El lugar tiene todo lo que necesitas. Es como un mini paraíso en Santa Teresa. Todo es muy limpio, muy bien cuidado y se preocupan de todos los detalles. Me encantó la infraestructura, las clases de yoga, la piscina y los desayunos. Volvería sí o sí.

Correct but please repair room 7 if I remember well and chance policy or display them for yoga tickets

Hostel is nice as well as people. Location is good and équipements are correct.

Shower smells like hell. During a night with lot of rain, water drops inside the room just behind the bed… plus We book tickets for Yoga, unfortunately I could not attend as I had foot pain. Hostel policy do not refund even if it is not noted anywhere, plus we ask if we could take a breakfast and pay thé différence with the yoga ticket.. refused.

Great hostel with amazing facilities

I loved how the stuff handled a small misunderstanding about my check in and the facilities like yoga and surfing instructors working closely with hostel guests.

No aircon in my bedroom which in the country like Costa Rica which is super hot and 9 people in the room should be an absolute standard.

Double charge

I think they charged me for a night when I wasn't there. Under a slightly different name on my credit card. I was going to stay another night and did not check out but when I did go to renew they said they had rented it but I think they charged me anyway

A great place to meet people, do yoga & super well located.

I loved staying at Believe. The place is super nice, the staff is amazing, you have a kitchen you can use and they also have a "bar" where you can order food and drinks - it's super good and prices are reasonable compared to other places in Santa Teresa. The atmosphere is super cool - easy to meet people, it has this hostel vibe, people spend a lot of time in common spaces so you never feel alone. Yoga classes are amazing. It's super well located - you are in the north of Santa Teresa, and it was my personal favorite part.

The common space isn't really big so it can become quickly noisy and make it hard to work remotely from there. Also the yoga deck is beautiful but right in front of some rooms, the pool and next to the common space. Yoga classes are all day long so if you want to relax by the pool, you will hear the classes for example. Same for yoga, you will hear the people speaking at the common spaces. But generally speaking it didn't really bother me too much :) It's too pricey though - but like everywhere in Santa Teresa.

Terrible, 3 of 4 nights smelling shit in our room and garden due to sewer water irrigation.

The crew was friendly, helpful and always happy to provide any information or support you needed. The location is amazing, just in front of an access to Santa Teresa Beach and not in the noisy area of the town, but not far from the restaurants and shops.

We had to leave 2 days before the checkout date because they were irrigating the gardens in-front of our room with sewer. The smell was so bad that the first night we woke up at 3 am just due to the smell, we thought something happened to our room but we found out that it was that irrigation in the garden. We asked the next day an explanation and they said they will fix the problem. In the afternoon they started to irrigate again and the smell was unbearable. Again we ask the front desk for a solution and the next night they did not irrigate. But the 4th night the irrigation started at 12:30am and that was it for me and my partner. The next morning we ask the manager for a reimbursement, and we left the property. The manager understood and gave us back the money for the days we did suffer from the smell and the 2 days we did not stay there. But we found-out that they were renting straight ahead the room knowing that they needed to fix that terrible issue before allowing another guess to stay there. It was room 8 by the way in case you stay in that property. Additionally, the bed was old and truly uncomfortable, the pillows terribles (old and all untangled) and the lights inside the room very poor. In terms of the rest of the infrastructure the yoga area and equipment needs to be renew, the yoga cork blocks are mouldy, the mats old and some of them broken, and there are no bolsters. For a yoga orientated lodge, the yoga equipment was way to poor. After 21 days of holiday in Costa Rica with my partner, this stay was by fair the worst experience we had. Probably one of the worst experience in 20 years of travelling all around the wold. The problems they have are easy fix, I hope they do invest and fix them soon and they stop offering a room for guests with those extremely bad issues.

Amazing location, super close to the nicest part of Santa Teresa beach and a little outside from all the hustle and bustle of main street. still close to restaurants / supermarkets etc. Yoga was amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful, it felt like home. Booked for 4 nights and extended to a week and was sad to leave. The perfect place to arrive somewhere and just relax. The dorms are spacious and the beds comfy.

Dorms get quite noisy quite early, as the windows are open and the kitchen / reception area is right underneath.

Good stay but too loud for yoga

The pool, the common area / restaurant area are nice. Kitchen is well equipped. The bed was comfy and plus for not being a bunk bed. In general as a hotel/hostel, everything was great.

If you join the yoga classes, it is a bit difficult to completely relax due to noise from the main road and people. I would go somewhere else for a class because I found it a bit unsettling that even the staff didn't respect the yoga time and were being loud in the restaurant area despite the class going on 10 metres away. But this is separate from the actual hotel/hostel experience which was great for me. Just a bit bummed about the yoga part. Also, the kitchen is shared with the restaurant chefs which I found a bit odd but they are building a guest kitchen which will make things easier for everyone!

Surf & Yoga - the place to be

Location is great, the ideal place for yoga and surf. It is so close to the beach, and there's always a yoga class available. Love it!

it was fine, nothing special and I wouldn’t stay again.

the property was located close to the beach and was walking distance to several restaurants and supermarkets etc. they replaced our towels and took out our garbage every day.

not as advertised and overpriced. advertised as breakfast included and yoga/surf lessons but you have to pay for everything separately on top of the room price which is already overpriced. beds were super uncomfortable - I have stayed in many hostels and these may have been the worst beds. my back was very sore from sleeping in the bed, and I’m a fit and active person with high pain tolerance and usually pretty easy going about bed comfort levels. also- there is a shared kitchen but staff come to make meals for people ordering food off menu, so it is chaos trying to use the kitchen.
