It’s a MOTEL. Don’t expect anything different just because of the update fixtures. Cute furniture doesn’t mean much when the floor is filthy and sheets are dirty.

Hotel was updated. Room was nice but would recommend bringing your own pillows because the ones they provide are pretty flat. Staff was friendly. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again.

Such a great stuff as soon as we checked in they were attentive and willing to allow us to check in mildly early. Rooms looked adequate for what we paid. I would definitely go back again!!!

Good location. Large space. Unfortunately not clean. The towels provided were dirty and stained and covered in curly hairs. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The shower and sink were not clean. I believe people are getting access to the key code and using the rooms in between guest stays. There were random people around the hotel pretending to be staff. I am uncertain if these people are living in the hotel or if they are friends with an employee but there wasn’t any clear definition between who was staff and who were not staff. Everyone looked unprofessional but they were all very polite. I saw someone go into my room while I was leaving and they came out to my car to hand me something I had left. It was all very strange and as a woman traveling on my own I didn’t feel like asking questions.

Hate to be this person because I’m very understanding with everything I come across. This hotel was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Looking through the pictures, the motel doesn’t look bad, and looks updated which I liked. The lady at the front desk was really nice and overall staff was amazing! We got into our room, and checked the corners of the bed as I do in any hotel/motel I stay in. It looked clean, so we decided to leave our stuff in there and go get some dinner. Came back, and just as we were getting in bed, we noticed the top flat sheet and the fitted sheet were visibly dirty towards the bottom with blood stains. Took everything off the bed, and more blood stains. Flipped the pillows over, and more blood stains. My partner got up from the bed, and there was a full grown lice bug on the bed crawling around. We killed it and started to gather our stuff. We looked down, and there were multiple bugs on the actual floor including cockroaches. Aside from that, there were old poop stains when flipping the toilet lid up, dirty towels that had poop stains and shoe markings on them. We gathered our stuff and tried to contact the office but it was closed. There were cockroaches crawling around outside, and the area was very sketchy with a lot night action. Avoid this place if can.

I ended up getting a new hotel as soon as I got there. I didn’t stay more than 15 minutes. It was a cash only motel which is shady. There were people directly outside of my window the whole 15 minutes. The locks on the doors weren’t safe. The main office was locked so I had to stand outside while people were eyeing me up and down and I was just trying to check in. Not worth the money and now I’m annoyed I had to pay $533 for an emergency hotel somewhere else.

This was a real cute and cozy Motel, with Boutique Hotel vibes. My room was quiet, comfy and beautifully decorated. Close to downtown, great restaurants, shopping and sightseeing! I would definitely stay here again!

The pictures are deceptive. It’s updated but is done very poorly. Rooms smell of smoke, sketchy feel overall. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. It had other people’s hair and opened soap. Felt disgusting. Location is good. Close to restaurants

The renovations they've done here are ok, that's about all that's good. There are live in residents in the building, a few of them look like crack heads, with smashed up cars in the parking lot. I understand that this is downtown Colo Springs but if I was a female I wouldn't feel safe being here- also someone knew my door code and entered my room at 7:45am. Bring a gun or don't stay here.

Definitely not what the pictures showed. Staff was great. Got moneys worth...but didnt like location and comings and goings of some of the other residents...including having cops called. Would not bring my children here.

Nothing good to share about the property besides the empathy from the host. It’s unbelievable that Expedia has a high rating for this place given it’s so bad. You don’t feel safe there at all, and on top of that, my bed was broke.

We were in town to see a comedian perform nearby. This place was Central to everywhere we needed to be on our trip, clean, safe, newly renovated and updated. Owners were nice and would stay here again. Price is on the money.

Really great refurbished property! Right downtown and you can walk to Main Street! Would definitely stay again for the price and location! Front desk staff were very nice and had donuts and coffee in the morning for guests.

Phone had no dial tone, no blackout curtains. Our 2nd night consisted of virtually no sleep as there was yelling and slamming doors around 3AM. The ice machine was located on level 2, with no signage and in a laundry room in a corner, when I opened the only door available I didn’t even see the tiny machine. I started to go back to my room but decided to take another look.

The staff was very nice and willing to help. They made all efforts to send codes to make getting into the room a breeze since the office isnt open pass 10. Yes it is an older property but clean.

I was intrigued with the idea of an updated and refurbished motel, sort of a “Schitts Creek” experience. But a coat of paint and updated lamps does not a “refurbished motel” make. I should’ve known this wouldn’t be comfortable for $50 a night, but I ended up abandoning the reservation and staying elsewhere. The pillows were super thin, the window wasn’t properly sealed so you could hear all the noise from the shady characters wandering around outside, the blinds didn’t fully fit the window, so there was a 3” gap that anyone could see into from outside. There was a floodlight right outside the door that showed brightly into the room, making sleep nearly impossible. The bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned (there was a blue streak of the previous guests shampoo(?) dripping down the tile) and they don’t use any keys, so if you happen to forget to set the deadbolt inside (maybe your kid came in from outside) anyone can just open the door.

Room Decor is nice but gives kinda run down room vibes still. Can hear People outside talking and doors slamming. Really sketchy at night… People hanging out in the parking lot, standing outside watching other people… We listened to someone outside laughing super creepy and loud. The 2 women staff was nice but the guy was kinda an a-hole. room was cheap which was convenient you kinda get what u pay for here.

Good value for the price - unit is renovated but not to the highest quality. But again the price is right. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was definitely a good experience for a motel.
