About this house rental
This beautiful compound is located on Wequetequock Cove in Stonington, CT. The 6- bedroom main home is newly renovated featuring 6 new King Beds. There are also 4 additional Studio Cottages each one very unique. They are all located steps away from the Main house. One Cottage has a single king bed, a twin bed, kitchenette, and a private bath. The other has 2 queen beds and a private bathroom. There are 2 more guest cottages that each have a private bath and a king bed. We can provide a small Boston Whaler type boat to take you to the beach. That is correct. The absolute nicest beach in all of New England is located 6 minutes from the house. It is called "Sandy Point Beach" It is only accessible by water. You don't have to go in the open ocean to get there. It is safely approachable by a small boat, kayak, or SUP. From your deck you can see the train bridge that you must go under, once on the other side you will see Sandy Point 1/4 mile in front of you. This beach is pristine. The water gradually goes out making for the perfect setting. Look up their Facebook Page or Google it. The beach is all perfectly white sand under your toes without a crab, rock, oyster, or anything else below you. We also offer a custom pontoon boat that has been fitted to seat 24 people comfortably and can fit under the bridge. It is the perfect transport to and from the beach. We have a captain that will bring you each day for drop off and then pick up.
You are welcome to bring your own boat also, just remember no high T-tops. We do provide plenty of kayaks and SUP's for your private use. We also offer a boat rental or shuttle service to the beach for a nominal charge.
We boast the strongest internet connection and the best WIFI available throughout the entire property. You will always be connected with full bars. This house is perfect for the gaming enthusiast on a rainy day. You can connect the Xbox into any bedroom.
Getting back to the house itself.... Well, it is newly renovated this year. Everything is new. Every bed, sheet, pillow, utensil, tv, appliance, etc. The main living area is incredible. It is completely open so that if you want to have dinner for a large group it is simple to do so. The deck is huge and can hold up to 18 for dinner. The inside dining area is huge as well. The kitchen is set up as a gourmet kitchen with all of the necessary amenities. The bedrooms are awesome. Every bedroom is very large. Every bedroom has a new internet-based TV. All six of the bedrooms have a King bed in them. Yes, that is not a misprint. Every Bedroom features a closet, nightstand, and bureau. There is a pull-out sofa also that allows for an additional 2 people to sleep comfortably. In total the home sleeps 14 extremely comfortable. If you need to add a few additional guests, this can be arranged. There is ample room for that. Upstairs can be used as kids' rooms or teenagers etc. There are 5 bathrooms throughout the home, with 1 of them being an outdoor unit. Then also 4 more bathrooms with 1 in each of the cottages.
The grounds are incredible. We have over 12 acres of beautiful waterfront property. There is ample room for tents and parking. If you are planning a wedding or other large event, we do allow them, but you will need to speak to the owner first about additional costs and provisions.
We have an Oceanside Cabana that has all of the kayaks, SUP's, fishing gear, paddles, even an ice maker located right next to the boat ramp. There is no need to lug heavy SUP's or kayaks any distance at all. You use them and the Cabana is right there. IT is awesome.
The home has central A/C throughout. It has been decorated by an award-winning designer from Greenwich, CT.
All of the Cottages have A/C as well.

We are walking distance away for the famous "Salt Marsh Vineyards". If you are planning a wedding or event there, We are the perfect rental destination to accommodate all your overnight needs.
The home is located just minutes away from the gorgeous Stonington Borough area, and then only a couple miles from the famous downtown Mystic area. You can visit the Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, many local museums very easily. We are only 15 minutes from Foxwoods Casino or Mohegan Sun Casino also.
We are conveniently located next to the Salt Marsh Vineyard also. This is the perfect home for a wedding party or a rehearsal dinner.

The house was very nice and family very happy there. The boats and pond also very nice. The owner should have noted that the house was on a major highway and the driveway was public since the house is on the marina property. The cabin was totally not ready for people despite the owner saying it was. Couldn’t plug in microwave no shelves and a toxic smell coming from the open construction site of the other cabins. We communicated with owner who acknowledged And offered a free boat ride but We wouldn’t return.

