Very nice 1 bedroom Condo, quiet but close to everything. Down side was a very hard bed!

Pleasantly surprised by the size of this suite. Great, friendly service. We attended a concert at Harvey's and it was about a 25 minute walk from this location. We rented scooters and made it back from concert in about 10 minutes. The room was really clean and the bed was actually comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Safe just be mindful of the bears. Do not leave food in your car. I got to see a Mama bear and her two cubs in the back of someone’s truck!

Staff was attentive and friendly rooms were large and comfortable. Definitely will stay here again

Great place to stay

Very cute and comfortable property. There are comfy chairs and sofas placed around the property. A room with pool table, a library, a large jacuzzi, and the rooms are very comfortable with a nice little balcony.

property was nice and clean, breakfast is all pre made foods so unless your looking for a snack I wouldn't count on it as a breakfast. Would stay here again

I like this cozy apartment, especially nature in the window

The property had a nice location, but with no air conditioning in nearly 90 degrees heat was a tough deal.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we are in the area.

A great place to stay

Great place to stay! We loved the quiet. The only struggle was that there was no air conditioning but there were fans provided. Pretty hot in the room in the late afternoons and evenings. Rooms were very clean. Kitchenette was wonderful. We would definitely return again in the future.

Fan in the living room area did not work but no big deal, simply used the one in the bedroom for both rooms. Very happy with the how quite and safe the facility was considering I was traveling by myself.

Very good accommodation. It was missing the cooling AC.. but the provided fans were helpful.

During our 3-night stay in July 2024, Tahoe was hot in high 80's. Our room on 2nd floor did not have AC, but we were able to open the screened patio door to draw cooler night air in by using 2 portable fans found in the closet (not sure if a ground floor unit could leave patio door open due to potential bear intrusion). There were also 2 ceilig fans. The living area was cooler, but the bedroom which had no windows, was warmer, but was "tolerable". The Lodge area was a quiet cul-de-sac, so no noise at night and we're able to keep patio door open through the night. SInce we were a family of 4 adults in an one bedroom unit, two of us had to sleep on the sofabed. It was a typical springy and thin sofabed which was not comfortable for two adults and we would not recommend it for heavier adults. We found a solution by using the sofa cushions to create another "bed", so only one adult would need to sleep on the sofa bed. The timeshare unit had all the amenities including a small bottle of detergent & scrub sponge, paper towels, shampoo, soap & lotion, toaster & blender, a dishwasher, and all kitchen items needed for cooking & eating. The front desk guy even provided us with a complementary toothbrush when one of us forgot to bring one. The Lodge also provided limited quantities of apples, oranges, bananas, cookies, and small water bottles at the lobby. Overall nice place. Note: Safeway in Nevada side is less than 5 minutes away by car and there's NO sales tax at Nevada side.

The room smelled horrible gave me a headache. Couch was dirty. Many rules to follow.

Check in hours are very limited and the new hours are not posted on the website. Another guest showed up 15 minutes after the new check in hours and absolutely no way to check in. Check in by 7 M-Thur and 8 F-S. Limited hours to ask for clean towels. Alot of rules.

Nice place

Nice and quiet place. Feels homey. Very close to South Lake Tahoe and the Stateline casinos. The mattress was the downer as it was way to soft. Had a bad sleep as a result. Slept on the sofa instead the following night for a good sleep!

The accommodations were very nice.
Very quiet at night and excellent breakfast. Good location if you want to be close to the casinos but not in the midst of them.

A very strange stay indeed. Although not indicated on hotels.com, it was upon arrival that I was advised that The Lodge is a time-share, not a hotel or traditional lodge. The buildings, landscaping and parking lot are also dated and/or in poor condition.
Although most of the staff members are very nice, they are often unable to assist guests due to the ridiculous policies of management. For example, the lobby and facilities are locked down as early as 7:00 p.m. - which is both inconvenient and odd.
When my meeting was unexpectedly cancelled (I no longer needed to stay in town), the hotel management had zero flexibility and I was given no chance to reschedule or recover a portion of my payment if I checked out early. I was advised that refunds are NEVER granted - even in the event that a guest must depart early due "a death in the family." Wow.
Beyond that, The Lodge features ubiquitous laminated signs that very sharply instruct guests how to behave, use the room and facilities, and generally how to stay at the facility. Among them is that, prior to checkout, the guest is REQUIRED to strip the beds and place used linens in the bathtub. Okay, not hard to do...but what? I was even told that my backing into a parking space (which is safer than heading in) was a violation of the lodge policy.
In 40 years of staying at hotels, motels and lodges, I've never before felt like I was attending a required boot camp, rather that enjoying a stay as a valued and respected guest. :-)

Property doesn't charge a resort fee.

Simple well kept property. Is in a very convenient place for getting to many of the ski slopes or right next to the lake.

It's always nice to be pleasantly suprised w accomodations when travelling and not disappointed while on vacation. This place for the price is a "hidden" gem in Tahoe. Everything from the front desk ladies, Jennifer and Rose w their welcoming warm vibes and customer service, to the quality of the room, and especially the Kitchennette -all contributed to a positive experience here. I will most definitely consider coming back to this lodge for the next trip. Oh and free washer & dryer amenities for the win! That was super convenient and appreciated. My only critique is the Queen bed- seemed a bit small, and also the mattress can maybe be upgraded in the future, but I knew the size when booking, and I am also used to my giant Cali-King. There was an additional queen sofa bed we could have used, but after the 1st night we became accustomed to the bed, and it did not cause any loss of sleep. Overall very satisfied w this stay!

Wonderful property and stay. Only issue was the parking in the back is really unsafe with the snow. My husband myself and my son all fell down on some black ice. We were trying to be careful but it was difficult with nothing to hold onto on the steep hill. My husband and son were good but I hit my head after falling. Regardless wed stay here again but wont park any place other than the front.

This place is interesting because its a timeshare property, not a hotel. So you wont find things like coffee in the lobby. But its charming and quiet. The front desk staff was really nice and the suite was really large! Comfortable bed, huge sofa, gas fireplace, ceiling fans, kitchen, free parking, view of trees out one side, small balcony. Theres a great cafe down on the corner. The hot tub looked nice but we didnt use it. Nice lobby & books, magazines & movies to borrow. Id stay here again.

Great place for a girls weekend. Quick 10min walk to the casions. Cheap Uber if thats what you need. Lobby closes by 7pm but not an issue. Its definitely a place to relax.. go into town to party come back to the lodge to chill

This place was a great location, past the Casinos, 3 miles to Zepher Cove and 30 minutes over KingsburyGrade to Carson Valley. Staff was amazing and we had everything we needed in our room to dine in . Was suprised on Saturday with a nice continental breakfast that they do . Room was very clean and well kept.

Great stay, Great room. We wish the jacuzzi was open past 6:30 PM since that's when most people would want to use it.
10.0
Parking was very difficult on weekends. There were no napkins and paper towels. Also, trash bags were flimsy.
5.0
It was great but raining. However, as usual the lodge was great and friendly staff like Jennifer.
5.0
Hesitant because of reviews about lack of air conditioning. Room temp was perfect even without opening slider. Fans did fine! First floor room, no direct sun. Surprised how spacious and comfortable with all items on hand. Extremely welcoming staff! Would definitely come back!
