You have to do self check-in according to an email you would get, but I haven't get any email until the day of check-in. You would have no phone number, any line to contact them. What I could do was waiting in front of the main gate until someone opened the door for me. I barely entered there, and the front person said my email might be wrong or hotels.com had a problem, never said their system is wrong. She said I would get an info for opening gate sometime soon so I believed her and left, but it didn't arrive again, so I had to wait in rain AGAIN until someone opened the door for me. I got in anyway, the capsule was dirty, there was no 110V inlet, and all the spaceship-themed panels, digital clock were just FAKE, printed paper lol. More annoying thing was I finally got that email for checking-in at 10 PM. Would never go back again.

This was my first experience sleeping in a pod and it was very comfortable. The mattress and pillow provided were good quality with a lot of support. The Goki keyless system was handy and easy to use. I especially liked the location , there was a Metro and bus stop around the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful. Additional lighting at the communal sinks on the floor would be a big help. The showers had good water pressure. A fresh paint job would make the place shine. I'd stay there again.

This is a safe, comfortable, eco-friendly way to stay overnight. It was not noisy. Everyone was respectful and considerate. Very minimal interaction with other guests.

It is easy to get around, thanks to the hostel's proximity to the Metro station. You can also conveniently take the bus to Georgetown for a short walk. Another perk is the neighborhood, which seems nice to stroll. All in all, it was a good experience for four days, and I definitely recommend staying for a short time.

Only thing would be increased ventilation inside the rooms, as some nights it was not comfortable sleeping through unpleasant odours. But other than that everything else was great, friendly staff, cozy pods, chill common area, etc. Glad to have been there during my trip to DC
