Very sloppy place -- very rundown and not recognizable as a Hilton -- with remarkably careless and "couldn't care less" staff of which there are too many -- even though most are just standing around idle, making excuses/pleading helplessness and doing very little to be of service to the guests. Extremely loud outdoor concerts every night from 7:00 to 11:00pm such that you can not escape the noise and your room practically shakes... Lousy food, poor presentation, and inconvenient hours if you want to eat anything but hot dogs and French fries during the hours that management deemed ALL the restaurants should open...and since there's effectively NO Room Service and no shop onsite, you're stuck eating hotdogs and fries between the opening times of their restaurants. If you're looking for a rundown place with bad furnishings and poor, dim lighting that budget-conscious families who let their kids run around screaming, in between the ridiculously loud entertainment, you'll be fine.

The service was worse than awful. Before making the reservation, I read plenty of comments complaining about the service. I thought, "Perhaps these bad reviews are the result of isolated situations," but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The entire personnel, not just one or two people, had this very bad attitude, long face, and total unwillingness. They even neither said hello nor goodbye, the essentials. This will be my first and last stay at this hotel. And by the way, dear hotel staff: don't bother writing back with apologies, etc. when it's clear you don't care about your guests and providing acceptable (not even fair) service standards.

We stayed 5 nights at Mangroves Corendon. Parking is free onsite - you have a front lot with about 10 spots (we lucked into a spot here a few times) and a larger parking garage that you share with the sister resort. There is a gate to get in and out which is nice so you feel safe. The resort was beautiful - our room had a comfy king bed and was very clean… we had a great corner room with a view of the water and resort. We sat on the balcony most nights to watch and see the performers at night. The food and drinks were good, and really enjoyed how fast and friendly the service was. Dushi sushi- the sushi menu is very limited but was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but was nice to not eat the buffet. Ristorante Siciliano- we were a little disappointed that they were out of quite a few items on the menu which limited us to a few options overall. I’d check with them before you commit as we left and went to the buffet to get seconds. The buffet has lots to offer and was really quite good (I’m a fairly picky eater), I really loved getting a fresh made omelette in the mornings and even the pasta station at night. Seafood tavern was closed the whole time we were there which was a bummer.. & we didn’t eat at the BBQ place either. Lots of great places for pictures & you can use your wristband to wander to the sister resort next door which had a very nice upscale outdoor bar that we really liked. Slides were fun!! The resort was very close to Punda & would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful and there was a unique culture. All of the staff members spoke multiple languages and they were kind to us guests. I have seen some reviews where people complain about the wait time for getting drinks and it can feel extended but it would be the same at any bar with several patrons. Jahwi was the best! He was engaging with the guests and kept the mood upbeat during the entertainment nights, plus he was a really good listener and friend to all guest. I will add this review to google as well. Could not recommend this hidden gem more.

The property could use se work, food options were available, however it was the same things everyday with the exception of a few rotations,it would be nice to include cultural/ local cusine as a dining option. I was stuck in my room because the lock would not open, noone answers when you hit 9 for the reception from the phone in your room. I saw rat on two different occasions at the main restaurant. My blinds would not close all the way and TBH i didn't even call anyone. I feel these are things that a guest shouldn't have to complain about just make sure minor things like that are working. I wouldn't stay here again.

The resort was clean and very safe to walk at night. We had no problem making reservations with the app that you can download upon arrival Many people say the beach is rocky which it is on one end the other end is perfect so water shoes can be recommended but not necessary. They don’t offer much of a nightlife, There is a centerstage where they do have entertainment and karaoke, but that’s it. Food was good what I said exceptional no, but it was definitely good and you will not go hungry.