We wanted to visit with Family, and this house was the perfect spot. It’s a perfect common area, between the kitchen and the dining room with seating for 10. The deck and fire pit area were a favorite too. We barbecued on the clean grill, and had a wonderful time with family. Our guests raved about the property and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The use of the canoes and fishing supplies were definitely a big hit.
Louie and Steve were amazing and very attentive to our needs. We had no issues, and looking forward to a future visit.

Tom Lockwood offered a full refund since the property we booked January 24-26, 2024 did not have running water when we arrived and we could not reach anyone to resolve the issue. It is now July and I have had no success in speaking with Mr. Lockwood, the owner, or his GM, Mike. They don/t return calls and we have not been reimbursed. My husband and I rented this house for our 7 adult children, their partners and our 2 teens. The place was clean and provided us the space our large party of 14 needed for eating. sleeping and hanging out. Unfortunately there was NO RUNNING WATER. While my husband and son-in-law tried to resolve the issue, I left voice messages with the owner and the GM. Our family was driving in from Boston, Worcester, Long Island and Washington, DC for my father's wake and funeral. I texted with Tom Lockwood and spoke with him after we finally made other arrangements. Mr. Lockwood was apologetic on the lack of water issue and sympathetic for my father's death. Mr. Lockwood agreed to refund us completely. Mr. Lockwood offered us the FREE use of the house if we wanted space to congregate after the funeral since we were now in several hotel rooms. Although we didn't take him up on that offer, I thought it was kind and that he was a real stand-up guy. I am deeply disappointed that this hasn't been resolved.

We had a large group of girls stay here for a weekend. There was a ton of parking, plenty of beds, lots of seating inside and outside. The house was very nice and clean. It is a great location close to Mystic and close to the Saltwater Farms Vineyard which was also a great place to go.
Unfortunately it rained a bit while we were there so we weren’t able to take the pontoon. Once we got to the property though they were super great about scheduling the time we wanted for the pontoon and following up on what we wanted to do when the weather wasn’t great.

Girls trip! 6 ladies enjoyed the stay. Being new to traveling together we really appreciated the 6 bedrooms and was the main reason we picked this location. We loved taking the boat ride to the island. Our “tour guide” couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed the large dining table where we could gather. The town was super quaint.
What we would have liked to see is some basic staples in the house. It lacked simple things like a pen and paper, a welcome book with some basic knowledge of the house and town, deck of cards, minor toiletries, coffee filters, salt and pepper, sugar for coffee, some newer pans to cook with.
I just think having some small touches would go a long way.
The description had some discrepancies and the floors were very wavy and uneven.
Other than those suggestions, we were happy with our stay and would recommend.

Rented this house for a family reunion party and had an excellent stay here. So nice being able to fit everyone with all the beds they had as well as enough sitting room. It was a beautiful property, all fully renovated, and right on the water with amazing views. We also were surprised how private and quiet it was there. Everything went very smoothly from check-in onward. When we needed some additional fire wood the owner had someone bring it over immediately which was perfect. The owners were lovely and we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the house in Stonington, which has clearly been renovated recently. The description that is posted for the inside of the house is accurate. The location is quite close to Mystic where there is a lot to do and our extended family enjoyed exploring the area. We did encounter two issues during our stay. First, we had an air conditioning issue and contacted the manager at 8 pm asking for assistance, and did not receive a response until the next day. Once the issue was addressed, the AC worked great. Second, we were not aware until we arrived that construction was being done on the property. Though the workers were not present during the weekend when we stayed at the home, we did see evidence of the construction and materials were left onsite (ie, wood scraps with nails in the fire pit). After voicing our concerns, the owner was very responsive and granted us a partial refund. Excepting for the above issues, our stay was lovely.

Beautiful home with view of the water. Plenty of space to enjoy time together with friends. Very clean with numerous amenities, great kitchen, and bedrooms. We enjoyed the deck and patio. Highly recommend.

Great property for our family celebration! Plenty of room for all 12 to gather, eat and sleep comfortably. We used the paddle boards and kayaks and had plenty of space for the kids to fly kites, play soccer and enjoy s’mores by the fire pit. Great fun fishing for stripers at night with the help of the property manager too! Location was perfect for our trips into Mystic to the Aquarium and Seaport Museum and planetarium, as well as the Oyster Club Cafe, Zest pastries and Nana's Bakery and Pizza ! Even Niantic was just 20 minutes away and made for great fun attending the Niantic Bay Oyster Festival! Tom was great to work with and we were overjoyed to find this house on the water to bring together our families from Maine, NH and Long Island!

