The most deceiving hotel experience: the room was without blinds or airco (too dry air), strong old odour, poor breakfast and no room service or food in the evening. Also hotel tried to charge extra 50(!)euro for a child bed which was included in the booking price and offered no apologies when the issue was finally settled… poor service for a wonderful location with great views

We arrived from a 10 hour flight, then travelling by car another 2 hours to the hotel-only t be met with staff, not flexible enough to check us in 1 hour early-although the hotel did not appear overly busy. Our stay in August was during the heat of summer, yet the hotel has no AC (ok, not every facility is equipped with AC), but a 50 euro fan (ventilator) can be placed in each unit to accommodate the guests. At 10pm guests are being advised to move off the large patio (a patio that provides a splendid view to the Wartburg castle-and the only reason why we selected this hotel over any other). Bar service stopped prior 10pm (acceptable), but being told to move inside is not.

We spent two nights in Eisenach. This hotel was convenient to Wartburg, which we wanted to tour. The internet was very poor in our room. The staff was somewhat underwhelming in their efforts to smooth things over for us. Likely would choose another hotel in the future, but if these issues aren't important to you, this is a nice, convenient place to stay.

LOVED this property! It was outstanding. It was a little hot, and GPS didn't like finding it (ended up using just the map), but it was worth it. Beautiful views, including of the Wartburg and great walking trails. Great staff, good food, and a royal experience.

Somewhat dated older institutional property located at the top of a hill above a town. Access to the room was a bit more difficult than anticipated as we had to lug suticases on a rather circuitous route to the back of the hotel complex. Overall a decent place for a one-night stay.

Very quiet location with a direct sight of Warburg castle from the terrace. The hotel is reached from downtown in 10-15 minutes by foot across an area with beautiful villas. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the excellent service of the staff. Our room was rather small, but very well equipped and super clean. The Corona rules are strictly adhered to.

This is hands down the BEST Place to stay in Eisenach! The cafe terrace has a direct view of the Wartburg Castle and it is easily accessible from the trail behind the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast ample. The room was quaint and very clean. Super value too! I will stay here again in the future!

Beautiful location and very peaceful setting. Amazing view of Wartburg Castle. The room was very comfortable and attractively furnished. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Ww also enjoyed dinner there. Price was very reasonable.

I only stayed for one short evening and my experience is brief. I stayed at the hotel during a storm so slept little but that is not the hotels fault. If you like a more oldy worldy hotel then this is for you. I bet it is very nice in the summer.

It’s older which was nice. The checkin was, I thought, chilled. It was close to 90 and there was NO ac. The restaurants were closed as well. Eh, I doubt I’d stay again. We’ve been in Germany and Austria for 10 days now and this was the most disappointing of all the hotels. Gorgeous area though.

Lovely hotel with superb facilities. A short. steep walk up from the town. Very peaceful and quiet location. Both the quality and the variety of breakfast exceeded all expectations - what an example to other hotels in this price range! It was an easy and relaxing walk up to the Wartburg from the hotel. Our hotel room was huge and had a comfortable bed, with a separate seating area. A wifi enabled tablet in the room was a nice gesture. Our only gripe was the lack of power points to charge the myriad of electronic devices we seem to carry with us nowadays. Car parking at the hotel wasn't easy, but we managed to find a gap after much searching.

I enjoyed my stay in a cozy hotel in a pretty location. the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was just right for the price. my room was clean and comfortable plus it had a nice view. overall I had a great experience and would stay there again. I give my recommendation.
