This place was a mess floors dirty as can be gross …the pool is a joke freezing cold looks nothing like the picture when we was in there many families came in and turned right around to leave it’s dark in there looks super creepy …this place does not look like the pictures it shows at all …also DO NOT GO ON THE ELEVATOR IT SHAKES SO BAD MY 8 year freaked out thought we were gonna die the thing shakes when your on it and when you stop it’s even worse she now has PTSD from this with elevators won’t go on them I have videos to prove but can not download a video here

Chose this property dude to its proximity to Children’s Mercy Park. There are plenty of restaurants around with in walking distance and plenty of free parking. The room was fine for the price and the continental breakfast was good. Staff was friendly, I would stay here again.

Super friendly staff. Great breakfast variety. Clean room other than a forgotten wash cloth hanging in the bathroom.

The staff was sincerely friendly at check in, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even got to the room.

Our stay was fine. Nothing special. I’m convinced there may be some mold somewhere on the first floor as there was stains on the ceiling tiles.

No one was at the front desk for 15 minutes after we arrived to check in. When I called the number listed on desk sign I got an answering machine. Elevator did not work, ice and soda machines inop and a/c in one of the rooms I had booked did not work

Great breakfast…

There were still renovations going on. The staff seemed a bit uneducated. The shower leaked all over the floor. Parking was terrible. The pool area had towels just thrown onto the floor. Waffle iron was broken. Two apples in the bunch were rotting. My pillows smelled rancid.

Interesting. We arrived around 4:00 in the afternoon and waiting for over 45 min to be checked in but NOBODY ever came!! We called the hotel number and looked all around the hotel, including outside, but not one single employee was found. We eventually had to leave to get to a softball game. There were about 20 other guests looking so someone as well. Needless to say, we will never return.

Absolutely horrible service. Our party waited over and hour to check in because there was no staff on site. When we returned 3 hours later to check in, there still wasn’t any staff to check us in. We called a service number to finally have a non-employee check us in.

Literally nobody was working when I got here.

I had a lady check me in that was brand new and no one around to help her. She was having a hard time checking me in because I had prepaid thru expedia. Also, there was no caffeinated coffee in the room or at breakfast. Need more staff.

Pool was not the greatest. Not picked up, no pool towels available, too much chlorine in pool and it was so hot and humid in there. Bathroom could also be cleaned better in room. Overall, room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly.

Expedias rating missed the mark by miles Night clerk, who as hard to regonize in a ripped jacket and no decernibl ID with the hotel had to cut his smoke break short to check me into a room. I was handed a key card while he clerk mumbled something about being locked out of the computer. Hallways had graffitti and/or maintenance notes in red marker scrawled on the wall paper next to nearly every door. The room itself was acceptable. Breakfast buffet had a non-working juice machine and no no regular creamer for coffee. I saw no during breakfast or on my way out of the hotel - not at the buffet and not at the desk. I don't think I've seen a hotel so poorly run and maintained ever.

The facility, the room and amenities were all beautiful and really nice. Things like the body wash was empty In the shower, there were no washcloths with the bath towels, the toaster didn't work, the breakfast items wasn't stocked and there wasn't any staff in the dining area to help and there wasn't anyone at the front desk or a bell to call for assistance to check out. It's a nice enough place, I would return, just be prepared double check everything before you settle in and give yourself extra time to locate staff to help

Why are we still using Styrofoam in the dining area :(

I’ve stayed in a lot of Fairfield’s and this experience was by far the worst. Even though the facility had been updated, there were a lot of issues. Our rooms smelled of dirty mop Water and silver, it was bad enough to where we had to open the windows and blast the fans. The hotel was having lots of electrical issues. My room Had a light what wouldn’t turn off and I had to Sleep the first night by covering the fixture with a shirt. After requesting repairs, it wasn’t fixed and I ended up taking the fixture apart to unscrew the light bulb. In my co-workers room she said it her sheets didn’t seem clean and smelled of another person. We went down in a hurry for breakfast at 7:30am and there wasn’t any food out. We waited 15 minutes and they slowly started to Bring out a few items but we finally just left and had to Eat breakfast on the road. The second night I tried to go Down to work Out in the gym and there was an older gentleman working out in the dark. At first I thought he was doing it intentionally, but then on night two it happened to me and I learned that the staff was turning off the lights without checking to see if the gym was occupied. Additionally the gym equipment was covered in ceiling debris from electrical repairs both nights and never cleaned and the gym towels weren’t restocked so I could do it myself. Also. The elevator reeked of marijuana the entire stay.

The first room i was given, wasn’t even cleaned. The second room, at least the bed was clean. But there was hair in the sink. Didn’t look like the floor was swept or vacuumed. Luckily, we just needed a clean bed to sleep in.

The staff was awesome; great suggestions for Christmas light viewing & dining. Sheets were dirty, as was bathroom floor; staff rectified quickly.

They charged me a cancellation fee AFTER telling me clearly that there is no cancellation fee and refused to honor their word when I inquired.
