I stayed at this hotel, rather than the Ritz Carlton, as a comfortable and enjoyable alternative. I was very pleased with the level of comfort, decent food, options, and overall quality of the hotel.

Amazing hotel. It’s right next to the McLean Metro station, so could not be more convenient to get around the DMV. There is a Capital One Event facility being constructed, so it might not stay as quiet as it is now. Good to be here while it is.

Beautiful hotel and amenities. Service was world class. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the nicest hotels I’ve been at in a very long time.

The decorations was very trendy, modern and smart. The staff was polite and professional. The restaurant could have delivered the food sooner with a neater presentation. Other than that the restaurant was great. Actually I was the Director of Engineering at a Kimpton Hotel (Madera) in DC, I’m Very impressed with amenities, shower, and decors. I will stay in another Archer Hotel.

Staff was wonderful, hotel was convenient, quite, had great HVAC system, fabulous bar-I will stay here again!

The hotel itself is great; however, BE WARNED: the pet fee is $150, which was a) a surprise (never seen a pet fee that large, and it was not disclosed until I arrived) and b) was almost as much as the room itself cost for one night. I feel it's deceptive not to provide a straightforward cost when one indicates they are bringing a pet.

For our anniversary weekend, we were looking for a one night getaway somewhere nice in the Tysons area. We decided to stay here because it looked amazing and was close to the galleria where we’d be doing dinner. Checkin went smoothly, but when we got to our room it was rather cold, so we set the AC to “Auto” and “72” to get it to warm up. After about 20 minutes it went from 70 degrees down to 68, and I called the front desk. They said they would have a mechanic look at it, which was a bummer, as we didn’t want someone coming in the room. I called back after the thermostat hit 65 degrees and said we were just going to turn the air off, as we didn’t want the mechanic in the room. Front desk said they wouldn’t have to come in, so we thought this would be okay. A few minutes later (after the air has been turned off for about 10 minutes), the AC turns on, blows cold air for about a minute, then turns off. Then, we get loud knocking at the door from the mechanic. We had already communicated that we didn’t want someone coming in, but here he is. I open the door and he explains it should work now. So we turn it on and set it to 72. Five minutes later it is absolutely freezing again. I gave up and called the front desk asking for another comforter, as it would be cold. I was expecting to at least be given a functional room with AC. I received a very light blanket and we suffered for the night. The next morning, we were woken by housekeeping trying to come and clean the room early.

The hotel is located in a great location and was very clean and bed was very soft and room was stocked with Fiji water which i very much appreciated. I wasn't crazy about the $25 a night for valet, but i actually enjoyed my car being brought to me without having to walk around in a parking garage in heels. The valet men were very nice and super attentive so i appreciate thier help as well. I stayed in the Watermark hotel before, but i would definitely choose to stay at Archer again.

Include parking as part of your overall cost. Not having self parking is not convenient

It was very nice and had great ambiance the staff were curtious and helpful. Loved the valet staff and service. Really other than check in no real interactions to have.

Absolutely Amazing in all areas

My first time staying and it was a pleasant experience. Staff was courteous, accommodating & friendly. My room had a huge brown stain on the floor and a brown spot on the lamp by armoire but everything else was clean. I would definitely stay again.

this was my second time staying at this property because the first time I loved it so much I feel so comfortable there and at home honestly it’s my favorite hotel chain. I want to go to them all.

Excellent service from the second I pulled up to the valet throughout check in and during my stay! The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I loved the bath amenities and the welcome note was a lovely touch. The pillows were a little too soft but overall the bed was comfortable. I would strongly recommend this hotel to others!

We will definitely come back to Archer. Everyone was wonderful especially valet service. Never experienced valets who were so aware and so nice. The location was perfect being so close to Tysons and 495. Thank you!

Cheapest and easy parking close to downtown DC. Clean and new property

Fantastic choice of you want to see DC or just stop in the area on the way through. Our only regret is that we didn’t arrive earlier on the Friday night to have a drink at the bar and enjoy that hotel A bit more….. the double king room was perfect for our family and we would all highly recommend the stay. Breakfast was great too.

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and very comfortable beds and pillows! Very convenient for attending a concert at Wolf Trap; the Express Bus was a great bonus. We will definitely be back!!
