We had a wonderful stay at The Room in the Garden. Our room was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. Janine was such a welcoming host and she made us a delicious breakfast in the morning.

A beautiful room in a garden, in a quiet secluded area. Offroad parking, excellent shower, and a bed so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it.
A short walk to the city centre, but a bus stop nearby for those who don't want to walk.

Two minor nitpicks - the tea from the Krups machine was horrible, and I would have much preferred to have a kettle and teabags. The hanging space was fine for one person for two nights, but might not have been sufficient for two people staying for longer. But the room was lovely and the host(s) delightful.

We really enjoyed meeting Janine and Mark (and Benji of course!) They are super hosts, so helpful and friendly and we felt very relaxed during our stay.
The Room in the Garden is stunning, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. My wife has some mobility issues and she found it very accessible, only a couple of steps to reach the room and a small step up to the large shower area.
We cannot recommend this accomodation highly enough and we will certainly book again.

Beautifully presented property, and Janine was very easy to deal with in terms of key collection, breakfast etc. The room itself was nicely thought out, and the furnishings were done with taste and care. Continental breakfast was excellent. No negatives to report at all - thank you very much!!

This is a beautiful luxurious, immaculate and cosy bedroom and shower room, situated in the host's garden. Janine and Mark are excellent hosts, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed chatting while eating our delicious and varied breakfasts in their kitchen/diner. Janine really has thought of everything and provides lots of extra touches to make your stay special. We appreciated being able to park on the drive and walk into Salisbury to explore. We were so happy we booked this room.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Room in the Garden on a recent trip to Salisbury with my Mother and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Janine and Mark were excellent hosts, making sure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable.
The room itself was incredibly cozy and modern, with all the amenities we could have asked for. The cleanliness of the space was particularly impressive; everything was spotless and well-maintained.
Overall, I cannot recommend The Room in the Garden highly enough. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay with wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. Thank you Janine and Mark for a wonderful experience!

We had had an excellent stay here. Janine and Mark were excellent hosts. The room was nicely decorated and in great shape. It is about a 30 minute walk to the historic area of Salisbury. I would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation is first rate with quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfy. The patio area was very welcome during the heat wave that occurred during our stay, giving lots of shade. The best feature was the hosts who looked after our every need and always had a pot of tea available upon our return from our travels.

Highly recommended if you fancy staying somewhere a little different to the usual chain hotels!

We stayed there for 2 nights as we had a wedding nearby in Hale Park. Everything was really to a high standard and Janine and Mark made our stay very welcome. The shower was luxury and the bed very comfy but such a shame we could not sit outside in the patio area as it rained in the mornings but did not dampen our days. The area was really quiet to stay in and the breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

The super king sized bed was so comfy with fresh, crisp bedding. We had a hairdryer and a supply of tea and coffee. The modern bathroom had a wonderful shower. The Room is exactly what it says it is, in the Garden of the home of Janine and Mark, but we had our own large patio area and our own privacy. We had breakfast each morning in the kitchen of their home. Janine provided a selection of cereals, pastries, home made yoghurt and fruit along with tea, coffee and juice. She offered flexibility on the time of breakfast, depending on our plans for the day. We looked forward to chatting to Janine each morning as she shared her local knowledge with us. She was able to advise us about where to visit and the best places to eat. From their home it was probably about a 30 min easy walk into Salisbury. The city has a lot to offer and we enjoyed exploring it. We were made very welcome by Janine and Mark and we would certainly stay again.
