Comfortable place to stay, convenient to everything we wanted to do. And there was plenty to do!

For the price it could be much better.

We had so much fun in Doylestown and this was the perfect place to stay - right in the heart of town and so easy to get to all of the restaurants and shopping!

10 out of 10 for Hargrave House! It was an excellent location, within walking distance to everything downtown. Our room was adorable, quaint, but with all the modern amenities. And our hostess Sophia was an angel! I highly recommend it.

Check-In was super easy and the room very comfortable and clean. Our host was very attentive and prepared a great breakfast. We would stay again.

Everything was lovely and very pleasant proprietor!

The in room jacuzzi, sadly, was not in service. Would have used it after a long drive to relax. Very comfortable bed and bedding in king room for 2. Manager Sophia is so hospitable and kind! Check in easy. She also fixed an overcharge issue with Expedia quickly. Breakfast tasty and fun as guests gather between 8am-9am and eat together, chat. Excellent coffee. Will definitely stay in this inn again.

We were very happy at this B&B. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. The shower was great. The owner, Sophia was very nice and friendly. She also made us a delicious breakfast. We will definitely return to this B&B.

Location was excellent!!

Received a phone call for check to say door was unlocked! Breakfast was from 8 to 9 am. Offered eggs, turkey sausages or cereal. Very limited breakfast. No one was present to get help from. Website states daily housekeeping but was told at 9 pm again in on a phone needed to request service at 8 am. Will not ever recommend this B & B to anyone.

Cute little establishment. Everyone was kind and helpful. It was convenient to the festival and race we were attending.

Breakfast was good but too basic. Bagels or muffins would have been a nice accompaniment. Good coffee!

Spent our anniversary weekend at this very nice B and B. The hostess, Sophia, was pleasant and made our stay especially impressive. Her breakfast was very good! Our room was large and clean and quietly cooled. Bed was most comfortable!

The room was nice, but very weird that door was left open for us when we arrived, no face to face with anyone. Next morning we never received breakfast that we paid for ( bed and breakfast) a worker on the property next door was nice enough to give us ideas. The owner ?? Called to say sorry miscommunication on times, never offered another option and stated she was not on property so could not help us. Then she all of a sudden showed up later and started hassling the worker next door who was the only face to face contact we had - and had nothing to do with hargraves house. Thank you to him for making it a pleasant morning. The owner??? Was mean, defensive and just plain rude to us!

The B & B was nice and clean. Finding the parking lot was difficult, it would have been better to have a map to guide you to the parking.

The decor is a bit dated but the owner was nice enough and the breakfast was a treat. The parking and location are great.

The hostess Sofia was very nice and friendly. The breakfast area was lovely. We didn’t like that a worker walked into our room without knocking, about an hour before our check-out.

Very pleasant trip! Great location in Doylestown. Staff is pretty hands off given the cost per night but it was a great room to connect with the town.

We got access through a phone instruction. The room assigned had an overpowering door of air freshener. When called the manager allowed us to move to another room. Hot tub out of order. When asked at breakfast if there was anything else we wanted, we did not expect that we had to request our room to be made up. This lead to a confrontation on the street where the manager pointed out that we were at fault for not knowing we need to ask for this. Manager was wanting in customer relations.

The breakfast room and the service was excellent. The person who cleaned the room did a great job! Awesome location right int he heart of Doylestown.

The property was lovely. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The experience was similar to visiting family. The location is perfect for any foodie out there!

Sofia is a lovely and charming hostess. She was great and everything was clean. Everything needed was there in the room, and it was all in order. I knocked one star off (and that was not an easy decision) because although the front building was built in 1814, the interior did not really have the character of such a historic property. With the exception of the breakfast room. So anyone expecting a historic B&B experience with parlors, fireplaces, period furniture, lace curtains, and such, might be a bit disappointed. Not to say it isn’t a good place to stay.

The owner, Sophia, is wonderful. She was very warm, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was very good. She gave a choice of options. It is located in the middle of downtown Doylestown, where just outside your door are delicious restaurants and beautiful shops a few steps away.

Everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

Great location right in town. Walk to everything in the town. The inn was clean, easy access and very quaint. Room #5 was perfect for our out-of-country guest. He felt like royalty!

Lovely BnB in town. Walking distance to museums and restaurants. Breakfast needs improvement but it was adequate. Bed was very comfortable.

Sophia was very pleasant. Easy check-in and check-out. Location was great for what we planned for our weekend getaway! Most B&B’s require multiple night stays but we only needed Saturday night. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our experience was. We would definitely go back if in the area again.

The housekeeping was not good. The window sills were very dusty and paper trash was under the bed the entire stay. Clean towels and washclothes were not provided. The breakfast was no better than a motel. The jacuzzi, as shown in their add, did not work as they said they could not maintain its cleanliness - insufficient housekeeping in my opinion. My wife had to make our breakfast the last morning due to lack of staff.
