The location and the area surrounding the hotel are great. Many dining options close by and easy to navigate through the area while driving. A good location if you have an event at the Sports Pavillion- less than a 5 minute drive. I have stayed here a few times without any issues. The only exception would be the most recent stay in which they were out of Double Queen rooms which is what I had booked. Ultimately, I was placed in a King bed room which on most occasions would have been fine. This particular trip, however, I was traveling with an assistant coach and this presented an inconvenience for sleeping arrangements. We ended up resolving the issue with an air mattress as the hotel did not have a rollaway bed option. The attendant at the check in desk was very kind and professional and provided us with additional bedding supplies and tried to help make improvements to a less than ideal situation.

The contactless check in process was cumbersome. You have to download the Hilton app and the instructions aren't clear. Our shower wasn't the cleanest and there was some kind of makeup smeared on the bathroom door. We went down for breakfast around 9:30 and not everything was being restocked timely. The lobby area has a little convenience foods for purchase area and lots of seating options as well as some games and TVs. We utilized the pool table which was fun. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I liked that the rooms are not carpeted. Overall the stay was good.

Everyone was very pleasant that we interacted with. We loved the room, that it was not a carpet floor and the layout was perfect. The rolling desk was a unique feature. The 24/7 coffee and tea was a great perk, as well as the free breakfast. The gym, of course small, but great equipment including a peloton, 2 treads and various options for weight lifting — cleaning wipes and towels provided. Every place we went to was 10 or less minutes away, and plenty of food options in the immediate surrounding area.

Clean and quiet. Breakfast is good. Always coffee and hot water available.

Great place to stay!

Our stay was so nice. No gliches in our reservation, friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms. A little pricey on a busy weekend in Lawrence, Ks, but pretty much worth it.

Hotel lobby and rooms were clean, we loved the hangout lobby full of games and space to eat if you want to do crock pot meals instead of eating out every night! There’s plenty of room to set up a meal and eat with friends and family. Plenty of fun games for kids and adults. Our teens loved the pool table. Only downfall that would prevent me from booking again was that the rooms were sooooo tiny. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in a double Queen and it was crammed. Also, No microwave in the room.

Property was well maintained, clean. Staff was friendly. Beds/pillows were excellent.

Some rust in the shower and a some small holes on the bottom, but very minor complaint

Staff was friendly and attentive during busy breakfast hour to keep coffee stocked! Perfect for what we needed for a short visit to stay near our son at college.

This hotel was just fine for a quick college visit, albeit not the best value on certain weekends when there’s a lot happening in town. A clean no frills hotel with good service, friendly employees, simple room accommodations, and a nice variety of breakfast offerings. The area is close to shopping and dining and about a 12 min drive to KU’s campus.

Gave us a key to an occupied room....late at night

The hotel was in a great location. Very clean and the staff was incredibly nice! I really enjoyed me stay.

Too much writing of instructions, almost like graffiti. It's all over doors, elevators, walls, on soap dispensers, etc. Drippy soap containers and can't adjust AC temperature. Otherwise good, quiet, clean, convenient. Excellent breakfast.

Hotel was oversold and no rooms available even though I prepaid. Very unhelpful as well at the front desk.

Maurice was very kind and compassionate.

Breakfast was horrible both days. One bed was missing a sheet. Check in took 2 people and waaaay too long. Nowhere near the expectation of a Hilton property.

Traveling for summer basketball with our kids, and even though we didn't have a pool for the kids and team to swim in between games there was still a pool table in a great lobby for everybody to hang out in and even outside.

Perfect spot with a great shower after a long day on the road!

Well thought out hotel. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The staff was very nice. The rooms have good design and the beds are comfortable. Love the walk-in shower.

Pretty clean hotel, decent breakfast. Very nice surrounding area

The staff was excellent and very personable. The only negative was that, like many facilities, housekeeping was only on demand and not automatic. One would think that when staying multiple days there would be a discount because of this.

Had to move because Ac was screeching. Assigned to a room that was occupied already. Finally found an unoccupied space and did fine. Try is a very convenient location for us. Hope quirks are worked out.

The room was spotless except for the shower which had a little bit of rust. The elevators were in need of a scrubbing. There was a high school baseball team staying there which could explain the elevators but I think it was just some “deferred maintenance”.
