It advertised air conditioning (climatisation) there was NONE. Also, the wifi has a block on it that makes it virtually impossible to access most sites without a VPN. The staff were polite, but barged into our room SEVERAL times without knocking, even when there was a sign on the door. They only stopped doing so once they walked in on me in the shower.

Standard Ibis hotel, nothing fancy. About 7 min walk from train station. Receptionist lady not too friendly nor helpful.

Great stay - have stayed here a couple of times now as it works for us driving to Spain as an overnight stop. The hotel is basic but clean and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. Good to have onsite secure parking that is cheaper than the nearby car parks (but vehicle has to be less than 1.8m high. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Will definitely stay here again.

Very basic room, no extras, as expected, but functional and comfortable. Quite close to train station, which was why we chose it. We had the breakfast the first morning, and didn't find it worth the price. Second stay there the internet was not working the whole 2 days we were there. Staff was nice.

Reception was poor: we were told parking was available but on arrival told our car, a saloon, was too big. Told free parking was available, but used a metre in the end. Very basic services - even for budget, but at €70 per night - disappointing.

Staff were lovely and very helpful especially Sophie on reception. The bathroom needed a bit of TLC but the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a great location.

For a budget hotel it was good, staff helpful, room comfortable and air con holding up despite not being brilliant and being 38 in the day time. The breakfast was ok, just about good value. Overall recommend as a pit stop.

The family room was good. The bathroom was large, with shower and a bath, but the shower curtain wasn't adequate and we discovered the bathroom floor to be very wet. The car park is secure, but is a real hassle to drive into, and on the top of the exit ramp scratched the under side of my car which was not good. It made an awful noise and I thought the car was ruined, but it's a deep scratch - really this needs a warning sign. We stayed one night and the room was good. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the busy centre of the city.

Amazing hotel. Budget in nature but exceptionally friendly staff always willing to help. The breakfast is ok but a little over-priced. I also used the brasserie in the Ibis hotel opposite for one evening for an excellent cheap meal, and also recommend Le Vietnam opposite the station for excellent food!

Perfect for a budget stay. 3 min walk to station/tram stop.comfy clean room and an adequate continental breakfast every day - trains to Paris in just over an hour plus just 20 mins to beautiful Amboise.

We had issues since the check-in when the receptionist got confused with their booking system and cancelled part of my prepaid booking. Unfortunately, the cleaning was the worst! I noticed the room wasn’t being cleaned properly (or at all) as I could see the dirt from the previous day untouched! They clearly didn’t clean the floor since we could feel the dirt when walking barefoot. The reception, again, couldn’t do anything until the next morning and I couldn’t leave it the way it was as it would start to be unsafe for my children. I had to pick up a broom and dust bin at the reception and clean it myself that night. It is outrageous that I’d find myself cleaning a room I paid for in the middle of my family vacation. Reception mentioned they left a note for the cleaning crew to give extra attention to my room and the very next day the towels weren’t changed, and the floor wasn’t cleaned. Other than the beds, the rest was the same as the day before. I made a complaint about the cleaning (again) and the excuse was that they were short on staff and had to hire a new company that wasn’t doing a good job. I had no reply to my complaints from no one, not even an apology from the manager by the time I checked out. The room was on the train mainline side, and we could clearly hear all the trains that passed by. It even startled my children a few times.Up to this moment, I´m waiting for reply from IBIS HOTEL about the complaints that I made directly at the recepcion

This hotel is located next to Tours railway station. The neighbourhood is very modern and clean. I felt very safe outside. All the interesting places of Tours are in walking distance ( tourist office, cathedral, Vieux Tours, the Loire river, ...). The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was very modern and clean, equipped with A/C and a large flat-screen TV. Overall: good value for money.

I had difficulty getting on the property as the gate was locked and I wasn’t provided a password in my reservation. I tried using the booking confirmation but that didn’t work. I had to wait for another customer to get through the gate and only then was I able to check in. This was a 10 minute wait. Otherwise the stay was fine.

Nice little spot for a stop over. Easy to access and leave the City for onward journeys. Car parking was safe and secure underground, be sure to ask for access code at reception.

Room far too hot as could not open the window more than 20 cm. The air conditioning did not work. The shower was loose and the tray filled up far too quickly for the water to empty.Although the reception staff was friendly could not find anyone to ask for help when needed. They were obviously rushed off their feet looking after guests.

Very friendly staff, especially Alexander. Good secure underground car park. Clean rooms, comfy bed what more could you ask. The only thing is the slightly iffy air con very hit and miss glad I had my own fan.
