We had a great stay! We were extremely exhausted and this was a very nice place to stay! Newer hotel and super clean! The bed was firm but still comfortable. The kitchenette area was a lovely surprise with a full sized fridge and a 2 burner electric stovetop. Would definitely stay again!

Having a full refrigerator and kitchen with cooktop in the room is great. No pots, pans, or utensils are provided, so plan to bring your own. My only complaint is that I spent 5 nights here and housekeeping never cleaned my room, not even once.

We travel alot thru the summer on motorcycles and normally stay at 2-3 of the same chains. There was a group of us that stayed at My Place 9/7-9/8 for a recent trip near Wixom, MI..we were all quite impressed. The room was better than many other places we have stayed at. Nice rooms , full size fridge, bedding like a 5 star. Great coffee! Will definitely put MP at the top of our list moving forward. Kudos to the Managers and Staff.

Recommend for travelers with dogs. Affordable pet fee and lots of grassy area outside. Grill/patio area is a nice place to sit outside with your pupper.

The stay was peaceful and comfortable. It was hands down better then my stay at the Comfort Inn about 2 miles away and better priced

Has all the room amenities you want - full size frig/freezer, microwave, sink, queen bed, recliner. Coffee/tea at front desk. Free parking and only $15 pet fee. We have a non-shedding, little senior dog and so many places charge $75-125 for pet fee in a stinky room. This was very clean and no smell room - hope it can be kept up because that is super positive to not have the smell. The room was perfectly designed and had all the little conveniences where you needed things (placement of trash cans, hooks, bottle opener, etc).

This place is a good place to stay. Not fancy, but clean and beds were comfy. I loved having fridge and microwave and a sink w, a stovetop. A great deal.

The room was different than the last time we were here we had a king bed, not that it made any difference. The queen bed seem to sit on the floor with no frame underneath, even though it did, you could feel the springs in the mattress, didn’t sleep the best.the tub faucet was loose, I was almost afraid it was gonna fall off, the window in the bedroom, didn’t close all the way, I guess these aren’t my problems though, the staff was great. Actually the room was great. We come here for Family.

This was probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was super friendly. The only reason I changed hotels is the traffic was horrible and made my drive from work too long and the hotel raised the price on the 2nd week.

Seems like a new property and in good repair. Staff was very friendly. Our room had a kitchen but there were no cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, etc… :(. Not a problem for the price. At the time of booking it did not tell us the kitchen had none. If they had that in the description we would have brought some instead a quick trip to Walmart had us geared up. This place was so inexpensive we did not mind having to provide our our kitchen supplies.

The property was spotless as was the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the room would benefit from a night light. It was blacker than a mine and no light could be left on to remedy this issue.

I’d rather stay here than at a Holiday Inn express or something of that ilk. Beds were great plenty of pillows. Table and chairs actually sit down and eat, a kitchenette where you could cook your meals. And in the bathroom was Good size

I have stayed here many times and in this same room which is handicap accessible. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bed had been lowered to a more reasonable height for a handicapped individual. Now, if they could upgrade the mattress to a pillowtop or memory foam for a bit more comfort, it would be perfect.
It was really nice to be able to simply sit on the side of the bed without requiring a stool to climb up onto the mattress. The bathroom had grab bars for the toilet and tub. There was a handheld shower as well. The room was conveniently close to the elevator on the second floor. I love having an ice maker in the full-size fridge. The only disappointment during this trip was when I returned late Friday night to find my key would not open the room door (my friend's key also did not work for her room). The front desk clerk was kind enough to bring me up a new key card.

Price is high for having no breakfast. There’s no ice machine. There’s a nice kitchen, but no plates or pans or anything to really use it. My mom asked for a handicap room near elevator and she got a room far from the stairs that was not handicap.

Nice new hotel with very competitive prices. Though stayed two nights, our extended stay room had terrific amenities. With an Aldi across I-96, you're all set, if needed. My Place is a good place! Would highly recommend as a great deal!

Some construction going on, but ultimately they are making the place better. It is in a convenient location, and the fee for bringing a pet is beyond reasonable. We had no issues in our room, and was impressed with the cleanliness and quality, given the price. They had a full fridge, and a mini range, so I could see some benefits if one had to stay for a longer period of time than a weekend.

Hotel is currently under construction, the second floor is shut down so you’ll hear noises all throughout your stay. Half of the third floor is under construction and while painting was being done during my stay - none of the windows were opened and I had a full blown asthma attack from the fumes. My asthma has been dormant for years and the fact that a stay I paid for caused a flair up and I wasn’t even warned painting was being done in a hallway I had to walk through. I also booked a regular room and I was placed in a handicapped with significantly lower beds that were uncomfortable to get out of. The air conditioning makes a lot of noise to the point you have to turn up the tv. To finally top it off - during my first stay at the hotel my room was entered with a do not disturb sign and the general manager went through all of my belongings(because there is only one luggage cart.) STAYERS BEWARE OF MY PLACE. Attached are some photos of the construction happening.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and extremely affordable. It is clearly not an upscale hotel, but quite new and tastefully furnished, We liked the kitchenette and layout of the room. We had never heard of this hotel chain before and we were pleasantly surprised with the value during our stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to get away from the stress of our lives. Had a wonderful night and was completely quiet the whole time throughout the hotel. It was very nice.

We were charged for our service animal. Asked for that back and front desk woman started yelling at me. She said we trashed the room and it smelled like weed. Not even possible! We have always smoked outside. I asked for manager, was told he would be there soon. Couldn't refund without him. I was beyond upset. I asked her to call him, she refused. Another employee came out, spoke to us kindly, said he would call the manger and he did. Meanwhile, the front desk woman suddenly could take the charge off. Returned it right then. No manager needed after all. The young man told us the manager would be calling us, though he did have meetings all day. Hmm. Thought he was gonna be there soon. ...Just sucked to not be asked before yelling at me. I am not at all saying that I didn't raise my voice, bc I did. She was extremely unprofessional to say the least. Won't be back. But honestly I am sad about that. Bc staff has always been kind before this.

Booked wrong date and an hour later they wouldn't let me change it after I've been there numerous times.

Check-in was relatively simple, but when we got in the elevator there was a sign that says second floor temporary closed for renovations...and yet we were booked on the 2nd floor. The hallway just beyond us had visible studs and missing walls. Ok, we understand you have to work around guests, but maybe don't post the floor is closed and then assign people a room there?
The 2nd room key we had didn't work. Again, not major, but...
Despite saying full kitchen, there are NO plates, utensils, glasses, pans to cook, etc. Apparently, "No. We've never provided those things. People bring their own." SERIOUSLY? Who goes to a hotel and travels with their own pots and pans? Their own silverware? She seemed to think this was common. I've NEVER stayed anywhere with a kitchen, full or limited, that didn't have utensils, plates and glassware.
Then, despite there being very few people staying there (we saw no one else and there were few cars in the lot), they put people in the room next door (an adjoining room if you wanted to open the doors between)--people who weren't exactly quiet and who smoked a now-legal substance (in a non-smoking room!) to which I am allergic. We did call down and I think someone asked them to quit, but really...if the place is mostly empty, don't put people who are not together in adjoining rooms. It's unnecessary and really just not thoughtful.

Unsure how the published rating was secured. The property lacks a gym. Never been in a hotel without a gym ever. It is less than basic for amenities. The room is small. It is clean, yes.It does have a HUGE fridge and a stovetop, YES. But they are pretty much useless as amenities.The hotel's bucks are misplaced. Useless amenities in the room for a few overnight stays, but nothing else- pretty much substandard. I vowed to NEVER stay in this property ever again.
