Friendly hostess, lovely room, quiet, great location

The owners of this Inn are so friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them. They are so proud of the work they've done over the past two years to upgrade this property, a small, quiet Inn just a few minutes' walk from downtown Lanesboro. I would certainly stay here again. Oh, and they allow dogs in certain rooms so I could travel with my Chihuahua!

The room was exactly what we wanted.

Great stay. Great hosts.

Loved the outside seating areas, enough so that if you needed to get out of the sun, you could find shade and a breeze. The gardens are beautiful, and since so many come to Lanesboro to bike, you meet the other friendly guests who are ready to share their biking stories. These are new owners, second Summer here so are working on updating the rooms. We were in Java, plenty of space in the room and had a drop leaf table that could be used for cards-games on a rainy day. Just 2 blocks to the Visitors Center and so many places to eat nearby. If they add grab bars for the tub/shower I would give it 5 Stars.

We loved our stay! Such a cute, quaint hotel. Loved our room and the gardens are beautiful. The many seating area's outside with table games, added to our ability to sit together outside and relax under the stars. The staff/owners were so nice. Location was perfect, everything walking distance. We WILL be back!

My friends and I rented the Family and Cappuccino Suites, which was perfect. The Cappuccino Suite gave us a full kitchen with a large kitchen table. Plenty of room for eating, talking, and games. Walk out the door to the beautiful flower gardens and more gathering spaces. The new owners have done a wonderful job making this Inn welcoming and beautiful. With ample parking in the back of the Inn for our cars and bikes, it was a great launching spot for an afternoon of biking on the excellent bike trail down the street from the Inn. Although I do not frequent this area often, I think another visit to Lanesboro and the Coffee Inn in the fall is in the future. Thank you, Carrie and Rich, for your gracious hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay at the Coffee Street Inn, everything was very clean and beautiful gardens to enjoy. However, if you are expecting a hot cup of coffee in the morning you won't get it here. There are no coffee pots in the room, only instant coffee to make. I guess coffee is available in the office on weekends. Great place to stay though.

The whole experience with small town owners and their friendly and helpful personality gave us such a joy to spend the weekend. Will recommend friends and family!

Conveniently located in a fantastic fishing area. Fly shop around the corner! Good restaurants. What else does a person need?

Was unable to check in! No one at the office, no one answered the phone. Tried to contact them for over two hours. Had to find another place to stay.

The bed was very comfortable and the shared yard area very nice. The owners were very helpful during checking with suggestions on places to go and eat.

They except dogs which was important to us. The property was close to the main area that we where able to walk rather than drive. We had a very nice deck right out from our room which was furnished well and comfortable to spend time outside. Our room was clean and bright appearing to had been newly redone. The property owners more than met all our needs. It was enjoyable.

The most friendly, accommodating place EVER!!! I had booked the Coffee Street Inn for two nights, not knowing if my sister-in-law could join me. It worked out she could and I was thrilled!!! When I arrived and ready to check in, Carrie changed my room to accommodate my sister in law joining me, and gave me a single room my last night. I even had extended my stay before even arriving and Carrie and Rich made it so perfect!!!! New owners and their Vision for this place is amazing. Looking forward to seeing what changes have been made after a year!!! Their passion in running this Quaint Inn is absolutely amazing and so welcoming to such a beautiful friendly town!!!
Don’t miss those amazing trails!!!!
I’m never one to miss a day, but next year can’t come sooner for another amazing stay at the Coffee Street Inn!!!
Thank you Rich and Carrie for a friendly family stay!!! See you soon!!

Inn was great - owners very friendly & helpful- only downside was a lot on dining venues closed early or not open on Monday or Tuesday- had to go out of town to find food

We had a lovely time by the Coffee Street Inn. For owners who were barely on the job for a month, they did an excellent job of making us feel at home. The room was sparkling clean, a very important factor for me. The pull out bed was very comfortable...not at all, as one expects from a pull out couch. We came to enjoy a lot of biking the trails and were able to do exactly that. One trail entrance is only a couple blocks from the inn.

What is not mentioned in any of the descriptions, is that this hotel is located one block from a huge cattle auction. You can hear the sad cows bellowing throughout the night. If you open your windows, you smell manure. Hardly peaceful. It's a great public service announcement for going vegetarian.

We loved the entire place overall, it was very quaint. The fireplace was a nice feature. The whirlpool tub was very relaxing. The only suggestions we would have would be having better seating for watching tv, and we did miss not being able to shower. The air mattress was okay, we would have preferred an actual bed, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The town itself does not have many dining choices in the winter, which we didn’t realize being first timers, but having the full kitchen really did come in handy for that!

Right by the bike path! Walk to town. Simple, clean, quiet.

Beautiful and well maintained property. Right in the middle to town and close to shops, trails etc. I will be coming back to the Coffee Street Inn!

Good location. Very small room. Uncomfortable bed and tiny tv that shut off randomly and needed rebooting

Nice place to stay. Very close to bike trail and downtown. Owner was friendly and accommodating.

Be VERY aware of all room specifications. We booked a room which by all appearances was small, but HAD its own bathroom. We arrived to the destination & found out that this was 1 of 3 rooms that shared a bathroom. When I broached the topic with the owner, she was immediately defensive & commented that we need to work with the 3rd party (Expedia) if we're upset about it. She did not deny that the room description may not have presented the room in the correct light but that since its a 3rd party - she felt zero culpability.

Room was very small and sharing of bathroom, not a fan

Clean, neat and convenient. Right on the trail and a block from downtown.

The price on Tuesday was $85. On Wednesday it was $125. Wednesday is not part of the weekend. I don't think the price increase was justified. The air conditioner is too loud.

I was fine. Thought I had read it had a kitchen but I was mistaken. So were close to the bike trail and bike rental. We took a double recumbant. Not sure if that is how you spell it but I sitting bike with two seats behind each other. Very Fun. Great get away. Simon

Very Clean. Not alot going on around the area due to COVID 19 and MN just opening that week.
