wasn’t expecting a guest, but the lady insisted I come downstairs to acknowledge the individual. I did not like that one but. Other than that it wasn’t terrible.

Didn’t meet our expectations at all. Not worth the price! No functional standby generators. Upon arrival, the room wasn’t well cleaned, same for the bathroom. There were mosquitoes in the room as well. The pool a dirty, looks like the water hadn’t been changed in a long time. We suffered power outages at least 4 times and we had to just go out rather than stay in the heat. The annoying thing is, there was no communication whatsoever from the staff or hotel management. We had to pester them with calls just to find out what they were doing about the situation. From outside it looks 5 star, nice & plush but once you’re there It’s not even a 2!

Great customer service from the staff. The property has a lot of work to do when it comes to the facilities and amenities. The water pressure was terrible, barely any water coming out, then eventually it stopped for a whole day. There was no water. Old rooms with barely any renovations.

The staff at the hotel is very nice, polite and friendly. The location is very good with a beautiful view from the mountains. Overall the hotel was clean and in a good condition. Breakfast could have a bit more variety.

The room was very cozy and the view was amazing. You’d have to buy your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast was okay...I’ve had better in other hotels. Overall it was okay. It would be nice if they could come clean the room every other morning if you were spending more than a night. The most annoying thing is the network there. It’s bad. It’s not their fault but I think it’ll help you if you know what you’re going to meet. Thank you.

I was only at the property for a short couple of hours. Transferred to the property in Dzorwulu. Impressed with both, especially the one in McCarthy Hills!

I would not reccommend for Americans if they dont get new beds, update and do repairs. Keep restaurant and bar open later. Manager and help were noce and helpful. Just didnt work for us!

The hotel was clean and my room was clean. The amenities listed by the hotel were not as described. For example they did not provide free bottle water, free toiletries, no hair dryer in the room, no iron/ironing board in the room or free, no in-room safe, the shower had cold and cool water only...no warm or hot water. There was no airport shuttle and was told my staff to hire a taxi. There is no elevator and my room was on the second floor of the hotel. My room was not cleaned daily until I said something to the owner about it. The daily rate was reasonable, the staff were friendly and did speak English.

I will divide my opinion into Pros and Cons Pros Fantastic Location and Very Quiet Issues were addressed ASAP Room was spacious and I loved the hillside scenery Cons The staff rarely spoke except you engaged them which I felt was strange. The gym was very poor and needs an overhaul The pool was not accessible which I wasn't happy with Ants observed in the bathroom though they were not an issue
