The hotel staff are very nice and friendly- they helped us with all our enquiries even allowed us to change rooms when i requested a bigger room- restaurant staff are very nice and there is a nice view for breakfast
The rooms were alright - clean but quite basic
Hotel has no lift and we were on the top floor which was quite tiring - there is no private parking you park at the bottom and they you have to go up 3 flight of stairs to get to the hotel which is not good when you have luggage or tired -
Location wise you are in the medina and near the port but there is a lot of beggers around here

The staff are very sweet. Extremely accommodating. Its in the old town, you have to climb several steps, please request the taxi driver to drop you at the inter continental hotel and from there you can use the ramp to get to the hotel.

Only stayed one night. Decent room, excellent service. Friendly staff, bellboy carried my bag to room and to taxi after check out. Hotel is in the Medina so it was a several minute walk out to the street. Complementary tea upon arrival. Satisfied with my stay.

The staff all of them amazing every time u in or out they invite u with free cup of tea they even put me bottle of water and some fruit in my room twice free. Also hotel got a phenomenal view in the rest right on the tipi can not complain

I wouldn't be fooled by the review that called the single room in this hotel "fabulous", the reviewer may have been influenced by a low room price of the moment.
The single room is so small you can barely swing a cat. Stingy as well providing only one small towel, no bath mat, only a smidgen of soap, no cup of any sort for brushing teeth no hangers in the closet and with the pungent smell of bleach noticeable upon entering.
Now I will say, after complaining to the front desk about all of this, they brought up a small fruit plate, a bottle of water and a small glass for teeth brushing.
So if you are on a budget, this might be a good choice for you but it's far from fabulous.
On a positive note the staff are friendly and courteous and appear to be concerned about the comfort of their guests.
I have stayed here in the past and have noticed a level of stinginess that wasn't as obvious before.
So, I would stay here only if I had to because it isn't my first choice.
Also if you are a solo woman traveler, you might not want to venture out after dark as the street, or alleyway this hotel is located on is crawling with drug dealers and users, aggressive pan handlers and women of the night.
It is in the middle of the petite socco and close to a coiple of popular cafes and the old medina and souks. That might be of interest to some visitors
Oh by the way, the breakfast which is included with your room is not very good especially when compared to other hotels in the area.

We loved this place: a warm welcome, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for you, a clean room with comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast with views looking out over Tangier, all within easy walking distance of the old town. The hotel restaurant was excellent too and we had the best tagine of the whole stay there. I really can't fault this place - thoroughly recommended.

The Mamora Bay Hotel is located in the medina, with it's lively atmosphere, and is conveniently close to the ferry port. The hotel has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and the staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.

The hotel is located in the Tangier medina. The front desk is open 24 hours. The staff is very kind, welcoming and polite. The lobby area is nicely designed. The free WiFi connection works very well. The room is comfortable. The view from the restaurant at 3rd floor is wonderful. The breakfast is good. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money.

This was my second stay at Mamora. The staff friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant excillent. The chicken tagine delicious. I was also lucky to get the same room as last time when I stayed here. This made me feel like coming home. The hotel is situated in the medina and everything you need is close by. 2 doors from the hotel you can buy Moroccon SIM-card or reload, which I find very convinient. Also a small grocery-kiosk close to the hotel where you can buy water. A big thank you to everyone in the staff who made me feel like coming home. I will be back.

Get dropped off at the port side!! The walk is much easier to get to the hotel. We definitely had our doubts about this hotel when walking to it because of the neighborhood, but it is very lively and in the old Medina. The staff is very helpful, especially Tarik, as they carry your luggage for you and arrange taxis to take you around. There aren’t elevators and it’s old fashioned, but it’s kept relatively clean. The view at the restaurant on top is nice.

Location in the Medina/old city quite far from the beach. Took us 30 mins to walk to the beach - not a good option for families in the Aug heat. However, quite close to the main square, bazaar/shopping areas.
Breakfast was traditional Morroccan and served fresh. Enjoyed the breakfast with family.
3 flights of stairs to go to the suite room - as there are no lifts. Great view of the bay from the terrace/breakfast area(not from the room).
Friendly staff, ready to help. Staff at reception helped arrange for day's sightseeing & transfer to Rabat, although at an expensive amount of 2400 MAD, with a non-English speaking driver.

We had a great time at Mamora Bay!
The location is perfect : easily accessible and well located within the medina. The staff is amazing : very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Our room (Family room) was comfortable and clean.
The wifi was a bit weak within the room, but good in the corridor. Our room was on the third floor, which is a bit noisy as it was next to the restaurant.
All in all, we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy Tanger a bit more! Definitely recommend 10/10!

Amazing experience. Beautiful city, friendly locals, wonderful food. The hotel is located in the old city facing the marina. Easy and convenient access to historical site, the soil or as they call the kasbah.
Friendly staff. Especially Tariq, Abdul Aziz and Esmail. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

Just located in between Madina and port , best location . Not easy to find if it is your first time in Morocco . Our flight was delayed and arrived in midnight . the reception staff is very friendly and help us ordered shuttle service and asked a helper picked up us in the road which make our trip is much smoothly and easier. We appreciate their help and all suggestions . The breakfast area on third floor , you can enjoy breakfast and same time enjoy the beautiful view .

The hotel was very gorgeous inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged our transportation from the Tangier Med Port which is 1 hr away. We arrived after midnight and they were still waiting for us with greetings. Breakfast was very good and included with the price.

Great place to stay in Tangier, right in the heart of everything. Will stay here again when we return. Hotel staff is very friendly - Tarek (English-speaking) and Ismael (Spanish-speaking) at the front desk were especially helpful. The breakfast is outstanding-varied, tasty, and filling in an area with a great view. The kitchen staff is likewise very friendly. Unless you are familiar with Tangier, book a taxi through the hotel for 25euro, as taxis cannot go all the way to the hotel door and the hotel will send someone to meet you and walk up with your bags. They will welcome you with some tea during check-in. You do need to be aware that there is not an elevator, if you have any mobility issues. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a quadruple room (two adults and two teenagers). Space is good, but only one bathroom. A couple of minor issues with the shower were instantly resolved by staff. The hotel has a nice, classy atmosphere dating back to its earlier years and was appropriately priced. The staff helped arrange drivers for us to tour the places we wanted to go, and the process was seamless. The price was agreed upon in advance and there were no issues. On our last day we arranged for the driver to take us to Tetuon with our bags and then at the end were dropped off at the airport- far more convenient than returning to the hotel. In sum, very highly recommend.

The first thing as we walk through the door we were greeted with the smile serve cookies in tea the services amazing five stars we felt like we were at home in the center close to everything the AC certainly was refreshing at the end of the day and the breakfast that is included is just Devine love the fresh olives daily! And delicious bread!

This hotel is the best. I was supposed to stay here for 4 nights but I booked 3 more. Yosin greated me with a smile at the breakfast every morning. The ladies in the kitchen made tasty food. The best couscous in town. ❤️ The reception fantastic and the portier took hand of my big bag. Aziz kindly walked me out from the medina and waited with me so I got a taxi tve day I left the hotel. I will be back here next time I am in Tangier.
