This place is AMAZING! My stay here is phenomenal with the cleanliness, the privacy, NO OUTSIDE NOISE, the comfort of a mini split AC unit thst is perfect when arriving back into your room. The most favorable part was STEPS away from the bus station. Ideal when travelling to or from Puerto Vallarta. That is how I get around. Close enough to walk everywhere in this quaint, adorable little village of Sayulita. Highly recommend!

The staff were all very pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had everything needed for a short or long stay.

The property was great. The pool is kid friendly with a section they can play in. Room has cold a/c and walkable distance to downtown life. We left our car parked at the hotel and walked everywhere. The staff was polite and friendly. Pool closes at 10 and the hotel is pretty quiet after that. Recommend this hotel.

Local families drinking and playing music around the pool until late. Noisy and uncomfortable situation. Place was nice enough.

Property was cleam and quiet. Staff was rude and unfriendly.

Everything was perfect right from the time we booked this hotel. Check in was seamless, staff is super friendly and the whole property is spotless. We had a family suite on the bottom floor and it was perfect, lots of room for our 3 young kids. There is plenty of bottled water on each floor, a good pizza shop attached to the building plus a convenience and beer store less than a minute walk up the street. It is a great place for a family, laid back atmosphere and fairly quiet. The pool was warm and had the perfect mix of sun or shade. North side beach is about a 7 minute walk (which is way less busy than the main beach) and the main square downtown Sayulita is about 9 minutes. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this property, we will be back forsure!

Loud music across the street from the property

This is a great hotel if you’re on a buget. It’s new and very well kept, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with a kitchenette. The beds are also comfortable. It’s about a 15 min walk to all the action, or 70 peso cab. The only complaint is the pool is in the center so it gets noisy, we had lots of kids there during our stay. The pool I thought was going to be indoor but it’s open roof and gets sun so you can still tan however there is no breeze so it’s hot! Overall I would stay here again if I was to visit Sayulita.

It's a great spot. Love that they have filtered water, pretty quiet place, love that the rooms are suites with little kitchennette

The room had no windows!!! A glass slider door into the main area but that’s it. Depressing overall.

Our youngest daughter loved the pool. I liked that they have a washroom to use in the pool area. We liked how bright and colourful it was though inside the rooms is fairly dark when the sun is down. It was fairly quiet in our room. We appreciated being able to watch Netflix on TV.
The sayulita beach has an extreme amount vendors, but the town is really fun to walk around. Great restaurants nearby.

This was a super cute hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool and we felt safe and comfortable there.

We loved our stay at the Riviera Sayulita. The hotel is very clean, staff were attentive and helpful. It was right beside the bus stop so that was handy to get around to other towns. The full kitchen was handy for our little family as it allowed me to make some snacks or a quick breakfast. There's a nice pool but we didn't get to use it as we were at the beach most of the time. Something to note is that it is a bit of a walk into town and to the beach. Doable but some families might have kids that are not good walkers and this might be an issue. Thank you Riviera Sayulita for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is just a short walk to the downtown area but allows for a little reprieve from the loud and fun nightlife of Sayulita.
Bottled water and water bottle refill stations are available.
The communal pool area could be a bit noisy but we didn't have any issues during our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was lovely and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Great smaller property. Staff was wonderful and kept the property clean and welcoming. Really great value and easy walking into town. Right next to the bus drop off from PV airport - super easy commute.

Great location, right by the bus terminal which made life very easy when arriving and departing. Room was spacious and clean but a few things left to complete. Lots of bottles of water in the room which was appreciated. Walking distance to busy areas of town.

It's a small boutique hotel with a pool in the middle in a courtyard setting. Pro: you open your door, the pool is right there. Cons: sound echoes! If there are kids or an inconsiderate group of people during your stay, the peace is out of the window.
6.0
Convenient location, clean and very nice staff. Great pool, close to less expensive dining options and a nice 10 min walk through the heart of Sayulita to get to the beach. It’s also on the main road in and out of town, right at the location where people accelerate with their vehicles and motorcycles, and next to the bus stop and grocery stores, which have early morning deliveries. And a very ambitious rooster across the road. If you stay here, ask for the rooms facing away from the street. We were on the top floor facing the street. Also, the patio door latch was broken, so the door couldn’t lock, and the in room safe was inoperable. Also, the water smells like poop, but I expect that was the case everywhere in Sayulita.
Staying in the heart of Sayulita likely would have been just as loud. The exception being a beachfront hotel. The town is VERY busy at all hour. Run by the cartels and one of the most expensive places I’ve travelled anywhere in the world. There are locations with well priced meals and drinks, but you have to seek them out. Most places only take cash, and most of the bank machines don’t work or are rigged to rip you off.
Th beach is beautiful, but mostly too rough to swim. (In December). Snorkeling was a busy and had to pay for a boat trip to do snorkeling of any quality.

We really enjoyed our week stay here. It was really quiet, great AC, cute pool and lounging area and only a 5 minute walk to the plaza. Conveniently located next to the bus station as well. Note that there is no restaurant or bar on site, but lots close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Mucho Gracias!

The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. I was traveling with my father who is in a wheel chair and they made it as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Riviera Sayulita was a great hotel! It was small and personable. Emma and Lucila were the front desk attendants and were great with communicating and accommodating our needs! It was also walking distance from everything in town and the beach!

The hotel is small and cute. Was close enough to town but away from the night life. We did have a few discrepencies during our stay but the staff was always helpful. There was construction during our stay, and the bar/grill area was closed because of this which wasn't disclosed until we got there. That was a bit discouraging because we would have loved to hang by the pool and enjoy a few drinks.

Stayed there before and had a great time. It just seemed a little run down compared to last time, even though they were making construction for improvements. Just that for the price it should really be nicer. And the smell of the laundry detergent was overwhelming. Staff was amazing. Just might stay somewhere else.

Loved the people working there, very clean, next to bus depot an added bonus. Not right in town but that was a positive...nice and quiet. Easy walk to town and beach.

Location is not where it says on Expedia. Be sure to actually look up location. This property is located on the East side of the bridge. We wanted something in town, this was not in town. Be sure to check location. Property is nice and clean. Pool was nice. Just wish it was in a better spot.

Great location...very clean and friendly staff.. everything is walking distance pretty much or you can rent their golf carts for $50 a day which is very reasonable and super fun.
