Our heat was not working. Overnight became -3 Celsius. The Management refused to send an emergency service to repair the broken system. They refused to pay me back, or to send me to a hotel overnight. They told me to stay until the morning and they will move me to a different unit. I was with my wife and my 3, 6, and 7 years old sons. How do you believe we all felt. I spend over 3 hours on the phone with VRBO (the most useless company) and the Zimmerzentrale (the landlord) only to get further irritated by their absolute ignorance. Something like this has never happened to me in my entire life. Everyone knew we had little kids. There was a guy from the Zimmerzentrale on-site, like a check-in guy, who is not a technician, who saw our family, who knew about the problem. I asked him for space heaters. His reply was, we have everything but now its too late. I can't do anything for you. It was around 10:30pm. I started the process short before 9pm. So it was late for him, right? I assume he went back to his comfy apartment, enjoying himself. For us, coming from over 5000 miles away, was not obviously too late. Never again this company. If they can be banned from VRBO, please do so. Also VRBO could not help even a bit. What a useless site. I dealt with their competition last year and I had magnificent experience. They were able to do miracles. VRBO just forwarded my call to Zimmerzentrale, which I alredy had spoken to. By the way the 3 hours phone bill was me waiting probably 2:55min on hold with VRBO. Amazing scam.
