This hotel was way better than I thought. Staff was really friendly and trying to help us with A to Z. Room was big enough for two people and amazingly clean. There’s couple of restaurants inside hotel we did tried both of them and it was 5 star!!!! Very delicious. I will go back very shortly!!

I’ve traveled around the world. I’ve also stayed at the standard in New York City. This is by far the best hotel, I’ve ever stayed in. It’s not just the rooms and the staff and the service- the grounds are incredible. As a designer, it’s amazing to see how much consideration went into every single detail. This is my second trip. I stayed for six days this time. See you again next year.

Great location and excellent pool. The hotel was nice and enjoyed our stay. Closed to other areas via a walk on the beach. I really enjoyed hanging out at the pool a few hours a day. It was a nice relief from the 110 heat in Kanchanaburi. The hotel was ok value but it was not cheap.

Staying for a night , overall is good. Good vibe. Great service. Just that Quality of in room appliances/ amenities is not up to expectation , not worth the price. No toothbrush provided by default need to make request for it. Many mosquitos, parking lot quite small hard to park. Tv signal not so stable.

We had a blast staying at The Standard Hua Hin with our 3 months baby boy! Staff went beyond expectations by providing all things we needed in the room for our baby (Baby crib, bathtub…) Great location, amazing food and super brand new hotel. I also got the chance to try the spa and it’s incredibly beautiful with super skilled masseuse. Looking forward to be staying here again!

Nice place about a third of the rooms than the Marriot down the road. I liked the pool and that it was not too crowded. The pool is very nice. Had a third story balcony room. The room had everything we needed. Bed was firm but not a brick. GF and I slept well every night. We were able to get a grab any time of the day from early morning until late evening. The beach was fantastic right off the pool. One night a beautiful full moon and just sat in chairs enjoying the Gulf of Thailand. Not too many negatives that I can think of. Breakfast was good enough but not fantastic but not bad either. They could have had a few more swimming pool cabana umbrellas although there was shade enough without them. Walked on the beach and cut through some alley by the Hilton which had bar after bar and walked our way to the night market which was a fun outing. Took a couple of other 2 hour outings to check the malls and the mountain area out at the end of the beach. I would stay here again. Staff were always pleasant. Did not care for the pizza at lido’s but did enjoy a meal at the other restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Standard Hotel. We first booked one week, and then extended another week. Great location, excellent service, nice and clean rooms. Joga twice a week was really nice. Breakfast includes everything what you can imagine.

This is a beautiful little enclave with a great breakfast and a really great dinner restaurant. Private pool/bar area walks down to the public beach, if you’d like to buy nicknacks. Hotel feels smart and modern with a surprisingly competent gym and some cute-savvy architectural elements. Room was well appointed (BT speaker, usb ports, minibar) Staff was really great and the food was smart and delicious. Some of the bird recordings are overplayed.

Outstanding from start to finish and we will come back. The photos of the pool and grounds don’t do it justice. I almost didn’t book because I thought the pool looked small but my goodness what a wonderful size with multiple areas to sunbathe and take shade. The happy hours are fantastic- ambience around the pool was ace with awesome music and super friendly staff. The restaurants were great. We didn’t leave the resort because it was that good! The only thing I would say is the quality of the bedding and pillows/ duvets is not to the standard of other standard hotels we have stayed at. We will be back it’s such a nice place for a chill before a few hours drive to Bangkok to fly home

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. From the entrance to the beach, the hotel's design was close to perfection in every little corner. The room was normal , but the toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, and bedding exceeded the standards of a five-star hotel. The restaurant and pool area were absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed lounging by the poolside every morning and afternoon. The whole design was trendy, with a perfect combination of bright yellow, blue skies, and lush green trees. Just looking at it made me feel happy. The hotel offered a great semi-buffet breakfast, which was quite enjoyable. Every staff member I encountered had a warm and friendly smile. I particularly loved the Thai restaurant by the beach, which stayed open until midnight. I had the option to dine indoors, on the terrace, or on the beach. Every evening, I would sit on the beach, gaze at the stars, sip my drink, and work. It was truly a delightful experience. The only drawback was that the room doors seemed to be not heavy enough and couldn't close on their own. I often found myself struggling to close the door after entering the room. Additionally, due to the hotel's proximity to the beach, the rooms were quite humid, and the bedsheets felt damp.

This place was amazing and smelled wonderful. Everywhere you walked from the gardens to the bathrooms had a scent of cinnamon and cloves. Also staff is very attentive. The breakfast was great and staff was helpful. The hotel is right off the beach and also in a walkable location if you choose to leave. We took a Tuk Tuk to the Cicada Night Market for 150 baht about 5 minute drive. The pool area is super nice and clean. We all love taking photos but at times the "social media people" with their "photo sessions" could be distracting at times when you're trying to relax and you have people next you posing for photos. Either way I highly recommend this hotel.

It is a brand-new and spotlessly clean hotel in a city location. It's within walking distance of major attractions like the big mall, night market, and numerous restaurants. However, be prepared for busy or understaffed front desk hours during peak times and late nights if you want to contact from your room. Anyhow, I still recommend this hotel.
