Hotel room was smallest they had (like NYC small). Bathroom found cockroach. Lobby was super small. Room floor was dirty. Was not happy with the quality overall especially for a Kimpton’s upscale history.

Great hotel close to the beach and restaurants. We stayed before boarding a cruise and it was very convenient. Stay are excellent and provided exceptional service. Rooftop pool was great

This is a beautiful hotel, mut stay here if you want to enjoy the beach. The rooms are so nice. The location is also closed to the water taxi stop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool has an outstanding view of the area and great spot to relax.

Stay was ok. Hotel is off beaten path, down a dark street. Not even close to the look of the resorts around it. That’s why price is so much cheaper. Hotel definitely needs some TLC. Tiles on floors are old and weathered, beds are not very comfortable and doors are hard to get deadbolt locked, unlocked. Out of adjustment. This was on the two rooms we had. Also hotel is pet friendly so watch out for land mines walking on dark street. Also parking is difficult. Can self park on street, but can only prepay 4 hours at a time for $4/hour. Must wake up in middle of night to add 4 more hours or car will be towed. So they encouraged to use valet offered by separate company outside their door. $47 for overnight thought that’s not much more than self park so went with it. Read fine print on disclosure afterwards. Not responsible for anything is basically what it said. Got in car next morning and checked over for damage, etc. Then later checked for $10 roll quarters for toll roads and it was gone. So they got our tips plus another 10. To stay in that area for that price it’d be ok, but don’t trust the thieves at the valet.

It started out not great when we came in at 2:30 am and was advised that parking was 47USD for the whole stay to then be told minutes after that it is actually per day. It was too late for us and after a long day of travel, it did not give me a great impression of the hotel. The decor is cute and trendy but some details show the age of the hotel and how it lacks attention. We never got two bottles of water a day as mentionned included in the resort fee and some days when they changed the towels, we did not get new ones. The floors in our bathroom was always dirty which is understandable due to the sand but still… the AC was extremely loud and the room was on ground floor where you can see people walking on the street day and night. On the positive note, the hotel is situated only a few meters away from the beach which is great, they offer coffee and water every morning in the lobby (although other Kimptons offer snacks which they didn’t) some of the hotel staff were so great, especially that lovely lady that greeted us every morning with a big smile. Thank you, you really made a big difference in our stay. Overall, We want to come back, however, I would not pay more than 250 CAD a night.

The location is very good. Quick walk to the beach. The coffee shops close by were great. Close to Las Olas. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Felt safe at location. The rooftop pool and bar were by far the best surprise. The drinks were good the pool temp was perfect. The views amazing. Lots of seating areas and fun music. Def made the trip for us. The rooms were fine. Nothing fancy but had what you need. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Bed/pillows were very comfy. Breakfast was very good. Would stay here again.

Promised beach access which is really quiete a walk. Not near at all. When we arrived at the beach no sun umbrella are offered , hotel refers to policies that they are not included. Not even as we offered to pay for it. We tried the pool area instead to ge some shade but everything was blocked no chance to get anything to sit or lay down. This was in summertime which is off season... Very loud air condition hard to get a good nights sleep.

nice hotel. Front desk staff members are great. main restaurant staff members are great. Rooftop Pool bar staff members…. are very rude. Booked a “premium room”… It was right next to the storage room and we were waken up very early ever by cleaning ladies opening and closing the storage room door non stop. We had a wonderful view from room 124 of… dirty towels bins in the service alley :) Basically… don’t pay more for a premium room :) 5 minutes to the beach and great dining options nearby.

Excellent stay. Two pools. Quiet pool at the bottom and amazing view for the roof top one. Very quiet hotel and bedroom. Very pretty grounds with trees and lots of green. Breakfast by the pool with lots of options. Great room. We loved it!

We had a great time at he hotel. The staff is absolutely fabulous and did a great job at making our stay enjoyable. Big thank you to Iris!! The room was actually much bigger than we thought it would be and it was very clean, as was the resort! The rooftop pool was fabulous we spent most of our time there and the bar served some delicious food and drinks! We will be back....

Was a disappointment as the room was not clean and the floors dirty. Had a problem with ants in room. Poor A/C that was loud and old. Pool area not clean. Breakfast not as received - unable to get a breakfast and drink with the $25 allowance then have to pay tax and gratuity. Wouldn’t return On checkout they refunded the resort fee as a gesture of goodwill however the stay was not enjoyable

We had a wonderful stay at Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale. My husband and I spend 5 days on a relaxing trip. The place was clean and well kept. Tashetta received us open our arrival and made the start of our trip great, with a welcomed smile and beautiful personality. Kimpton is a clean, quiet and friendly hotel. It was very refreshing to see hotel staff, from reception to house keeping so accommodating and authentically hospitable. July, 2024

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very professional and nice. The property was very clean and the cleaning staff was great. I like the fact that is it a smaller chain, but don't let that stop you. It is a few minute walk to the beach, which is great. The rooftop pool is amazing with a great view and great vibes. I would definitely recommend the Kimpton.

Loved all the courtyards around the property and the sitting areas. The rooms are airy and open. I loved the huge shower, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was within walking distance as well as restaurants. I loved that the room was equipped with a beach bag and towels. My husband and I loved our experience and wish we could have stayed longer.