The house was very nice and perfect for a family gathering! Fire pit was great. Wood was provided which was convenient. Lake and lake activities were perfect! We have a great time! Owner Tom and James there were so helpful and very sweet. They even brought us oysters and showed us nice places to fish! Definitely recommend!!

A Trip To Remember
What an excellent stay this was. House was awesome! 6 king bedrooms along with two couches and room for a blowup mattress upstairs. Every room had a flatscreen TV and we slept 9 more than comfortably. The deck was awesome as well! MASSIVE table with seating for a village and an outdoor couch as well. We spent a lot of our time surrounding the campfire and roasting s’mores. Firewood was in abundance in which the groundskeepers provided (Louie and Steve). They were more than helpful with our stay. Showed us around and were in quick contact anytime we had a question or needed anything. They even helped show us how to find and catch blue claw crab alongside the dock which ended up being a lot of fun. Down at the dock there was a shed that had everything we needed to take our stay to the next level; paddleboards, kayaks, lawn chairs/an umbrella for the beach and even a tackle box for you fishing folk. We used the Boston Whaler for our stay and it was a straight shot to Sandy Point Beach. One whole day was spent at the beach and we had one heck of a time (beach towels were provided as well). Tom, the owner, even came in and checked on us one of the days to see if we needed anything. He was very welcoming and made sure our stay was one to remember. There are a bunch of good seafood restaurants nearby that we checked out (Breakwater, The Bridge and Dog Watch Cafe). Food delivery services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats were available in the area on the days we didn’t feel like driving anywhere. There was also a grill with plenty of propane that we put to some good use as well.
Overall, it was an incredible stay and we can’t speak highly enough of the property. 10/10 recommend! Well done Tom, Louie and Steve!

Fantastic Family Beach Getaway
The beach is so wonderful. It was only 5 minutes away. We rented a small boat for the week, and it was just great. We went back and forth to the beach all the time. On Sunday we had many guests come for a wedding party and the owners took us all by pontoon boat to the beach. It was very fun. The house itself is beautiful. It was immaculate, the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates, pots, pans, utensils, and every possible cooking gadget imaginable. The bed linens were clean, soft, and very comfortable. Bathrooms were also very clean. Plenty of space to spread out. The location was central to Mystic, Stonington Borough, and so close to the Vineyard. It has spectacular water views. There are multiple places to gather both inside and out but could have privacy when needed. Plenty of outdoor seating, fire pit, etc. It felt like our own private resort. The house has a cozy comfortable and friendly vibe. There is a small building right next to the boat ramp that had all of the kayaks, SUPS, life jackets, and fishing poles. It was nice being so close to the water. This was the best vacation We ever had!!!!! HIGHLY recommend this House. Great Owners.

Fantastic Property and Experience
Great boat ride on the pontoon boat, so much fun. Took all 22 of us to the beach at once. Dropped us off at 9 AM and we called for a pickup about 3 PM. They came immediately to get us. Beach is pristine.
Grounds are huge and beautiful. We used kayaks and SUPs all week. There is a storage building right next to a boat ramp to put them on. It was very easy. Tons of life jackets, beach chairs, umbrellas, everything we needed for the beach. Even a large new Yeti Cooler to use, which was a plus.
Was only a few mins by water to the beach. We went by kayak some days also.
The house is new- utensils, bedding, towels, everything. Beds were very comfortable and there was strong water pressure in the showers.
So close to Mystic and the Stonington Borough. Tons of restaurants. Was only 1 min away from DD for morning coffee, as well as gas stations etc.
We rented a small boat and went fishing too which was fun.
We had gorgeous weather. The one drawback was that 1 week is not long enough!
There was a grounds keeper on premises when we needed more firewood or whatnot. He was great.
The huge patio with fire pit was awesome. Also was a massive deck with a table that we could fit all 22 of us at to eat at.
The house was decorated nicely and it was very clean. Overall highly recommend.
