Friendly staff, convenient location, easy to find.

The location is close to a very nice beach and the town is a short drive or robust walk. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable. Overall a good experience and value.

Hotel Cyrnea reception staff was very friendly and gave us a lots useful information about Calvi.our room was clean and quiet with fantastic view to mountain..Hotel is bit faraway from the centre part of town, but about 20 minutes walk is not problem.Part of the reason we have chosen the hotel is parking space.

Good location opposite the beach and able to walk into Calvi centre. Easy to find and park, friendly helpful staff.

Pleasant, very clean and comfortable, extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice swimming pool, good breakfast, close to great beach, restaurants and supermarket. Only downside, the walk to Calvi old town is rather long (2km) and the road is busy and noisy.

Traditional hotel, within walking distance of Calvi. Good parking, lovely pool and wonderful staff. Good size rooms with very modern bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent hotel on outskirts of Calvi with free parking. It takes 20 minutes to walk into town for restaurants (some closer) or half an hour to the Citadel( recommended). No free parking in Calvi otherwise. Owner speaks excellent English.and kindly reprinted our flight boarding passes which had got wet & bar code illegible during a GR20 day walk, Room & facilities very nice & clean. We bought breakfasts extra for 7 euros each a day which was good, cereal, yoghurt, breads , croissants and jams tea or coffee.

Good location if needing an overnight stay. Easy walk to restaurants on beach, although some way out of town itself. New lift being installed when we were there, May. Very helpful staff with some English spoken.

I had a very pleasant 2-nt stay in early May at this this family-run hotel located outside the main area of Calvi which is easily accessible by foot. The distance seemed much shorter walking along the beach. Casino Supermarket & gas station nearby, along with cafes & restaurants all the way to the main the train station (there is one much closer to the hotel). It may seem like you are in the middle of nowhere when you pass the nearby campgrounds but you get used to the distance. I scored a big 3-bed room with a massive bathroom & balcony facing the main road. I didn't have breakfast but could smell that there were hot items on offer. There is ample parking & swimming pool which I never saw anyone use but noticed it was maintained daily. I never had any issues with the wifi and the staff at Cyrnea were incredibly kind. Pierre was a doll and did his best to help me figure things out. I was traveling alone during shoulder season and found that info/services I needed were not often readily available. He spoke English perfectly. During the slow-ish season meant getting a taxi after 8pm on a weekend was impossible, but the distance to anything you will need is not far. Calvi was very safe and walking along the main road at night alone as a woman is nothing to fear, in fact it led to some pretty fun times!

For visitors with rental cars (the preferred choice for those who want to see/do a lot since public transportation on the island is poor) this place is in a convenient location between town and airport, has lots of free on-site parking too. Without the tight traffic in town (which is easy walk from hotel). And you can stroll to the beach where there are 2 nice restaurants. Rooms and baths are large for a European hotel in this price range. Clean and bright with decent beds, nice balconies. On a sunny day the poolside deck is gorgeous if you want to laze around after sighteeing (but BYOB since the hotel doesnt have a bar). The hotel seems to be in the process of remodel and upgrade, so there were issues like awaiting the new elevator (if you dont want to shlep luggage up stairs, better get a first floor room for now), and installation of the new shower curtains, soap dishes, and other minor fixtures would really help! I stayed towards the end of the off season so hopefully all will be shipshape by summer. It also helps to be able to speak French since there was only one person on staff (a very helpful gentleman) who had any command of English. Address any matters requiring staff assistance during the day since there is no night clerk on duty. As I said, this is the sort of place for the independent traveler who can hit the ground running and doesnt need a lot of hand-holding. I wouldnt mind staying again once the upgrades are done.

Had a great stay. The hotel is clean, close to the beach. Had a nice view of the mountains from our room. Breakfast included. Very friendly staff!

Cyrnea Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Cavi if you're doing a road trip in Corsica. We stayed 4 nights to visit Calvi and I'lle Rousse area and this Hotel is located close to the beach, not far from the city center and very near the main roads to move around the area. The hotel is in renovation so you could find a very nice and modern bathroom, but no lift, no comfortable bed and no new wardrobe. In any case we suggest this location for 3-4 nights in Calvi! Last but not least we think the breakfast was very scant, with not enoght choice and only the typical "petit dejeuner" menu.
