Great location to city centre as well as the train station! Close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants and to get away by just 2-3 short blocks. Room was large and spacious. My only ding, would be the the bed. Not the comfiest, but decent size! Fluffy pillows. Great contact working with me to get checked in as well as out-processing. I had thought I had booked a few of the water, but was happy with the balcony. I’d stay again!

The manager Francesco is very helpful to assist us on our request. He went extra miles to help us look for driver to Amalfi when the ferries were being cancelled for 2 days continuously. Even though we didn’t managed to get a driver from him but he is really great in help! He also messaged us from time to time to find out if we are good with the stay, very thoughtful of him. Recommend to stay here!

This was in a great location within walking distance to the train station & the main square. We had a great view off our balcony. The only problem we had with it was that we had a terrible time locating it because there is no signage outside except beside the door, and the building looks like an apartment building instead of a hotel. We walked there from the train station and kept walking past it because we didn't see it. There is no hotel lobby so you communicate with customer service via phone. Other than that, it was very nice.

The property is conveniently located with a great view. We had some difficulty locating it but the staff was immediately available by text and showed up quickly to help. The only downside is that the walls are VERY thin.

This was an amazing place to stay prior to our departure from Rome. It was a perfect day of R&R on the beach after a busy vacation. The staff was amazing and the hotel absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. Ten stars.

Sunset Home is excellently located - barely 5 min walk from the city centre and all the action in terms of restaurants, pubs etc. The owner Francesco is super helpful and always available on WhatsApp.
However this is more of a cross between a hotel and an air bnb in the sense, that there is no reception.. no concierge.. no front desk etc and you need to liaise everything directly with Francesco.
Also the room I had selected said, “balcony with a sea view” - that’s a bit of an exaggeration. The balcony is nice and the room is great but the view is not sea view. The sea is at a fair distance from the hotel.
Lastly there isn’t a breakfast option so one needs to keep that in mind. If one is willing and overlook ‘no breakfast’ and ‘no sea view’ it’s a great choice.

Great place to stay in Sorrento. Great view, close to the train station and about 2 blocks from the main piazza. The unit has been recently renovated, so sparkling new bathroom, etc. The balcony has the view with a table and 2 chairs where a person can have a morning coffee, or an afternoon read. First choice for my next stay in Sorrento. Francesco was easy to friendly and deal with via WhatsApp.

Perfect place - great location in Sorrento close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, town square. Room spacious and bedrooms serviced every day. Shower is great and the verandah lounge area is a bonus. Very good value for money.

Our room was nice and the staff is very helpful. We loved being close to Piazza Tasso with all the shopping and restaurants. It's also a short distance from the pier so you can take the ferry to places like Capri and Positano.

Do NOT stay here. After about 5 minutes in the room, we noted mold along several walls, the ceiling, and the air conditioning unit. I am 6 months pregnant, and it was not safe to stay in there. We contacted the staff and they said they were unable to move us to a new room. We then called Expedia, who called the hotel, and sided with the hotel who said they would "fix it". The hotel then wiped out the AC unit and said the problem was "fixed in 2 minutes". They did not even acknowledge the mold on the walls/ceiling. We have pictures of everything. It was clearly a health hazard, and the hotel did not care. They were unwilling to give us a room change, so we booked another hotel and left asap. The only good thing about this property is the location.

We had a great stay, the room was very clean and spacious enough, house keeping service was impeccable, the view from the balcony is beautiful, saw a couple of lovely sunsets. The room is very close to the main train station and an easy 5 min walk to the centre. Would recommend!

Amazing stay! Well designed, super comfortable, beautiful view and helpful staff. As a solo traveler safety is priority and the Sunset Home Hotel is nestled comfortably above ground level, with multiple keyed entries required before arriving at the room. The large balcony is not touching other balcony’s and the rooms features European tilt and turn windows and doors. Staff exceeded expectations with a lovely WhatsApp greeting before arrival and all the suggestions and answers I needed for my stay. I would certainly stay at Sunset home again.

The apartment was great with everything you need.
Small but clean and an amazing location. The only issue would noticed was there was sometimes a drainage smell in the bathroom. However it was Right by the train station and to the local square. Would definitely Recommend and return.

Great location, always really clean and staff were helpful. Only thing I would say is that the rooms aren’t soundproof at all and we often struggled to sleep because of noisy neighbours. Make sure you bring earplugs!

Our host Francesco was super nice and helpful! The apartment was very clean and has a great view from the balcony! Very comfortable stay in Sorrento. Only one note about using the lift.... as it needs a 10cents coin to operate the lift so make sure u have more than one coin with you otherwise you will not be able to use the lift and do not go to -1 floor as the door opens to a metal door which does not let you out and you may risk getting trapped inside a super small lift like us and unless you have coins to get the lift to bring you to another floor..but overall its a very great stay for us and we will come back here again if we return for another holiday in Sorrento!

Was an amazing location and Francesco our host was really friendly and welcoming. He also explained many things to do in the area which was very helpful.I did feel the view was slightly worse than the pictures look as it’s overseeing a car park and Vesuvius is blocked by an ugly building.Overall a good location and friendly host.
