We liked sightseeing places related to Lucy Moud Montgomery. It is a great location.

DO NOT STAY HERE full of bugs. kid at front desk said he could not say for sure no more bugs would enter throughout the night. The owner doesn't return calls. We left, did not stay and called my visa to dispute the charges.

The room was clean. It has everything we needed to prepare meals and enough fridges! Beds were fairly comfortable. The houser keeping staff tried to be helpful but g for some, the language barrier was an issue! The outside stairs were potentially dangerous and could use a renovation!

For the limited time I seen the staff they were nice and friendly I’ll give them that, but as for the premises itself not so good, it looks extreamly rundown, as soon as we entered the room you were greeted with a musty smell, there was no way 2 beds should have been put in that tiny room, and it was extreamly outdated, the surface around the pool did not look to friendly in the least bit and I would not even let the kids in it, it was that bad we only used the place to sleep and took off as soon as we woke up , when we got back there to go to bed it looked closed down no lights on anywhere the kids play area had lots of kids outside playing in the complete dark and no way to turn the outside light on out of our door. Would not recommend to anyone

The location is great, and there are only so many options in Cavendish. With about 16 weeks or so a year of traffic, it's likely tough surviving. Unfortunately Anne Shirley's is several years behind on maintaining their property, it's in very rough shape.

Was an older property, but certainly worth what we paid for. All in all we would stay there again for similar price. With some minor reno’s of existing infrastructure it would be much better.

The property needs to be completely replaced. rebuilding would be the only way to improve this property.

We paid for a kitchenette with stove to cook breakfast couple meals stove didn’t work took 25 minutes to scramble eggs still not cooked came to repair still didn’t work toilet had foul smell would not recommend

upon arrival we could not unlock the door as the knob was too loose, an employee noticed us and came to our aid . he had to fix the door knob. After we got it opened it was very stale and musty smelling in the unit. we took our bag in ,opened all the windows that we could , the bathroom one was stuck , we left to join our family . We returned at bedtime . we turned on the ac unit that too loud for us to sleep. Getting read for bed we discovered the flush was very loose at the floor . when i got up at 2 am the bathroom floor was covered in water .and a cockroach was on the floor in main room area . I killed it and went back to bed . I reported this to main desk in the morning before we left for the day. Upon returning for the night on day 2 there was yet another cockroach running around the main room . and upon investigation one in the stick trap under the bed. had i another place to sleep I would have left at this point. the flush was still loose . when i got up at 2am to use washroom the floor was wet a big puddle that I had to use towels to soak up. The towels smelled clean but were vey stained, the pillows were so thin you needed 2 to make1 . checking out the gal at the desk listened to my issues but was not shocked or did not even offer an apology so i think she has heard it all before so i asked for a manager . i called this person and got about the same attitude as at desk. Do not chose this place ,my rating will be 3/10. It was a bed and roof nothing more.

The stay was great! We got a free upgrade. The TV box didn't work but we were not there for TV. All good. Thank you.

Too many bugs, hair in the sheets as well upon arrival and they called and postponed our check in until 2 hrs later but did not compensate for anything.

Close to everything in Cavendish. Not impressed by the person who checked us in. Clean and tidy, but nothing extra.

This property was a mess. I would not let my dog stay there but we were stuck because we prepaid and he would not refund us or the many other people. Some who could aford to just leave and not worry did. One couple arrived and pulled back the bedcovering to find bugs living in the bed. The floor in our room was very dirty. The towels were all stained and no washcloths provided. Ther was a bad odor in the room. There were a number of plugs in one outlet and the microwave being one of them didn't work. When we called for assistance he came and played with the plug causing it to spark. When i informed him it was a fire hazard he laughed at me and walked out. And this goes on. We arrived at our room last night after 8pm to find the door wide open. Apparently left open be the person providing more stained towels. When i called on this he said he didn't think his staff would do that. Just a very bad experience all round that ruined our short stay on PEI. I REALLY WANT A REFUND AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET IT.

Very convenient, you can walk to the beach and park. Room facilities are average. good location

I thought the size of the rooms was quite good and the service was pleasant. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t available at the normal check-in time of 3:30 (we had to wait around for another hour for it to be available) and the pool was shut one of the 2 days that we were there. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.

Building is dated but very nice room pool water was cold

It was a clean motel. The pool was under renovation. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were small but comfortable enough. Easy to find. Motel was near Cavendish beach and other attractions

This is a cute motel, and the location is convenient! Sadly, it is pretty run down, and not very clean. The rooms and beds are small. The pool wasn’t in working order while we were there! I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

The Location of this Motel was great. Overall a good place to stay since we only slept there, the lack of everything else wasnt an issue, however The services where limited and was stated not re-established since Covid. The Room had other peoples hair on Pillow and very old appliances, Fridge, TV and Very noisy air-con, but what stood out more was the hairdryer that did not work, after a few calls still nothing...hmm then all of a sudden it started to work, it was on a weirdly placed light switch for the mirror light. Electrical code ?, it did have a plug that was GFCI, but controlled by the same back wall switch. There was always groups of staff outside congregating and cleaning rooms even when there was only 3 guest in the area, maybe it was a storage area.
