Excellent location! Walking distance to most iconic sites in Cuenca... Public parking just next to the building with entrance 8 floors down but hotel provides accurate directions... Upon parking, the lift takes you right to one side of the Seminario building with 1 block walking using pedestrian street!

Excellent old property with modern rooms. As a seminary it’s quiet and traditional in many places. Tranquility is a summary. Brilliant location, in centre of old town but tucked away

The hotel was very historic. The public areas kept much of their character. The room was spartan in keeping with the history of the building as an old seminary. If you are into watching TV, there isn't one in the room. The views were incredible! A beautiful place

I was happy with the location of this hotel and the staff were super helpful, the breakfast was excellent, but in our room which was the suite the windows were a little small and on a warm day they would not stay open they kept closing by themselves. My wife wasn't happy that there was no conditioner which she was expecting. The furniture was rather old and outdated. I probably would stay there again though I wouldn't spend the extra money on The Suite

This is a very unique property located right in the entrance of the old town. It is extremely convenient for sightseeing abd dining. The staff is very friendly and helpful One thibg unique about this property which i am not familiar with is that it does not have a TV or fridge in the room. It is not a problem for us but it is different

Great base from which to explore old city. Set back from main drag, quiet, and excellent breakfast. The building itself is beautiful, and located next to the science museum. Good for families.

Great location in the older part of Cuenca. Easy access to castle, Cathedral, and hanging house views. A little tricky in getting there if you are driving, as there is a one lane section regulated by a signal just prior to hotel. Suggest calling first and getting guidance to parking garage below the Monastery, and taking the elevator up to the hotel.

The location was the best feature - in the heart of old town, close to many turistic things. The receptionist was great, spoke 4 languages and was very helpful letting us know the streets would be closed due to the holiday events.

I really don't know why anyone would stay elsewhere in Cuenca if this lodging is available. While the amenities and room are simple, they are very clean with modern fixtures. The seminary is located in the heart of the old part of Cuenca that people come to see, the breakfast is wonderful (it does cost extra), and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is not 24-hour service at the front desk, although there is a phone number to call if it isn't staffed. If you must have a television in your room I guess perhaps it isn't the right place for you, but really there is all of beautiful Cuenca to see right out of the front door.

Hotel is located a street away from the plaza mayor. The rooms have been renovated nicely and are very comfortable. You will get a quiet sleep. There is no television in the room, which is perfect for me. Breakfast is very nice and filling. I would stay again when in Cuenca

Unique property in a privileged location, a stone-throw to the Plaza Mayor/Main Square, the Cathedral and all major historical attractions. Please be mindful that this property is a Seminary school, not a commercial or chain hotel: there is no TV or small fridge in the room...but it worked for us. The place is spotless, breakfast was great!

Really enjoyed this hotel. The building is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast was perfect. We were in the big family room and had a gorgeous view out our windows. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Hotel has bags of character and the bedrooms are much nicer than the photos. Good breakfast. Parking simple in a nearby carpark just follow the instructions. Location is superb as is Cuenca

Stayed in the family room. Great for a family of 5. Two bedrooms, one with 3 twins, the other with two twins pushed together. Comfortable beds. Lots of water pressure. Excellent breakfast, only slight issue was it doesnt start until 0830 and we had an 0830 train. The staff were very accommodating and let us start early. Also very helpful with directions, etc. Spoke fluent English. Besui view, right in the center of the old town. Steep hill and stairs to climb to access so not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges unfortunately.

Definitely stay here! It’s a unique “hotel”, in a quiet courtyard, yet just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor and the nightlife. Comfortable, modern, with a very nice breakfast included, the parking arrangements are also convenient if coming by car. We consider this one of the most enjoyable “hotels” of our whole trip!
