We spent 4 nights at the hotel and we love the staff from reception desk to the breakfast area and special lounge. I will definitely return to this delightful hotel. It is also located at a great place in Kyoto and many activities are walkable distance. Hotel personnel is really looking for the most to help you. After a bad fall in a tour, when I returned to the hotel, they provided big I e-pockets which helped much. Thank you Fauchon for this wonderful memories you helped us create. To the next time!

I’ve been to 53 countries in the 🌏. I was very impressed with this hotel. First starters , the location of the hotel is perfect. It’s centrally located to everything (walking distance to major shops, old town etc. the room is spacious with a huge comfortable bed. Upon every arrival you’re greeted with a hand towel and a bottle of water (brutal summer months) The STAFF is amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure the client is taken care of. Every single need of mine was met with no complains. I have to give a HUGE thanks to Jin . She’s of the front desk managers. I can’t explain the measures she went through for me to get all of the things I needed. From Baccarat items to last minute dinner reservations. The hotel should be grateful to have her as an employee and I hope whoever reads this message from the hotel will acknowledge her accordingly. Also, thanks to the other manager (male) I can’t remember his name at the moment however, he was always amazing in assisting with client relations. He recommended a few places to visit in Osaka. Lastly, the hotel restaurant is superb. Excellent breakfast and lunch. They also have a small shop downstairs upon entering the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I’m actually looking forward to staying here upon my next visit to Kyoto. Thank You hotel Fauchon and keep up the excellent customer service.

Fabulous stay. Rooms are on the smaller side but well done and comfortable. My only recommendation is that they have an iron in the room; the steamer is pretty much useless.

This is our 2nd time staying at Fauchon. And we will stay here again. Service is very good. Beautiful and spacious rooms,. The bar cabinet is full of varieties of complimentary cookies. If you can, add the breakfast option. It is served on the 10th floor and has a great view of the famous temple and mountain ranges. The food is simple and of high quality. if you stay more than 2 days, they will provide alternate menu in case you need more variety.

Incredible hotel. Very clean. Attentive staff communicated well in English. Friendly bartender. Beautiful view of the river from the restaurant. Amazing food and pastries. Nespresso and teaa well stocked in the room. Would absolutely love to stay again. We walked everywhere in Kyoto right from the hotel. Imperial palace, gardens, multiple temples, restaurants. The river walk. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, from check in, comfortable beds, great snacks in room and the pajamas were incredible. The only disappointing issue was that I went to the gift shop to buy the pajamas I had in the room, but when I came home I realized they gave me the large instead of the small which I asked for. Now I need to figure out how to get a new pair sent to me and send the too large pair back. Other than that, it was a perfect hotel with a great view of the mountains and river.

Everything was perfect. Contemporary, very chic decor and furnishings. The superior room has adequate space. Customer service from staff members was impeccable. The hotel is a good 15 min walk from train station. Very close to Gion district. Luggage forwarding service is very convenient and well worth it around $25-30 per luggage depending on weight and size ….. takes overnight delivery to most hotels around neighboring cities/towns but sometimes may take up to 2 days, so just be aware. Thank you for all the free tasty treats, shopping bag and coffee/tea provided in the room. The high quality and comfortable slippers and pajamas provided are a plus! Check in and check out were a breeze. Definitely unforgettable stay and highly recommend.

Luxury hotel, beautiful room and excellent location (10 minutes walk to the Gion district). Breakfast is served on the top floor by attentive staff with breath-taking view of what Kyoto has to offer. Cherry blossoms are right outside our window.
