Stunning!!! Precisely what we had wished while visiting Bali. Tucked away in the jungle from the hustle & bustle from Ubud. Property & accommodations are stunning! Service & staff impeccable. Vigilante, responsive & unobtrusive. Would recommend & hope to stay again soon!!

If you are in UBUD this is the place to stay. Pricy!! But it was an amazing stay !!

Exceptional hotel in every possible way. I loved Dewi the massage specialist who was amazing. Ended up getting 3 massages in 3 days while I was there. This hotel is top tier & stunning in every way. Thank you for a beautiful experience ❤️

호시노야발리에서 4박을 머물렀습니다. 직원분들은 매우 친절했고 특히 저희 아이가 늦은 밤에 심한 두드러기로 응급실을 다녀왔을때 너무 큰 도움을 받았습니다. 발리를 11번째 가보지만 직원들의 친절함과 세밀한 배려는 이제껏 최고인 것 같습니다. 저희 가족은 조용한 곳을 선호하여 너무 만족스러웠습니다. 음식의 종류는 엄청 다양하지는 않지만 퀄러티가 훌륭했으며 맛 또한 좋았습니다 스파도 만족스러웠으며 수영장도 훌륭했습니다 I stayed for 4 nights in Hoshinoya Bali. The staff were very kind and especially when my child went to the emergency room with severe hives late at night. I've been to Bali for the 11th time, but the kindness and meticulous consideration of the staff seems to be the best ever. My family was so satisfied because they preferred a quiet place. The types of food are not very diverse, but the quality was great and the taste was also good. The spa was satisfactory and the pool was great.

One of the best hotel's we have been too! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gorgeous property surrounded by nature and relaxing, zen-like landscape. Villas are excellent as well and staff are very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

No gym, sauna, no room tv

I stayed at Hoshinoya Bali for two nights. The hotel is located in a jungle. I enjoyed wonderful tropical landscape in Ubud. I'm very relaxed because the staff are so kindly speaking to me and I daydream without thinking of anything in a gazebo. Free morning yoga class is also good for health maintenance. The strength of this hotel is its breakfast. We enjoyed a picnic style meal at the gazebo that protruded into the jungle. Additionally Indonesian and Japanese style meals in dining are very good too. Surprisingly, I'm so glad to have Osechi and Zouni, those are Japanese traditional New Year's dishes. The hotel also gave us great dinner time. We enjoyed special Indonesian and Japanese mixed full course food. I love their Wagyu steak and Savory egg custard. On the other hand, appetizers and sashimi platters have much room for improvement. Having said that, it was relatively high compared to other hotel meals. We ordered a la carte menu on the other day. I like their chicken soup and sate, skewered and grilled meat. We couldn't enjoy the pool for some days during our stay because it was rainy season. However , we could see how beautiful the lush, green nature of the Indonesian jungle is.

A modern hotel situated inside the jungles of North Ubud. The room gives direct access to the large canal swimming pool. The picnic breakfast at Cafe Gazebo is very scenic, and the contemporary Balinese set dinner in the restaurant is the best meal I had in Bali! Love the body relaxation spa where you can relax and take flower bath with the jungle view. The level of service is excellent. The staff here are friendly and pay attention to details. They found out it was my birthday a few days ago, and have sent me fruit plates and wine for celebration. Highly recommend to stay in Hoshinoya Bali if you are looking for a place which gives you a sense of inner peace.

Beautiful Japanese inspired architecture. The entire resort has a beautiful jasmin scent. Dali style stair cases added to the uniqueness of the architecture. Villa is spacious with lots of lounge couches. Plenty of space in living vs sleeping quarters. Food is ‘Japanese’s refined intepretation of Indonesian cuisine’. High quality ingredients, very well cooked. But if you are looking for the rich flavors of Indonesian spices, you won’t find it here. Staff is polite and friendly. As it is ‘Japanese inspired’, not super kids-friendly. The hotel have many overly strict rule to ‘maintain the desired ambiance, and in some case, traded off common sense/ convenience. Absolutely no outsiders are allowed, even if those ‘outsiders’ are recommended by hotel staff. Would highly recommend to honeymooners or just people who appreciate minimalism achitecture. The hotel staff seems genuinely tried to achieve customer service within their regulations, but in my view, the rules could be relaxed based on good common sense of the staff.

The nasi goreng and mee goreng we ordered tasted so bad, nothing authentic tasting at all. Breakfast was just fine, we were glad we went out for BF other days and ate out after trying the restaurants. I would assume hotel serving good quality food afterall the whole idea of such a resort is to encourage people to stay in and relax.For this level of service and environment, could easily find in bali. Hence i would say its not worth the price.

Breathtaking jungle views with rooms inspired by the concept of minimalism, each with its own private access to a shared pool. The cleanliness of the facility is exceptional and staff are very welcoming and accommodating.

Great and beautiful hotel but the staff was very confused. Everyone is super nice and kind but they don’t understand that they work at a 5 star hotel. Very confused at all times: -Mixed up orders or forgotten -We booked a trip to Ubud with the complimentary shuttle bus the day before but when leaving there was no bus -They forgot to charge for one of the dinners and then called after checkout to ask for credit card details -7 different people asked about transportation after check-out despite having confirmed plan with lobby This is such a beautiful location but the service unfortunately ruined the experience a bit.

I am so in love with the experience I had here. The staff provided amazing service, all smiles and always tries to help. The room is elegantly decorated, fusion of clean japanese but also some indonesian vibes in there, it is double story, looked even better in person than the pictures! The bed is very comfortable, we chose the Garden Pool Villa, Maisonette for 2 and loved our choice. The outdoor sofa area overlooking the pool is a very lovely touch, so relaxing to just chill there. I loved the pool, the pool is shared across all the villa guests but the whole time I swam there I only saw one other guest swim in there with me so there is enough privacy even though its a shared pool. You can also technically see the villas opposite but then again there is still enough privacy and the overall atmosphere is incredibly serene. Great deep bathtub. The cafe gazebos are STUNNING and I can just stay there for hours. The only thing is that the in-room dining is quite lacking in taste, expensive and lack of options. Also location of the hotel is quite far out so better to just book a driver for the day. Calling a taxi from the hotel takes an hour at least in advance to book. There is pretty much nothing around the hotel location so you'll have to drive somewhere out for food or eat within the hotel. Overall, the experience was peaceful, unreal and just gorgeous. I cannot wait to be back and loved almost everything about it. Had an unforgettable birthday couple's trip in this hotel :)

My husband and I stayed at Hoshinoya for our honeymoon. We cannot say enough about this hotel. It went beyond our expectations. The staff was the most incredible staff we have ever come across. They were absolutely wonderful, we have ZERO complaints about the staff. It rained on our last day there, and my husband and I got caught in the rain walking to one of the gazebos, and out of no where, a staff member appeared with umbrellas for us so we wouldn't get wet.They wouldn't let us lift a finger during our stay. The villas are absolutely stunning. Everything is very modern yet cozy. The pool is amazing, though it was a bit chilly at first, but once you jump in, it's very refreshing. The villas provide the perfect amount of privacy. The views from the gazebos are to die for. Probably out favorite amenity of the hotel. This is by far the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. The only drawback about the hotel is that is pretty remote, about 25 min from Ubud. And the food is pretty pricey at the hotel with not a lot of variety. The food itself is good, but the portions are small and if you have to eat 3 meals a day for a longer stay, it does get very expensive. We ended up having to eat most of our meal in Ubud.
