Room was so small you could barely move around and the entire room was sticky from humidity. It made the floors feel wet. The staff did not speak very good English though they tried. The guy who checked us in was rather unfriendly though. Bathtub had no slip mat in the tub and no rails on the wall. Felt unsafe.

If you’re just wanting a basic place to stay for night, this might do but clearly this place needs major overhaul. Management is from another country originally and maybe the standards are a little bit different. We didn’t eat breakfast because it was only cereal and toast and there wasn’t even milk for your coffee just coffee creamer.

The rooms have been remodeled and are nice and clean. The fact that is hotel is cheap doesn't mean it isn't nice. The staff are great to work with and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

Theu gentlemen who greeted us upon check was welcoming and friendly and always able to answer questions. The breakfast was simple continental style with bagels, toast and cold cereals and OJ and coffee. The room was cozy and quiet.

The room was spacious and clean, quiet and centrally located. The owners were very polite and helpful except we had a problem with the drain in the sink and tub that they did try to repair. There was also several electrical outlets that wasn’t working in the room. The bed was comfortable and clean. It was nice for the price and would stay again in a pinch.

There was no laundry room to wash clothes it was out of order all week and this was supposedl to be available This establishment is zero tolerance for smoking management walks hallways and will call cops.

My smoke detector started beeping at me not long after checking in, so I told the front desk and all they did was remove the detector, leaving me without one in my room. And then at 10 pm someone opened my door. Thankfully I had the extra lock in place, so they weren't able to open it all the way, but someone else had a card to my room. It was a lady bc she said "sorry, my mistake" and left when the door didn't open all the way. When I told the front desk about it in the morning they said no female employees were on the clock at that time. I didn't get an apology or anything.

Good value, no problems. Not fancy, but maintained, had everything we expected. Did not use breakfast, several restaurants, and convenience/liquor store close walking distance.

Parking lot was filled with a load of garbage. An abandoned building adjacent to the motel looked like a drug shooting gallery. The 2nd floor hall was filled with mini refrigerators and upon entering the room we decided we can’t stay here. Exterior doors to the the outside of the building had broken jambs with no locks. Torn, frayed and total lack of carpet in multiple areas. I have called the Emporia fire department to report numerous violations. Will never use Expedia again.

when I arrived with a paid reservation, I was greeted with a sign on the door that state "permenately closed", and no one there and the it is completely shut down.

Floors were sticky drink rings on counters . Ground floor windows did not lock. The sheets were clean and no bugs as I was exhausted I slept after putting barricade in front of window. Did not shower as I felt like I would feel dirtier afterwards.

large room-nice--but nothing in the room was plugged in other than the tv. one light next to bed--was missing--phone wasn't plugged in--other light wasn't plugged in along with the tv and microwave. breakfast was a joke. I wouldn't stay here again

If only needing a place to sleep the comfy beds are a great value but dont expect much else. No water in bath/shower combo and coffee packs without coffee maker made for a crappy start. The paltry offerings for breakfast added insult to injury.

first words from font desk were pretty surly and I had not said a word. I responded with a slow "Well hello and how are you today"? She switched gears after that. Microwave did not work, shower didn't drain, no auto setting on A/C and it was loud, bldg side doors not locked at night, bedding worn out, dim lights in room required me to remove shade to see anything, two microscopic bars of soap, one bath towel... but other than that it was a slice of heaven

Adequate as a stopping point. Lock on door was a bit shaky but we got help and it worked in the end. Next to a bar and grill so nice to walk to get a drink and meal after a long drive

The room was non smoking but even the bed spread and towels smelled of smoke had a hard time sleeping because of smell had a small dog and he says all dogs have to stay on the floor and he charged me for dog when all the other places on Travelocity included that in the price also would not give me a receipt for the room said it was up to Travelocity or expedia was cheap and clean put rude and stunk

I'm usually ok with roughing it a little but this room was very dirty. The word "dump" was written on the place with graffiti. I felt kind of bad because the check-in lady was really nice, but I just couldn't stay there.

I know the hotel Cant control people but it was loud. Neighbors were fighting and heater/ax unit was loud turning off and on. Front desk staff lady was super sweet!
