Considering the price, this was good value for money. Colombian breakfasts are not as you might expect coming from the UK - a little light in quantity. The room was a good size, with a balcony as promised, but it was an internal room without any view. It was clean, but could do with some maintenance. Due to noise from some of the bars around the hotel, an internal or rear room is a good option, don't go for the upgraded rooms. Wifi was pretty poor in the bedroom, but better in the common area beside reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, and English was spoken by some.

La Martina is well located near many restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the Poblado Metro station. There is no elevator so be prepared to walk up a flight or three (the top floor). Its not a party place although it does have a rooftop bar which is not well attended. The premium rooms have air conditioning while the standard rooms only fans. The morning breakfast is excellent and the desk is helpful and friendly. I arranged an airport transfer after my checkout and it arrived promptly (a few minutes before my 6am checkout) and the driver was efficient and safe and the vehicle in good condition.

La Martina is close enough to Provenza (10 minute walk) but is in a much more quiet neighborhood, yet with many bars and restaurants within a block. The room is basic, with a fan (not an air conditioner or heater) but luckily, Medellín doesn’t need them. The hotel breakfast and the 30 mins free massage are fantastic

The staff was amazing. The place was very nice, but we had mold in our room. He did move us to another room right away though. The Jacuzzi was falling apart, but besides that everything was good.

The property was clean and adequate. But I had two concerns. First the room had a window but it faced a wall ( so no view). Second the restaurant for dinner during the Copa America soccer match was not good. We disnt receive our food for almost two hours and when it arrived it was burnt. Dont eat at the restaurant.

I’m happy to report that I stayed on a Friday night and unlike many other reviews did not hear any noise and did not need earplugs. Walking back to my hotel at approximately 1am I did not hear any bars or clubs playing loud music and I didn’t see a bar or club on that block. Unfortunately the room was in fact disgusting enough that I was afraid to use the towels to dry my body with after a shower. The sheets had MANY particles from hair to small pieces of foam. I believe the sheets were washed BUT their washer machine must be operating very poorly that it doesn’t drain out the particles in the water well. I guessed the tiny foam pieces came from being washed with the sheets because I found them to be on the sheets and towels, suggesting it happened during the (poorly) wash process. I didn’t want to eat the breakfast due to the cleanliness levels being very low at this hotel. Fan was loud but I think only to those light sleepers, not loud enough to keep me awake. This hotel should not cost more than 30 dollars

I loved everything about this place. The hotel was a wonderful, classic boutique hotel. It was really clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The service was fantastic, and it was like an elegant little home. Just great all around. The neighborhood was so beautiful with so many things to do I love this place and will always go back!

Our check-in started with a notice that the room we had booked was not available and that for our first night, we would have to settle for a narrow “double bed” bedroom that was very very small. The attendant did however upgrade us to a bigger room for our next 3 nights. Also, While we booked ourselves as a couple, both times the rooms had only one pillow and one towel, which was rectified once we brought it to the attendants attention.

Beware the hotel rooms are nothing like the picture. The room I stayed was ridiculously small and all run down and old. The worst an unbelievable is that for 2 days in a raw the restaurant staff didn’t have change in the register for something equivalent of $5 bucks, really a boutique hotel in the heart of el Poblado not have change to give back? That just tell you everything you need to know of the operations they’re running in this hotel. Save your time and money and book somewhere else if you don’t want to be severely disappointed.

Well locatedhotel in the Manila area of Medellin. 10 minute walk to the Metro, shops and restaurants nearby. 12 minute walk to Parque Lleras but on a quiet street. Nice breakfast.

Nice hotel, located in a quiet neighborhood with many tourists and restaurants around. The standard rooms are just enough for 2 peoples, don’t expect to work there for a day, but you can in the restaurant at the lobby. Staff is nice ! Great stay in general !
