It was nice and the employees were all very friendly and helpful. Loved the updated look. Only complaint was we booked a room with a king sized bed and sofa and we got put in a room with 2 queens no sofa. I really love a sofa so I dont have to sit in bed to eat or use my laptop. Other than that it was nice.

Check in was good, coffe maker was broken in room, and they want $6 for a small cup becauseof some Alliance with Starbucks

We stay in hotels quite a bit for softball and volleyball tournaments. This hotel was the best by far we’ve stayed at in quite a while. Very comfortable, quiet with thick walls and better insulation. We are often out the door so early that places that offer breakfast don’t have it going yet so I’ve started trying places like this that don’t offer breakfast for free. What this location did offer was a very comfortable stay with cool, quiet room and comfortable beds. Very nice desk clerk who put together an ice pack out of shower caps for my daughter‘a knee.

Check in receptionist was super nice. Our stay was really good, I’m glad we found a room there last minute after a beach day.

Little inconvenience with the check in. It was supposed to be at 3:00pm and the room wasnt ready until 4:00pm ish. Other than that, everything good!

Good hotel overall. Breakfast options in the hotel are limited but there are nice options nearby.

Clean, quiet hotel close to where we needed so it would have been perfect. The only downfall was that the ac in our room would not kicked in. As if there was only a fan running. We got there just in time to go to bed and not one of us could get comfortable because we were so hot all night long. By morning the room was barely cooling down.

I liked that the Tesla level 2 chargers were in the parking lot.

Staff was very friendly and helpful . Room was very nice and comfortable.

No free breakfast

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to stay at a hotel. Upon check-in front desk lacked empathy to begin with, due to a death in the family I needed to check in early, however; front desk stated check in was at 3 not noon & currently had no rooms available. I totally understand the No clean rooms on their part; but, it’s how the lady said with such aggression. The lady noted my phone number & stated she would call me as soon as there was a clean room available. I then decided to call the corporate office to see if I could get an early check in & the sweet lady notated in the system about my needs, within minutes I received a phone call from the hotels front desk @ the Lake Jackson Marriott stating a clean room was available. Upon checking in (I prepaid through a third party) I was asked for a debit/credit card for incidentals & again due to unforeseen circumstances I didn’t have a physical debit/credit card on me. I let her know I only had Apple Pay, she stated she needed a chip card for fraudulent purposes? I asked her if there was anything she could do as I had nowhere to go, she called her supervisor but an exception was declined for the ApplePay payment which they accepted by the way. I was able to get a debit card& to my surprise the shower baseboard was moldy & the power went out as I was coming down the elevator, for the second time. Then housekeeping came into my room even after DNT sign was on door as I was getting dressed to checkout. Overall, a terrible exp.
