This central location is great for getting around the Charleston area. Within 15 minute drives, you can be in downtown, West Ashley, Park Circle, Daniel Island, or Summerville.

Great decision. Comfortable and relaxing… felt like being home. But somewhere new to explore and experience… location worked great for our needs… no difficulties or issues the whole time…

Excellent property! We came to Charleston for a baseball tournament and this location was perfect for our family of 3. The place was spotless and you can tell the owner took great care in cleaning and preparing for their guests. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed during our stay.
Bathrooms were super clean and there were plenty of towels available to use. As far as the interior, the place was decorated so nice and the beds were comfortable. The owner put some small bottles of water on each night stand which was a nice touch and there are power strips on the night stands, giving you plenty of places to charge the things you need through the night. The backyard is fenced in, and divided from the other property next to it, giving you privacy if other guests are in the adjoining unit.
We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Charleston! Thank you for providing a pleasant stay!

Loved this property, clean nicely appointed and clean. Rosi was a great communication, check in and check out are easy. House was super cute inside and the backyard was convenient for our small dog to stretch her legs! Location was convenient to everything you’d want to do and see. Will stay again when traveling with family to Charleston.

Host was awesome, one of the best we've had. Very responsive to all questions, even allowed us to check-in early. Property had everything we needed for the week and the beds were very comfortable. Great location for airport, Joint Base Charleston, and Tanger Outlets. Very nice neighborhood. Would recommend this property.

Clean and stocked with all the necessities if you happen to forget. Host was great and quick to respond with any questions. Plan on coming back to the area and hope to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Worked out well with our dog. Only drawback was backing up to a major road so it was a bit noisy for hanging in the backyard. A few neighboring houses were vacant, but it appears they are getting refurbished. Overall great for a few nights stay.

This rental was exceptionally clean. Especially for a property that allows dogs. Which was a godsend for us because we have two! Check-in and out processes were amazingly seamless and the unit itself was extremely convenient for us to get to any and everything we needed for a week long stay. I know people can have reservations about North Charleston but we felt extremely safe and comfortable at this rental. We would absolutely stay again anytime we're in Charleston. Thank you so much for a really comfortable week away from home!!

Really clean and modern 2 bedroom and fully stocked with all the needed amenities. Fenced backyard and a quiet safe neighborhood for walks with the dog. Rosi was very communicative offering us early checkin and asking if everything was ok during our stay.

This N. Charleston cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was exactly as described/pictured in the listing: clean and comfortable with everything that we needed for our week-long stay. Our puppy dog also gives it two paws up.

We chose this house due to the ability to take our dogs and the fenced yard. Although it’s a duplex, the yard is fenced down the middle to
separate the yards, so it worked fine for our pets. It’s also a quiet neighborhood to walk the dogs in. The house is absolutely lovely and the host provided anything you could possibly want; very accommodating. Would definitely stay again, if we had the need to visit Charleston again.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked into this home. Everything (and more) is provided for a comfortable stay. The home is very clean and beautifully decorated. The host was immediately responsive when I reached out to her. If you are a light sleeper, we recommend sleeping in the smaller bedroom as we were not able to hear any traffic in that room. Great location - it only took us 20 minutes to get downtown. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed here for an event going on at the convention center. We had a great time!
Positives:
The house is newly renovated and looks great. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. They supply you with all the things you need and a few extra items that you may forget (toothbrush, floss, shampoo, soap, etc). The house is in a great location for the outlets, convention center, downtown and it’s not too far from the beaches. The check in and out process was super easy. The house is wonderful for pets. I loved that it had a fenced in backyard. The owner also provided dog bowls and poop bags. The house was stocked with bath towels and beach towels.
Negatives:
The house backs up to a very busy road and there is a fire department just down the road. I’m a light sleeper and even wearing earbuds didn’t block the sounds from outside. If you’re like my husband who could sleep through anything, then this won’t bother you. Lastly, I wish it had a 2nd bath. However, we made it work for our family of 4.
I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at Madrona's Cottage. The beds were cozy and the full kitchen and laundry room made us feel right at home. The location was perfect for going back and forth to the convention center for the dance competition. We were happy we came across this jewel.

Very clean nicely appointed, appliances work kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Lots of blankets and pillows games lightning fast, Internet, and comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay and found it very convenient to every place we need to go. The stoplight around the corner was very helpful. The busy street behind us was noisy at times but it didn’t seem to bother us very much.

This is a great place to stay! We loved everything about the cottage. It is SO clean - I really appreciated that. It is beautifully decorated and feels fresh and relaxing. We had everything we needed plus more.
We visited downtown Charleston during our stay - Markets and the aquarium (Loved it!) and walked along the waterfront a bit - couple cool fountains (kids playing in the water), a great pier, and lots of space for picnics or sitting and relaxing.
We also went to Folly Beach - loved that too!. What a cute beach town! It was Memorial Day so it was super busy and took longer to get there (50 minutes) than get back (20 minutes), but even so, I'd do it again.
Rosi is a wonderful host and I recommend The Madrona Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay! Came in town to take in a few days of Charleston history/culture during our oldest daughters spring break. The house was clean and very well stocked (spices, towels, detergents, games, etc.). The owner is very thoughtful to provide water in both bedrooms upon arrival as well :). Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard, and the neighborhood felt safe. My husband walked our dog early morning and night without issue. Do be aware that it is near an airport so there is some noise. Also the backyard is near the main road so we noticed quite a bit of street noise and loud vehicles throughout the day and night. Not a big deal for us, but figured I would mention. If in the area again, will definitely rent this place from Rosi again!

What a great stay!!! This was a last-minute trip and we could not have been happier with our accommodations. Maria is a great host. The area is perfect; really lovely, quiet neighberhood. The entire house was very clean. Absolutely love the decor and plants everywhere, it truly felt like a home away from home.

This property was exactly as pictured. Everything was perfect. The owner thought of everything from toiletries to cleaning supplies. There were plenty of great quality towels and the beds were very comfortable. We loved playing Charlestonopoly our first night to get acquainted with the area! She had other games too. We ubered not far to the coliseum for a concert. The drive to downtown Charleston was about 20 minutes. Rosi was very easy to contact and wanted to help if needed. Great sized bathrooms and closets. Having a fenced backyard was handy for the dogs. Couldn’t have been better nor cleaner . We will definitely stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay at this property! We arrived to a perfectly clean, organized and beautiful home, and after a long drive that was so appreciated. The house was excatly as advertised. Fully equipped kitchen, games for the teenagers and plenty of space for everyone to hangout together. We were attending a concert in North Charleston so the location was perfect for us. We did pop into downtown Charleston and it was a very easy drive. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great time!!
