About this house rental
This marvelous Lodge is a 3000 square feet custom lake house located on a bluff overlook Toledo Bend Reservoir. Enjoy a cup of coffee with the beautiful Sunrise or relax with a magnificent sunset lakefront view. Toledo Bend offers world class bass fishing and many nature adventures. This house has so much space with room to sleep additional guests if you bring your own sleeping bag or air mattress (for more details please contact host). Please Note: you will not have direct access to the water in the back of this property, however, boat access is a couple of blocks away.

The experience was great. From the house to the scenery. House has all that you need and more. The place was super well equipped for cooking, furniture was beautiful and comfy. The checkin and checkout were quick and easy. Highly recommended.

Our stay was amazing! The host was so helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and movies in the theater. There was plenty of room for us. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to take your family to relax and enjoy the company of each other. Our family had a great time and will be planning a trip back.

Large Family vacation
Three families (12 total people) were able to come together to celebrate family and the 4th. The house was perfect with the pool table and movie room to keep us occupied at night and nearby lake for fishing, kayaking and boating fun during the day. The host quickly responded to any questions or issues that may have come up and worked with us for our arrival and depature time. We had a great time.

Very nice & peaceful. We just wish that we had a pier to fish from. Also fourth bedroom would have either a closet or a dresser in it to put clothes. The kitchen & living area is just perfect.

Large Home For Group
The location was ok, definitely not a short walk to the marina across a 2 lane bridge. The size of home was great and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Lots and lots of dead bugs on windowsills, counters, etc.

This property has everything for a great getaway. The rooms are all large and nicely furnished. The theatre room was awesome. The area is quiet yet close to restaurants and things to do. The owner quickly responded to our questions. The seating areas were comfortable and perfect for enjoying the beautiful lake views. We enjoyed staying here very much.

Perfect peaceful space for large family
This was easily the best rental we have had. It was the perfect meeting point for family traveling from Houston, Dallas, and Southeast Louisiana to celebrate my son's 21st with 2 requests, fishing and family. The spacious layout of the house provided more than enough room for everyone. The house was fully equipped with all kitchen needs. The owners really thought of everything. We didn't need them but they even have a high chair and baby playpen. The younger ones loved the movie room. The teens loved the fire pit and pool table. The adults played horse shoes and drank coffee looking at the lake. Everyone enjoyed themselves from the old to the young and most of all the dog. The view from the back porch is great. You can't access the water from the property due to it being on a cliff but the Marina is 5 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again but a few days longer next time!

Great Spot on Toledo Bend
Our recent stay at this home in Milam was wonderful. The house was very clean and well appointed for our group. The views from the back porch and upstairs game room make this place worth every penny. We loved celebrating our dad’s 85th birthday in this beautiful setting.

Nice Location
Our family was pleased with the ease on renting this property. Check in was a breeze. Communication with the owners were excellent. It was cold outside the first couple of days during our stay, so we made the most of it and enjoyed the movie theatre and playing upstairs at the pool table. We also chose this booking because it was pet friendly. The location was great. We went to the Marina that was near by and enjoyed paddle boating. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

Wonderful home away from home!
We had a fun, relaxing time at this beautiful log cabin with lots of space to move around. Large bedrooms with plenty of closet room. All the necessary kitchen utensils were readily available for us to
make our Thanksgiving dinner in the spacious kitchen. Nice view of the lake, too! We felt right at home!

Perfect for a medium to large party size. Property is awesome. Plenty of flat ground to throw a ball. Big enough fire ring to share some good stories. Inside is not crammed when everyone is inside at the same time.

Family Retreat
This house was perfect for a close family weekend. It was spacious, beautiful, and was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were friendly and non-invasive. The pool table and theater were an awesome added bonus! We had team matches and a family movie night. The view is breathtaking. We sat on the porch drinking coffee looking out in the lake. We just left today and everyone is already talking about when we will go back.

Gorgeous, beautiful retreat!
This home is just magnificent! The home is so beautifully laid out - more than ample room to spread out if you choose or pile in the large living area and/or cinema room! The kitchen has everything you need for gourmet meals! We honestly were blown away by all the amenities this property had to offer. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell they take pride in keeping this property up and provided guests with the best! We evacuated from Hurricane Ida to this wonderful place which proved to be the respite needed during such a difficult time. The view is unmatched! The owners are top notch: They went above and beyond for us (and our pets) and were right next door for any and every need. I can't wait to return at leisure. Perfect for a large group or an intimate gathering! Thank you for hosting us!

Loved the house! The view from the back porch was amazing!
Hosts communicated quickly when we realized Dish Network was not working on the upstairs TV's. Had it repaired the next day! Any questions were answered immediately and we felt safe during our stay. Was a great house for our family as we had 11yrs old to 82 years old staying the entire week plus two dogs! The house was large and laid out well so we all had plenty of privacy and the kids loved the entertainment room. The cliffside view off Toledo Bend was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing!

The waterfront lodge and lake house was the perfect choice to accommodate our family of 19 (5 of our children, their spouses and 9 grandchildren). Everyone enjoyed the home theater and playing pool at the lodge. The lodge and lake house had all the amenities we needed and then some. We enjoyed gathering at both houses to cook and visit. It was so convenient to be able to rent the pontoon boat for a couple of days during our stay.
Tracy and Missy were so easy to work with and were available if we needed them.

This place is awesome! The natural landscape is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained (and offer a ton of activities like volleyball, soccer, golf, fishing, archery, and more), and best of all was the cabin. It was obvious that a lot of time and detail went into making the cabin as beautiful and comfortable as it is. I wish I could live there! The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating as well. I can't recommend this place enough--I know I'll be back.

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful lodge! The owners were genuine and very accommodating. We rented the pontoon, which was nice also. The lodge is very spacious. The kids had a great time after fishing, playing on the pool table and enjoying the movie theater! Thanks so much for everything!! We will be back!!

The lodge was nicer than expected, quick drive to the boat landing. View was beautiful over Toledo Bend, and overall had a fantastic time in a great place!

My husband and two sons are active duty military. Getting together as a family is a hit and miss! We currently had the hopes of gathering together while one son made his way to his new duty station. We scrambled to make a way to memories in this lovely home. It is not going to work.
I must take the time to express my deepest gratitude for the owners trying to make it happen. They went above and beyond anything I've ever experienced in my international travels. It felt like a family member that wanted to make this dream happen as much as I did.
We may not happen this time BUT when it does, this will be the place!

This house is very comfortable and clean. The grandchildren loved the movie theatre and the pool table upstairs. We were disappointed that access to the Lake was difficult. The boat ramp is a short distance from the house, where the charge is $5. All in all our stay was lovely.

This house is absolutely wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. We had kids from 11-20 years old. All enjoyed the pool table, theater room, fire pit and all the little extras in the house. My only disappointment was that the dock was not visible from the house. It is only a short walk away. Owners were very responsive and caring. Highly recommend for families.

Cliff side cabins and rentals are top notch. Very clean, well kept up beautiful property. The people that run this place went beyond expected to help us out at the cabin. Would recommend them too anybody. Great place for a family and friends to get together.
