From the minute you walk in to check in to check out, you are treated with friendliness and politeness. The room is super clean and well stocked with towels, coffee, tea, cups, plates, etc., all well supplied. The beds and pillows are super comfortable!!!

My stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Largo, Florida, was a nightmare that overshadowed a joyful wedding celebration. I booked two rooms—one for my husband and me from September 19 to 22, and another for the makeup artist from September 20 to 21. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by miscommunication and unprofessional behavior from the staff.
Check-in on September 19 went smoothly, but on September 20 at 4:41 PM, I approached the front desk to check in the second room. Front desk male 1 was confused and indifferent despite my clear explanation, assuring me the artist could check in upon arrival.
When the artist arrived late at 11 PM due to weather delays, she was met with hostility. Front desk male 1 denied her check-in, claiming no reservation existed. When I gave my room number, the situation escalated.
The general manager intervened but refused to check in the artist unless I came downstairs. She then accused the artist of smelling like marijuana—a baseless and racially motivated claim. After much back-and-forth, I convinced her to allow the artist to return at 4:30 AM.
When the artist returned, front desk male 2 apologized for the previous night’s ordeal. This experience left me shaken and forced to pay for a room the artist couldn't use. I hope management addresses this behavior to prevent future issues.

I am not easily impressed, but HOME2 has done it. My wife and I both were impressed with everything about it. From the staff friendliness to condition of room and property to the complimentary breakfast. Everything was great. The only thing I regret is I didn't get the names of the staff that we interacted with so I could give them a shout out. The location of this property was convenient. I have added pictures of the room, they were taken just before we left because I didn't have my phone with me when we first went to the room. They even had luggage carts in the lobby for you to use so you can take your luggage to your room without struggling to try to carry everything. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOME2. This was our first stay here and when we come back to this area it will be where we stay for now on. The price for the room was really reasonable as well. We are looking forward to our next trip / stay.

Great experience with front desk service. Staff very friendly, professional and kind. Very impressed with breakfast; offered many healthy options, non-GMO foods (soy and almond milk), mini bottles of fresh milk. Everything was individually wrapped to ensure maximum cleanliness. Tjank yiu. ☀️

We stayed Friday and Saturday and checked out on Sunday. My first observation was with my new black light flashlight in the bathroom. TBH.I didn’t expect it to be spotless but the sheer amount of obvious urine all over the outside of the toilet bowl, on the floor around the toilet and the wall behind the toilet shocked me. The side of the king-sized bed that was closest to the bathroom had an obvious dip, and it was very uncomfortable for the two of us to try to sleep in the bed together without one of us rolling off. The bottom sheet was covered in fabric pills and the bed had a washed sour sheets smell, like when laundry is forgotten in the washer and started to mildew but they went ahead and stuck it in the dryer. The microwave in the room didn’t work at all and the A/C had two settings, freezing or heater. The buffet breakfast had assorted egg dishes that were wrapped in foil but were not warm and the egg and cheese omelette was very bland and rubbery, no bacon or sausage without the egg omelette thing. Other than that it was a typical continental breakfast nothing really notable. The back parking lot had a large section of pavement that was sinking that was just surrounded by traffic cones. The neighborhood itself was okay but the other patrons played in the pool loudly until 10pm which normally wouldn’t bother me, but I had my little dog with me and she kept barking at the noise so it really kind of annoyed me because we were right on top of the pool on the third floor.

I travel a lot to the Largo area with my buddy that’s in a wheelchair. The manager David and his staff are second to none. They always treat us so kind. Everyone on his staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew are professional and extremely courteous. They always go the extra mile for us. David and his staff are the reason we stay at this hotel every time we’re in town. I highly recommend!

We chose this place because of the reviews and star amount. While it was not the worst experience- the hotel did not meet my expectation for a 3 star hotel. The room was clean- but in the parking lot there was a large hole that obviously wasn’t going to be fixed since the cones around it were so faded and the greenery inside was well established. There was a boarded up window with the a/c broken visible as well. On our was to the room on the second floor- the carpet was stained in many places. The shower head needed to be either cleaned or replaced as it was spurting water everywhere and every direction. The alarm clock was not at the right time and there was no way to change it without having someone come in and unscrew it (and it was late before we realized this). The phone plug was so worn that I needed to use another plug. While we were in a nice location overall, directly next to the hotel was a trailer park. It was comfortable enough- it just was not 3-star worthy I don’t believe.

The suite that we stayed in had 2 queen size beds and a pull out sleeper and was spacious enough to be comfortable for all of us. The breakfasts were very good with lots of selections and warm food. Very nice hotel for the cost! Great value!

Bed was comfortable. Liked the kitchenette. No water pressure in shower, terrible. They came to check on it but no change. Pool was overtaken by large family who were loud and fighting and made a huge mess of pool area. Left cups, toys, wrappers, empty bubble bottles, eyes lashes (4) on pool deck, 2 large sections of hair weave on pool deck and other sections of hair extensions in water and wadded up wet napkins that looked slimy on pool deck. I couldn’t even swim after that and reported to desk and they said they would clean but went out and only some things were cleaned up. Breakfast had quite a few choices but only b what bread which I don’t like and didn’t care for breakfast sandwiches. Last day they had breakfast bowls and fritata which were both good and wish they were available every day. The poor water pressure will keep me from staying again. Don’t feel clean after showering when water is just a dribble. We also thought it weird that there was shampoo and body wash but no conditioner. We had to go buy conditioner. Al at check in was nice. All the staff was nice. They gave us a goody bag with water and chips at check in which was nice. They can’t control who stays there I know but that huge group of unruly family members fighting in the pool and being loud ships have been told to get out and clean up the pool area. Not sure how this got a 9.6 rating. Also upset hotels.com dropped price but did not credit my acct. They hope you will buy early.

We enjoyed our stay , every one was friendly and kind , the breakfast was great with different variety of foods. David always made us laugh and very polite and the other workers greeted us and was always cleaning and refilling items. The were even cleaning the chairs and things out by the pool which i’ve never seen before . They said the pool was heated but we didn’t try it but seen all the kids enjoy it . The beds and pillows weren’t the greatest but could’ve been worse lol . The floors in the room had some staining but not terrible , we had a room with a kitchen in it and it was great to have that available.We defiantly recommend and will return again.

Such a clean and safe hotel to stay. Wonderful staff. Room was very clean and in roof refrigerator was full size. Morning breakfast was good. Very near all food outlet. Very near to Clearwater and other near by beaches.

Affordable hotel driving distance from all attractions. Dog friendly. Front desk staff are awesome. Cleanliness not great: we walked in and there was food left over from prior guests as well as Easter eggs on the floor( clearly they did not vaccum). We visited in April and I am still waiting for the manager to call me about my experience!
