Lovely villa wz stunning view , friendly and helpful staff !! The food in restaurant also very good , comparetively pricy , but still worth it . Massage also quite gd , i enjoy it . Wanna stay longer next time !

My sister and I stayed at one of the Ocean Villas a few weeks back. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more, the staff are so kind and friendly, the service is of the highest quality and the resort is just beautiful. The swimming pools were purified without the need of Chroline which was a huge plus for me personally and the 35m pool was just the icing on the cake. The management team was very accommodating to literally every need we had. The resort is in a quiet area and fairly remote which is nice but to visit nearby places be sure to have a car or scooter (the hotel offers a taxi service but I personally thought it was a bit overpriced relative to the rest of Bali). The hotel beach itself is not suited for swimming but there's a lot of beautiful nearby beaches such as Virgin Beach. The food was very refined, specifically, breakfast was very varied and delicious and we got to choose from a wide list of options. We also got to choose to have our food at the restaurant or at the villa for no extra charge (I recommend breakfast at the restaurant just for the view, unless you're in the Sea Villa which has breathtaking views!) This is a place I will definitely come back to with the rest of my family one day.

Good stay in modern contemporary villa. Only downside was the overpowering smell of cow dung and the flies that accompanied this!

Shunyata Villas is hard to describe because words almost fail me to describe the beauty and serenity of this place. It's a sublime spot. Graceful, attentive, elegant service. Wonderful cuisine. Flawless accommodation. Worth coming to Bali just for this.

This place is perfect for a retreat from the busy life.... you will love this if tou want to be away from everything and be served and cared like royalty.....People are nice and everything in this resort is design for privacy....Take te resort shutle it is well wort it....Not a place to party but to find your inerself wile eating good food .....

This resort is out in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive. The villas are on a 50-foot hill overlooking the ocean. There are only 5 villas in the entire property. An absolutely amazing experience. This area of the island is relatively poor. If you exit out of the hotel grounds and get a chance to meet some of the locals you find they are amazing humble people. They are also so very happy. My career is in finance and this experience helped remind me of what is important in life (family, relationship, community, giving to others ...) The area is 100% safe. I certainly felt as safe if not safer walking the trails and sidewalks than in the city or tourist locations. Less than 50 yards from the hotel there is a small school which from 2 pm to 4 pm every Monday through Thursday teaches about 60 local children English for free. Friday the local girls learn Balanises dance. The school is always looking for English speakers to help. Volunteering at the school was a highlight of our trip to Bali.If you get a chance, try to have dinner at They Lemonds (about 1.5 km from the property at the top of the hill.) You can walk from the hotel hower it is a bit of a hike. The chief is Karduik (sp?). Try to give him a days notice before going and he will purchase at market fresh fish for the dinner. For less than 20USD (plus a 15USD tip) my wife and I had a meal that was out of this world.

Overall experience was excellent and pleasant. But not much to do around in the local area. Staffs speak English fluently and they are really chill and helpful. The villas are clean, the vibe is super relaxing. If you are on a trip for mental rehabilitation would totally recommend this Resort and Villas.

Don’t go if you want action, tourist spots, lively company and all the things you think of as Bali around Denpensr. Do go if you need a beautifully appointed tranquil luxurious haven to get away from it all, relax and be massaged, eat beautifully prepared very healthy food. It’s quiet and it’s pampering. The staff are all outstanding. If the pool attached to your villa isn’t enough there’s an amazing huge infinity pool for laps. The views are stunning and there’s a great village to be explored on walks or jogs ( very hilly) where all the locals are hugely welcoming. Just a superb “unwind” place
