We have visited El Cid's properties in Puerto Morelos over a dozen times and have always had an enjoyable stay. During our last visit, my wife had a negative experience with a staff member at one of the restaurants, so I brought it up to hotel management. I had no expectations beyond them taking action. After spending that afternoon at the pool, we returned to our room to find a hand-written apology note, a small chocolate sculpture, and a bottle of champagne. They definitely listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my wife was smiling before we left. Bad interactions happen sometimes so I would not fault them for 1 in over 10 years, but I will give high praise for their response!

I had a lot of fun with my kid, they even have a pool with a slide and jump off cliff which was a plus, I would definitely come back.

Food was great overall, you won't get access to all the restaurants, but if you choose Mexican, Mediterranean and Japanese, you will have great food. Hotel room was beautiful and clean and with a beautiful view. Pools are nice as well as the bars. As it has a Marina, and a Delphinus you can take water tours from the marina and swim with the dolphins. If you're an ocean and beach lover, this is not for you, beach is horrible they have sand bags in the water so you can't bath and it stinks horribly, they remove the seaweed from the beach but leave it on the sides to rotten and the smell is horrible. Also, if you like to go out and explore or go to a nice beach or shopping, rent a car, even if it's just for part of your stay. Transportation is really pricey. A bonus, there are crocodiles and water lilies at the Akat restaurant, that was beautifull

Extremely family oriented and couples resort. Had many pools, lobby’s, and restaurants to suit anyone’s mood from quiet and relaxing to active and party time atmosphere. The staff were always available and helpful to serve our needs which made my family’s vacation that much more enjoyable and relaxing.

Marina El Cid its an amazing all inclusive resort. We stayed at Ventus Ha but had access to all of the pools and areas. Staff was so friendly and nice and helpful. Transportation from one place to another was so easy with their little sports cars. Everything was clean! Food excellent with so many options! Definitely would go back!

The property is okay. surrounded by swamp and LOTS of mosquitos. the restaurants were alright. The worst one was AAkat. we upgraded to a swim up in Ventus and realized the cleaning people threw dirty water from the upstairs balconies into the pool area so we went back to our original room at Vantus Ha. much better. there is construction going on however its not very noisy. The food is mid. the pools were good and a decent temperature. All staff expect to be tipped, for everything. Although I do tip I ave never been to a resort where its expected for any little thing. Overall I would not return to this resort

We have stayed here twice and both times were a dream. I don't think we can get ourselves to stay anywhere else now. And please remember people, service runs on tips in Mexico do this and you will be served like a king/queen.

I was a little weary of staying at this Resort because of the reviews. But, it was within our budget for my family of 5 and I was booking last minute. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Ventus Ha is the smallest resort of the 3 but you do have access to the other 2 as well. The resorts are beautiful and maintained. Staff is attentive. Meals were of what is to be expected in an all inclusive and my family is not picky. I didn’t have to cook, breakfast, lunch nor dinner so I am not complaining. We had no issues with our room. Night entertainment could do with some improvement. But overall my family of 5 enjoyed this resort and would recommend it!

Stay was great even though Hurricane Beryl got in the way one day. Staff was great and resort was clean. Dining options were abundant and food was really good. Only downside was the availability to reserve dining options besides the buffets. Additionally, they are constructing another building in the property and construction noise was inevitable

Personnel is amazing, Gabriel, the manager at Kobo was very helpful and Clemente at the sense bar at ventus ha always make the extra for everyone who get to the pool bar. The only point against is there is no beach but for the rest was a good experience.

If you are looking for a quiet newer hotel, come here. Resort is super clean. Food is pretty good. 3 resorts combined. We stayed at Ventus-Ha in a 2 bed/3 bath which was amazing especially during Hurricane Beryl. With kids staying at Marina is more worth it. Main pool is there.

Resort was beautiful, but the food was very disappointing. We aren’t big drinkers so had hoped for some quality food, but with the exception of the lunch restaurant (which was amazing) everything else was blah. It is unfortunate they don’t leave the lunch buffet open for dinner. That would have made a huge difference in our stay.

One of the best experiences! The rooms were amazing, the property was always clean. The food was just ok at the buffets, but the restaurants food was excellent. They were hard to get into, but they were excellent. I have to say-what made our experience top notch were our butlers Gonzolo and Luis. They took good care of us.

We loved our stay at Ventus Ha. The food was amazing. The service was top notch. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. From Donna and Leticia at the platinum club, to Gonzalo and Luis as butlers, everyone was amazing including the hostesses, the servers, the cleaners, etc. Beautiful rooms, amazing showers, comfortable beds and pillow options (with platinum) 5 stars. The service and the food really pushed it over the edge to make us really satisfied we chose Ventus Ha. El Cid has great employees! They were great before I gave any tips, but I love giving them to people who deserve recognition and reward for their hard work!
