Trying to be fancy without practicality- no service - lengthy account setup and not that clean linen. The location is great for business in Cambridge - and if you go to the lobby level restaurant, don’t order the celery octopus (worst in a long time), but the rest of the food is ok. Overall, probably choosing other options in the future

Overall, not great.
Check in is contactless which they somehow made so complicated that when we arrived there was a lobby full of people on their phones figuring out how to check in. Once you check in, there’s no room key but a code for your door. That’s fine, but it’s EIGHT digits and not easy to remember, so you better hope you don’t get locked out of your room without your phone, because there’s no one in the lobby to let you back in to your room.
As for the room itself, it’s fine. Small and tidy but nothing to write home about and certainly not worth the cost.
The one thing I did like was the location. Super walkable and lots of restaurants nearby

Sonder 907 is in a fantastic location, right in Cambridge and surrounded by an array of bars, restaurants, and cafes. The building itself is beautiful, and the lobby is clean and stylish. The room was small and had nice design elements. The Roman shades on the windows looked nice, but they did not effectively block out the morning sun. Unfortunately, the shower was disappointing, with water barely trickling out and no pressure. During our three-night stay, we didn’t receive any housekeeping and had to request clean towels. Would not stay again.

This was a great stay the receptionist was so nice she made conversation with us and was so helpful. The room was great it was pretty clean! Loved the view and it wasn’t bad.
There was some hair in the shower and bed nothing to bad but for those who are a little bit on the cleaner side that might be a no for you. Other than that it was a beautiful stay. !

This hotel is for people that are tech friendly. Everything is done via the app. Not much human connection at all. I personally like the human touch but that's me. The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. If you prefer not to talk to anyone, then this brand of hotels might be what you're looking for.

There were many wonderful things about this hotel. However, I slept terribly because of the dreadful sheets: they were so "crisp" (for want of a better word) that it felt like sleeping in paper, or fabric that has been waterproofed. So, despite the attractive room and bathroom, the otherwise comfortable bed, the perfectly pleasant lobby and the surprisingly trouble-free check-in, I am very, very unlikely to return to this hotel or another Sonder property (unless they can tell me they have better sheets). Sorry.

Loved everything about this hotel; loved the essentials stations in the hallway, loved the cleanliness, and most of all the bed gave me some of the best sleep of my life. Will definitely return next time I’m in Boston!

I was a little bit hesitant due to the DIY nature of this hotel, but it all worked seamlessly. I received my entry code and my room via email 48 hours before I checked in and it also appeared in the app once I registered the reservation.
The room was large with a king sized bed and a nice sitting area near the window. The bathroom was a tad small, but workable.
Everything was extremely clean and modern looking. The room had plenty of outlets but no USB plugs.
My only real complaint is the fact the "blackout shades" let in a lot of light in the morning.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Sonder. The location was great, there were supplies on every floor, and the design of the room was very modern, but there are two things that I am dissatisfied with.
Firstly, the staff member who helped me check in had an attitude. I tried to check in at 1:30 PM and she asked me to input my credit card information on my phone. Even though I told her beforehand that my phone was about to die, she said, "I don't know how to help you, usually people do it themselves." After waiting 30 minutes for another staff member to help me, I asked if she could update the early check-in charge since I officially checked in at 2:00 PM. She completely disregarded my request and did not explain how to get to my room or provide the brief explanation she gave to the people she was helping previously.
Secondly, the bed sheets had noticeable stains from previous guests, which raised concerns about their cleanliness and sanitation.
Given these issues, I kindly request a change/waiver of the early check-in charge. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter.

Renovated hotel room was small but in great condition; comfi bed and brand new bathroom. The check in online was smooth and easy but I would have preferred to have the option to select my room. The reviews indicated that certain rooms were exposed to "vibrant" restaurant noice. Yes, indeed.The noise level was not too bad at 7-8pm but I am a bit sensitive....

Small but clean room. Check in was easy; nice front desk staff. Nice location. Very noisy! Music all hours of the night, every little noise from adjoining rooms and hallway could be heard. Sheets did not fit the bed and kept coming up, making it very uncomfortable. I asked for a blanket but none could be found. No Netflix on the tv. Shower was very hot and lovely; water and ice in hall a nice touch. Sonder is fine but the lack of a blanket, terrible bedding and noise means I would not stay at this location again.

I had a two-night stay at the hotel. I planned to work from hotel, but the internet went out and well as cable the first night (Friday 1AM) I was there, and the internet was never restored. As result, I had to go to coffee shops and McDonald's to conduct limited work due to privacy. In addition, I had schoolwork which I could not do when I needed to do it. There was never an update on the status from anyone in the hotel. In these times, internet is a staple for travelers. There should a partial refund for the lack of communication on the situation which caused inconvenience for customers staying there those nights.

Sonder does NOT have parking. They requested to check in by sending them cc and driver's license process and they send you a code. This was done as part of securing the room and they mail you a code... essentially they strive on having no personal touch and minimizing human contact. Not a big fan of this type of experience.

It definitely felt safe. I liked that you could ask a question when you needed something, and usually quite resourceful.
What I didn't like as much was the information on how to get new towels. I stayed for a week, and there were supposed to be towels on the 2nd, third and 4th floors, in the essentials closet, but there were never any. I had to hunt them down from the cleaning staff, and they had to find a full set on the various different floors, so it took some time. If you are staying for a week, you should have complimentary towels, half way in. You should also have at least one complimentary cleaning during that time frame, not have to pay for it, if you want it. You should also have someone come in a take out the garbage/recycling once in that time frame, not have to be responsbile for it yourself. The bags don't fit in the various compartments for garbage and recycling even with putting a knot in the bag to make it smaller. The bathroom door kept closing on us, and the only way to stop it, was to bunch up a towel. We also had a fire alarm during one of the nights around midnight - it would be good to acknowledge it with an email the next day. So overall, it was an average stay, and the staff seemed helpful and friendly.
