I love the location. Walking distance to Malecon, 20 minutes walk to the Romantic Zone, for example. Safe, simple and clean place to spend the night. Everyone was so nice and welcoming that it made it feel like home. Nadia (I believe this is her name) is super nice and helpful. I would totally stay again in this hotel!

I'm not too fussy about hotels but this stay inspired me to write a review. To be fair the bed was comfortable, the area safe and the woman at the desk was lovely but the condition of the room was unacceptable. The sliding door to the little balcony was broken and required the two of us yarding on it aggressively to get it to move. As it was, there really wasn't much point in opening it as the hose from the AC unit was dripping steadily onto the balcony. The one electrical outlet in the room was loose in the wall with no cover plate. There was a frayed bath mat covering the shower drain, I lifted it to reveal clouds of tiny ants scurrying around the drain and clinging to the towel. It turned out that there was no need to uncover the drain as there was no hot water to shower, although we did recover the drain once we realized an unpleasant odour was emanating from it and drifting through the bathroom. Returning to the room later in the evening, we though to console ourselves and perhaps find a bright side to our stay and make our way up to the rooftop deck. Glimpses of greenery waving in a soft breeze and a thatched roof had hope stirring in my breast but alas, the stairway was securely gated, reserving the deck for an unoccupied penthouse suite. We are feeling very grateful that we were only here for a night.

Two nights of no AC in room and two days of bringing it to their attention. In addition to no AC, there was no toilet seat in the bathroom and also a leak coming from sink in bathroom. Finally after yelling at the front desk the 3rd day did they agree to over me to a room that had a working AC, now the AC still didnt really cool that great, and then also a missign toilet seat in the new room as well. Spotty WIFI didnt improve thing either. I would not stay here again and suggest others avoid it.

Very comfotable, affordable place, friendly staff, nice bedding, a.c,clean. In the quieter end of the malecon but plenty of restaurants, bars , etc. Bgg. A quiet beach 5 minutes sway. Beautiful terraza on the roof. Transportation on the corner to wherever you want. Great!

Location closed to everything. However, property is quite noise within inside. Guests are tremendously noisy and you can listen every one talking, slamming doors, kids shouting and guests moving furniture above your room. Impossible to rest. Thx

At the time of checking in the reception informed us "cash only" then when I explained I didn't have cash she pulled out the Credit card machine. Rooms are very Small. No hot water. No drinking water provided. AC was acting up. Staff was not very friendly. Location is the only good feature, it's close to Malecon, stores and restaurants.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Every single detail was horrible, but I’ll try to keep it brief. -Room for nearly $100/night was directly outside of the elevator, behind a door too skinny to fit a suitcase in, & the top foot of where the door should be was gone and just open. -Room was underground with no windows, immediately smelled like mildew/mold, and soon the smell of raw sewage was very apparent. I had to grab another shirt to cover my nose to sleep -It sounded like there were people and dogs sharing a room with us. You could hear every single little thing going on around, and the whole back wall had full, large openings to another room or area that you couldn’t see, but could hear, so absolutely NO privacy or peace -FILTHY. Sheets were thin, discolored, w/ holes in them. I saw a huge mattress stain under the one thin sheet that was a dark yellow/brown where I had been laying that I wish I could unsee. No turn down service or towels. No toiletries, despite what the listing says, the drain in the shower seems to be the source of the sewage smell, so taking a shower felt like a non-option. I could go on about the lack of cleanliness.. -I paid for my phone to work overseas, and it worked perfectly in PV, EXCEPT our basement room. -Wifi never worked in the building during the stay. TV worked once. no ability to do anything in the room but bask in regret & sewage -Expedia should do a better job of vetting places/blocking fake reviews to avoid this experience

Cute hotel with a lots of greenery as you walk to your room. VERY clean, our room was cleaned and restocked regularly. Air conditioner worked amazingly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not to mention patient with our limited Spanish. Both me and my fiancé decided we would definitely stay here again next time we’re in PV!

This hotel has nothing but a bed and an air conditioner. The TV doesn’t work. They Wifi is terrible. Some of the staff pretends not to understand when there’s an issue. The church next door has bells that play at 6:30-8am every day. No safe in the room. No fridge in the rooms. It’s just not worth the price for a bed and ac. This should cost no more than 30$ a night.

For a budget hotel this was lovely - decent sized rooms and bathrooms, cleaned and refreshed regularly, with friendly staff. The roof top terrace is great for Al fresco eating of take away meals and has the most wonderful views. For English travellers - you need Spanish as the staff don't speak any English. The hotel is positioned right near a super coffee shop and great little bar, so while no catering facilities in hotel there is no lack of options for coffee or a quick drink. All in all we found it great value for money.

When me and my friend came in the first thing we noticed was there no toilet seat. Also even though they said there was wifi it was so weak that it was barely usable. The staff was friendly but the management is lacking. Also the shower the water was really low pressure. On top of that the cieling was leaking in the bathroom as I was brushing my teeth. The ac only had one temperature

I liked that a Starbucks was very close to this hotel. I rented an economy room that I thought came with A/C. It didnt. So I upgraded to a room that did. Then the power went out throughout the hotel. So I just paid for A/C I was not able to enjoy. Situation was resolved about 4am. Theen tge nect day the power went out sgain. I just could not deal with them anymore. I recommend staying at El Pecador Hotel if you want a budget hotel. Its far better and a few steps away from the beach. It never lost power.
