This was our second year staying at the mountain club and we loved it as usual in town for the Oktoberfest at hunter. This year we had a patio to our deluxe suite which was a nice surprise and we will be definitely back soon

Lovely hotel. Walking distance to Oktoberfest event at Hunter Mountain. Great heated pool and hot tubs. Fun fire pit on the patio. Van Winkles restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

The hot tub was not working the first day we arrived. The bed is supposed to be a queen- but it is the SMALLEST queen ever- like the exact size of a full.

Great family oriented hotel in the heart of Hunter Mountain. Clean, friendly staff, nice size rooms, and good bar/dining area for dinner. Overall great stay for the price! (One recommendation to facilities/maintenance staff: shower curtains should be replaced (stains on them).

Has a very nice view of the mountains, is peaceful, clean and close to several hiking trails. Also features a sauna, steam room and pool to relax after our long walks. The staff are friendly and very accommodating

My wife and two of our grandchildren stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with the pull down queen bed. Very comfortable accomodations with full kitchen. Nice room, nice view, friendly front desk staff and close proximity to the Sky Lift up to Hunter Mountain was a plus. We stayed here we wanted to hike to Kaaterskils Falls which was only a 10 minute drive down the main road to the resort. Our grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool as well.

Wonderful facility. After a bad experience at the Minnewaska Lodge we needed to look else where and this place was perfect. Wish the check in was earlier than 4pm, and no breakfast options, but other than that it was terrific.

The place was great BUT the ride from the point where you leave Route 23A and cross the bridge to the hotel itself, i.e. the last 400 yards, is sort of like a war zone or a massive parking lot in an industrial lot with cones showing the way. Not very nice at all.

We had an awful experience at the check in . Paty S was rude with us because she couldn’t find the reservation. It took us 1 hour to solve the problem, that was a mistake that made Krista (the other person at the desk), instead of of searching my last name wich I spelled it to her, they were searching another another last name. The situation was solve thanks to the help of Max, an employee that was very kind and polite.

We had a very nice stay! The Club staff were all terrific, very professional and helpful and we had a delicous dinner at Van Winkle's. In addition, we were able to access the slope/lifts by walking to the end of the parking lot and up a small hill, where we put on our skis and skied down to the lifts (there was a bit of a flat section at one point we had to manage).
We went during mid-week so there was a very relaxed feeling to the mountain with no wait at the lifts. We also had the luck of fresh snow!
One note: most of the mountain takes credit card and Apple/Google pay. We never used cash and the ATM at the Club was out of order.
This is a terrific mountain for beginner skiers. The Learning Center has rentals, lockers and lessons available.

This is a solid, convenient place to stay, if you’re skiing at Hunter Mountain. It is not super luxurious, and feels more like a really nice Extended StayAmerica than a resort hotel. But you can ski out and ski in, and the hot tubs were good. The spa, however, is still closed after more than two years. I do not know why they will not open it back up. And there is no real breakfast option available.

We just got back from a weekend with friends at Kaatskill Mountain Club. We were blessed with great weather and had a wonderful time. We booked the two, 3-bedroom suites in the main lodge, which accommodated our party of 16. Almost everything we needed was provided. We did have to ask for extra towels and garbage bags. Great place to stay though! Our 2nd time!
