a special eco-lodge on a beautiful island. Beginning with the boat pickup in Bocas, a picturesque ride across to the lodge it was beautiful!! the owner was an amazing tour guide as he described the property. His knowledge of the fauna and other things we came across (insects, bugs, sloth, etc) teaching us about the area was very interesting.
the food, all prepared on site, was delicious! anything we needed was provided. the room was spacious and clean. It is quite warm here and humid so you need to be ok without AC.

Dolphin Bay Hideaway is an experience in natural Panamanian beauty. The tour will immerse you in the flora and fauna this island has to offer. Meals are much like dining at that friends house that is the ultimate host. Kayak with the dolphins, then take an adventure to one or more of the neighbouring islands in this beautiful archipelago.
The eco resort experience is about natural simplicity, not hotel luxury. Adventurous types will love it.

Brian and Amy truly made us feel as if we were family returning for a visit, rather than first-time guests. They did everything possible to make sure our stay was what we hoped it would be. Highly recommend doing a nature walk with Brian. The meals were excellent and we had a great time with the other guests around the table. A very relaxing stay!

Amy and Brian are great hosts! Beautifully nestled in a jungle setting on a calm bay. Brian gave us a personal tour of the property and showed us the good work he is doing to maintain and rehab the jungle’s flora and fauna! Had a great snorkel experience. Very peaceful and relaxing! Food was great! Highly recommend!

An eco resort that lives up to its name. We’ll looked after in this hidden paradise. Snorkeling paddling info about nature and the jungle. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely the high point of our trip to Panama. Brian and Amy are the best and their hospitality knows no bounds. They made us feel welcome immediately, as did all the other guests. The grounds are beautiful and our room was incredibly comfortable. We loved eating with the other guests and the food was just incredible. We'd love to go back to Panama and if we do we will definitely be returning to Dolphin Bay.

What a little treasure! We absolutely loved our hosts Amy and Brian and the beautiful eco resort they have created in remote Dolphin Bay. Our room was very comfortable. The food was great- no choice and family-style but consistently yummy. We were lucky and had a wonderful group we shared meals and snorkelling adventures and kayaking with. Brian took us to secret spots snorkelling and on nature hikes - we had dolphins come up to say hi, sloths, rare frogs, fish, coral, turtles. It was very hard to say goodbye.

Just a gem of a place and people! A little hidden corner of paradise. Didn’t know what to expect when we decided to end our panama trip on isla Cristóbal for a 3 night stay at dolphin bay. We like all types of travel; we did the rooftop bars in Panama City, the hikes and coffee tour in boquete, the beach and exploring time in Isla Colón and party time in Bocas Town, but this ending was the cherry on top and a real raw and amazing way to experience just a beautiful place in panama! I’ve never experienced something so personal... the food was amazing (tuna steak, shrimp pineapple rice, curry chicken!) , the service was amazing (Brian and Amy are the best, always planning and making sure everything is good, took us to great snorkle spots, gave us an educational tour in the jungle,..)The place was a perfect mix of comfortable and beautiful, still feeling jungly and submerged into the panama jungle and ocean surroundings. And just the bay, watching the dolphins morning afternoon, evening... it’s magical ! For me who is in love with dolphins, I can’t believe a place like this exists and everyone in the world who travels is not making a stop here !!!This is a perfect place to relax, rejuvinate and explore a hidden paradise within panama! Highly recommended!

Brian and Amy are gracious hosts who are naturals at ensuring that a guest feels special. Their property is tucked away on an island off from Bocas and from the moment another guest and I were picked up on their boat the vacation began. As soon as you head to the lodge from their dock there is something to see everywhere. From flowers to palms, to water lilies in their two ponds, to their permanent lodger, Dutch - the red frog - who took up residence on one of their fences, to the hummingbirds, and so much more. Brian provided a brief walk-about of the property exuding pride of ownership - well deserved! The lodge is located in such a way that the views of the bay from the restaurant are magnificent. The lodge has special touches everywhere, appropriate to the theme of coastal holidays. Their breakfasts and dinners are first class and abundant. They also make lovely tropical cocktails! If you like sunrises, as I do, the dock offers a real Zen experience. And, if you are lucky, you will see an early fishermen cast his net from his boat silhouetted against the light. If you are looking for nature, tranquility, and recharging you have found the perfect place. You should also try out the restaurant next door. Its accessible by a short kayak paddle which is half the fun.A special mention goes to their wonderful staff.Thank you again and until the next time.

Our family of 4 recently stayed at Dolphin Bay Hideaway with Brian and Amy, and we had the most incredible time. The kids slept in the loft (right above our room) and firmly believed they had the best "digs" in the house! Everything was special about Dolphin Bay...the gorgeous reef within minutes from the hideaway, the stunning mangroves, majestic dolphins (and paddle boarding with them), the chocolate farm, "Spike" - the resident spectacled caiman crocodile, tacos, Hermione, 5 star meals, amazing conversations and company. Brian and Amy were absolutely incredible with our boys. Their thoughtfulness, kindness, and positivity made it a one of a kind experience for each and every one of us. We can't wait to go back next year!!!
