We enjoyed the overall experience of our stay. We came for one night while in the area for our wedding anniversary. The bed was a little too firm for our liking. There was only one shower towel in our bathroom and the drain in the shower dripped loudly for five to ten minutes after a shower. The room was clean and ready, however, and affordable.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and property. The hotel was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea service in the lobby.

Great simple, clean and accessible spot in Duluth.

Very modern newer construction. Great breakfast choices. We couldn't find a lot of seating as most tables were loaded with dirty plates. Our King room was very compact. I would prefer a little more room for the large price tag on this room. No view of the beautiful Superior. No bathroom fan to cut out the hallway noise. Maybe to eco friendly as the cups provided in the room almost melted away to mush after filling them only 15 minutes prior.

Hockey parents partying in lobby until 2am while kids under 10yrs old ran the hotel. On 3 floors. Not just one. When complained, the front desk said their was nothing they could do about it. That they can’t ask the parents to parent their children. Two night of no sleep. Kids running up and down hallways, jumping off furniture, yelling. Front desk said that this just come with the territory when hockey families stay. That they are just bad parents and we had to live with it. It was so out of control. We have never in 10 years of traveling dealt with anything this bad and the hotels staff’s lack of help to manage the situation. The lobby looked like a daycare most of the time. In addition to this, our room was still dirty when we checked in. I cleaned out the fridge and brought the food to front desk, cleaned the dirty shower out, and after waiting patiently til day 2 for cleaning people to refill the empty soap bottles in the shower, had to go down and get it myself. And beds are rock hard. Also watched the breakfast lady, using her hands, scoop the sausages in handfuls into the pan and used her hands to refill the egg omelettes. Just gross. So needless to say, this place was awful. First time at a Tru Hotel and worst experience to date! Oh and your pancake machine is junk!!

Excellent stay. Reasonably priced as well. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will be happy to stay here again!

Excellent stay! We were greeted by the friendliness most accommodating staff and the visit just got better from there. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great. Good coffee and a lot of amenities. Fantastic lobby area. Only thing missing is coffee in room and a hot tub! Girls also found pool too cold for their liking. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

Staff was very polite and efficient. Breakfast was adequate for our hockey team. Good areas for team and family to gather. Would stay here again.

Room and shower dirty. Food residues on the floor. Poor noise insulation between rooms and to the outside and hallway. Dirty carpets. Please, stay away from this hotel.

The soap and conditioner dispensers inside the shower were empty. It’s frustrating that you are all wet and to find out that there’s no soap. Also no internet connection all night.

Nice, newer property. The staff was attentive and quickly responded. They offer the ability to text with the front desk which provided quick responses vs calling. Breakfast was decent, although the weekday food was better then the weekend. The room was clean overall but had several areas they clearly didn't check or clean very ofter. A few crumbs on a chair, some smearing on the back of the bathroom door and the bathroom fan vent looked like it had never been cleaned. We would stay here again but a little more attention to cleaning details would go a long way

Mostly clean with only a few issues I spoke to front desk about. Maybe repairs in the hallways could have been made sooner though. Beds were ok. Would have been nice to have a microwave in room and they could have told me about the hold on my account when I checked out and not been rude when I called to ask about it.

The staff is so helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean except the shower has rust in the corners. The breakfast was good, the Grandkuds lived rhe pancaker maker! The pool is small but clean and warm

People at front desk where amazing

Overall, very happy with our stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a good selection for breakfast. Liked that it had vinyl flooring compared to many hotel options with grungy carpeting. Only complaint would have been thin walls and floors/ceilings-could hear kids running around all night.

Wheelchair shower leaks all over.

It was clean and modern. The TV didn’t seem to work but we didn’t care. The main issue was that the bed was very firm. Everything else was great!

Out of the hotels control, but there were hockey teams staying who completely took over the breakfast area, no where to sit, kids yelling and screaming at each other by the pool table, we were barely able to get an breakfast and when we finally were able to fight for one bagel, we had to bring it to our room to eat, which meant one cup of coffee, unless we wanted to go back and forth from the end of the fourth floor and down to refill. Our beds were so hard that sleeping was impossible, and I got up (not woke, because sleep was impossible) I had some sort of bite behind my ear which is swollen and red
